Well, from the looks of it, it seems that the last 3 were dumped in the battle late and since the other team had numbers superiority, they were camping at your base and doing a lot of spawn killing. Nothing unusual here! Just bad game design from clueless game designers. Do not blame the devs in this one. It is those who come up with the dumb designs and force their uneducated decisions upon us. It is the same with whoever came up with this ridiculous missions. They shortened the battles and they still have missions that are way out of proportion. Missions should be difficult but attainable within a reasonable amount of time based upon skill. Having a daily mission to use 50 overdrives in battle, given the fact that quite a few battles end within 2-3 min of joining, and the slow time of OD recharging, this is hardly a mission that is attainable in a day, unless of course you have no life, and worse yet it require no skill whatsoever! But who cares, right? In general, this game from the implementation of MM has not been thought out thoroughly, it suffers from poor design, lack of understanding why most long time players play the game, and in general no adjustments were made to take into account the dumb changes the game designers came up and ruined this game. Most of the comments are that this MM has so many flaws that the game is no longer enjoyable. Personally, I do the missions whenever i can just to get enough crystals for a Pro Pass and I play the game like it once used to be. (until they change it). And if I do not like the maps that are in play, I create another battle and I invite the few friends that have stayed and we are happy. By the way, I would have invested in this game some real money if I could receive some value in return. However, changing things and taking away something that I already paid for and to have to pay again to get that "alteration" is not a good economic decision for me.

OKDad70 I sympathize with you and I am just as frustrated to the point that I do the missions to get enough crystals for some upgrades and buy a pro pass so I can play on the maps I want just for the fun of it. But let me tell you one thing: Nothing is random in this game. everything done by "management", is done on purpose. 1. They on purpose shortened the battle time so they can inflate the number of battles and at the same time make it difficult to complete the missions in hopes that you will get frustrated and you will spend money in the Shop. Just like you did by purchasing the Premium account. 2. The containers are anything but random. The majority of them are either Speed boost, Mines or useless paints that perhaps only a shopaholic would purchase! 3. A moderator said that they decided to let the system chose the maps because we were playing mostly on Polygon! Guess what! I have noticed that the majority of the time, I get dumped in to the "new" Polygon map anyway, sometimes as 4 times in a row especially in CP missions! Good luck completing a mission there with only 3 CPs and 20 players in such a small map! Done on purpose so you will have to play multiple battles in order to complete your mission therefore increase your time you spend in the game. 4. The small selection of maps is also done on purpose. It is much easier and cost effective to maintain a smaller number of map rather than a whole bunch of them! Think about this: why they did not transfer the new maps to Pro battles? my guess is because they will have to maintain ALL of the Maps and perhaps they do not have the resources to do it. I could go on and give you more reasons why there is nothing random in this game but I think you get the point.

I am really sick and tired reading this guy telling us over and over that Tanki has to change to MM because that's where the industry is heading. MM is nothing new in the gaming industry but not only Tanki came in to the game very late, they also managed to mess it up royally and piss off the long time players. I know that, because ALL of my old friends have left the game as soon as the MM started! My theory is that what sustains Tanki financially is the new players that join and buy stuff until they find out that what they bought with their money is not worth what they initially paid because of the nerfing and such. But that cannot be really a sustainable financial model because they will eventually catch on and say the hell with it like a lot of us have done. If Tanki wants to sustain itself financially, they should listen to the player base and address the issues. I said it before, as a challenge, allow missions to be completed in Pro battle and then see how many players will choose MM! I would dare to bet good money on this! But I know Tanki "management" will not do this because it will expose their bad decision.

According to Viking4s it is because that's "what the management has decided for the game." In other words "management" thinks it is OK for us to waste our time waiting only to get dumped in to a short battle again and again.

"hate MM and will play somewhere else" because you will find MM there too" True, but you forget the fact that "somewhere else" MM is more mature than this atrocity that Tanki thinks is MM! Look for example at WoT MM: 1. Balanced teams with equal players on both teams. 2. Battle does not start until ALL players are in place. 3. You will never be dumped in a battle where it will end in a few seconds, especially after you have waited for 2 min like in Tank! 4. You will never get "an error has occurred" 5. You will never take over 3 min to get to your garage! 6. You will never get "you have been removed due to inactivity" even before you got into the battle! 7. You will find that all teams in battles ARE MATCHED in number of players, ranks and equipment. In other words, I have never been in a battle where the rank spread was more than 1! (yeah try that in tanki!) So, before you reference "game-industry standards" try at least to develop a MM system that conforms to game -industry standards! If not, then you should not force it upon the players before you create something that at least resembles game-industry standards game. By the way, it seems to me that you also losing the USA market since after 1:00 pm MST (20:00 UTC) you can find very few battles in Pro Battles and waiting times are increased due to diminishing number or players. I remember the good old days, I had tough time choosing which battle to enter because the were so many choices of good Maps (and I do not mean Polygon or Sandbox, which appear even more frequently in MM especially in CP battles, yeah right good luck completing a mission get 1500 cry or points on CP battle on a map with 3 CP points AND unbalanced teams while you get dumped in it with 3 min left!) But I understand that your job is to sugar coat the problems and not to solve any of them.

There are a lot of ridiculous missions especially at the weekly level where you CANNOT change them! For example, get 50 overdrives, Score 10,000 points, get 15 top 3 finishes. Also, score 3 goals in Rugby? yeah right, especially when you wait 2 min to enter a battle only to end within a few seconds later because one team was 1 goal away from winning. (especially on those "balanced" MM battles where its is 8 v 4!)

I had the same question and a Mod replied that if you have a Premium account the stars just like XP and crystals Double up. Sure enough, I paid attention to who was getting the double stars and they all had Premium accounts.

But have you wondered why there is the "decreasing player base"? Perhaps it is due to the atrocious MM system, but Tanki does not want to acknowledge this fact. Just for the heck of if, if they ever allowed again missions to be completed in Pro battles, very few fools would bother with MM. I have been trying for the past hour to get in to finish a mission "finish 5 Assault battles" and the bar loads forever until it kicks me out "due to inactivity"! What? I haven't even got into the game yet! The average time is a joke because I have never been in a battle even remotely close to that time! And when I do get to manage to get in I have been in a battle that ended within 20 sec because of the terrible unbalanced teams! They call this MatchMaking? It is mote like MisMatch than anything else? Never mind the fact that the rank range is so wide that pits 4-6 lower level ranks against Legents! There must be a masochist in Tanki who thins that we like to get one shot even with DA by a higher rank with fully upgraded M3's, while we do not even qualify for an M3! Let's face it, this system was rushed into production without having been thought out properly and tested properly. In the meantime Tanki will keep losing players. I just barely do any missions, and only to get enough crystals to buy a pro pass and enjoy a good battle on the map I want to play and not the one's a low IQ game designer wants me to play. This is happening to me more often especially when it is getting closer to server restart.

Hmmmm. in 2018 and it is not fixed yet? Must be lower priority than shortening battle times and total flags and points! But hey, they cannot even get a reasonable rank spread in MM, so we should not set our expectation too high!

So what if the players created the same battle over and over? Remember, they play what they like! Not that MM is any better giving you a variety of maps! There are plenty of times where I got in to the same map 4 times in a row! (not by choice i may add!) As far as Monopoly goes, the game is perfect and it does not need much of a change. But do not compare a simple board game, to an online real time multiplayer game! Oh, trust me when I say I understand perfectly all about business. I am in the gaming business and we always listen to our players for improvements and we do care about our player satisfaction which in turn makes us more money and we have more players than Tanki would ever have even in a wet dream! Do we always accommodate the requests? of course not. However, when we make a change it is not because some arrogant game designer thought it WOULD be a great idea to introduce a new feature that the majority of players hate, but because player feedback said it was a great idea. See the difference here? Besides, if we do not listen to the majority of our players, we would not be were we are now. We would be were Tanki is! But do not take my word for it, just google the best online Tank games and let me know why Tanki is not even listed in the top 10, heck it is not even listed in the top 20!. Here is a hint: (Look at gamersdecide.com, pcgamesn.com, ranker.com, levelsmack.com and many others) Then perhaps you can learn about customer satisfaction and that it is important to listen to what your customers have to say. You are totally wrong about me. I play for the fun of it and not the missions. I could care less about a stupid mission like get 10,000 points for 1 container only to get 45 Speed Boost! I play for the fun of it and also to check out the competition. So TANKI keep doing what you are doing and lose players. Nah, don't bother with the facts? He knows better and he likes the game as it is!

"Then the purpose of MM (faster entry, balanced teams) is defeated." That has already happened, because we do not have faster entry and please do not make me laugh with the term "balanced teams"! I have no seen a "balanced team" since the day this MM crap was forced upon us.

In plain language, he is saying that while there are many levels of Legends , i.e Legend 1, 2 and so on, when you get in a battle you have no clue of what level of Legends you are playing against by just looking at the rank. Why have different levels and not being able to distinguish among them? How difficult would have been to indicate the level number next to the rank?

You somehow forgot to mention that before, we were able to CREATE battles also! We could CREATE a battle and then CHOOSE which map to play. Oh, yeah we can play Pro Battles but we cannot complete missions in them. If Tanki has the guts to do it, let players complete missions in Pro-battles and you will see that NO ONE (well maybe except yourself and some like you who want others to think for you and tell you what map to play, you know the good old Soviet thinking) will play in MM. How how about it TANKI? are you up to the challenge or are you afraid that MM will be exposed for the failure that is? Also, why not give us a choice in the challenges on what paint or effect we would choose? Because getting an effect for a turret we do not have is not much a reward but wasted effort. But then again, it is all about CHOICE, isn't it?

sine the latest "update" I get way too many "server connection closed, renter the game" What gives. It happens throughout the game, even if I am sitting a the main screen doing nothing but reading the chat. It also happens when I try to enter the game as soon as it begins to load right after the timer screen. -
Exactly! I have been to quite a few battles after the latest update that lasted under 2 minutes because it dumped me into an unbalanced battle. I did not even had a chance to get settled in to the game and it was over! I hope people here read all the comments and then think twice before they dump any real money in to this crap

thanks for understanding! Some of us do not invest too much time in this game anymore because it is not as fun as it used to be. consequently, some of the missions seem unreasonable.

Right you are about the overdrive and good luck if you have a mission like use 50 overdrives in battles! Heck, I had tough time completing a mission to use 5 overdrives because I got in to battles that were just about ending because not only the reduced the time but they also reduced the flags/points etc. SO by the time you enter an unbalanced battle, the game is over!

Yeah, But can anyone explain why someone with 130 points gets 2 Bonus points and the one below with 95 gets 4?

same here. Seriously? Paints? Oh yeah, and the very "reasonable" missions "take the 3 top places in a winning team" in 15 battles for 1 container! I have accounts that the mission is still there for months as I play the game for the fun of it and not to waste effort and supplies to achieve ridiculous missions!

1. Battle time has been reduced to 7 min. So far, since the beginning of the matchmaking crap, I have NEVER entered a battle with more than 7 min left on the game! The average battle time left was 5 min. I take it now we will enter with about 1 min left and we will not even have time to get out of the spawn killing zone. And if you have the wrong combo for the map, because with matchmaking we do not know on what crappy map we will get dumped and 90% of the time we have the wrong combo, good luck getting in to the garage in time. For some reason, it takes over 2 min to get in and change equipment. And don't tell me to get better internet connection! 2. I never understood the need to wait 5 min or even 3 min to change equipment. I think 1 min is more reasonable. Nah, that would make too much sense and we know that the people at Tanki do not know how to spell "sense" let alone comprehend it.

Matchmaking was a failure since the first time they implemented and then they had to pull it in order to "fix" it! (like Tanki devs are capable of fixing things!) I had said back then that this system will not work but do you think the head game designer is going to admit failure? We know it is a failure, the teams are not balanced not only in the number of players but the difference in ranks is what it makes it a bigger failure. The missions are ridiculous also. Seriously? I am going to waste my time to complete a Score 10,000 point in battles for 1 container? or get 5 times top 3 in a winning team for 20 batteries and 20 speedboost? I do not think so! I do not use drones and I have more than enough speed boost and mines to last a lifetime! Yet everytime I get a container, it gives me either speed boost or mines! It never fails! Once upon a time this was a very enjoyable game, now, I have to wait over 1 min to get in a battle that says the avg waiting time is 19s! (I have even waited up to 6 min before I cancled out and I have the screens to prove it) That is if I will ever get in, because most of the time I get "you have been removed for inactivity" even BEFORE I ever got into the battle! Oh, yeah, tell me that I need a faster connection than my Gigabit Internet connection or that I need a better PC than my dual XEON processors with an NVDIA dedicate graphics card. I also found it interesting that when I need to complete a Get 10 points in Control Points battles, i get dumped in to a small map with 2 or 3 control points that are always covered by my team and I can not even get a single point! I think Tanki does this intentionally so we can spent more time playing the game and perhaps get frustrated and spend some money to buy Premium Accounts! (this is of course my opinion) I would welcome anyone from Tanki to explain why we cannot chose the map or at least see it before we enter so we can be better prepared or avoid the map altogether if we so choose. But then again Russian are not used to having or providing free choice!

Mouse controls work only in IE and Firefox. If you use another browser you will not be able to turn your turret using your mouse and I do not think many players like or know how to use the keyboard to turn their turrets

Pardon me, but That's a bunch of bull. Golfinray is 100% right. I am also a retired IT professional that has spent a good 35 years as an IT Director and VP managing IT projects worth tens of millions of dollars so I have been in that side of the fence and I know very well the challenges. For your information, I have fired more competent programmers for less reasons than the incompetent Tanki developers seem to give. First of all Tanki seems that are not willing to give their customers what they want. (I am sure, from the comments here, I can conclude with certain amount of confidence that the majority of players do not want the Matchmaking system as it is now). Second, this is the only organization that I know that sells you something and then changes the item and now if you want what you had before you have to pay again. An example of this will be some of the effects the we have to pay for turret features such as the Twins self damage. Initially Twins did not have self damage and then it was changed and no you have to buy a modification in order to get what you had already bought, But the bigger issue is not the prices or the giveaways and the takeways but the fact that the game has some major programming flaws that are not addressed in all the years that I have been playing the game: 1. Lag- never solved. 2. Matchmaking - unacceptable to pair lower rank players with players of 4 or 5 higher level rank. This is either a programming flaw or a deliberate move from Tanki to force the lower level players to spend money to get better equipment. 3. Matchmaking: many times I waited over 1 minute only to get dumped on the losing side of a battle that had 3-4 min left and 8 vs 5 teams! What's the point of playing such a battle? 4. Dumping you on a random map: I am sure that someone gave it a serious thought that it was acceptable to be dumped on a map with the wrong combo against 3-4 higher level opponents. That is a serious design flaw made worse by the fact that you have to wait over 1 1/2 min to get into the garage! By the time you get back in the battle, your team has lost ground and you have not had a chance to get a better score. 5. Waiting for over 1 minute to enter the battle only to get an error message that "you have been removed for inactivity" BEFORE you even had a chance to enter the battle! I could go on with more but you seem like a smart person and you should get the point. As for the projects not been that same, you are correct, but the development process, no matter what the project is, and no matter which development process is used, (SDLC or agile or spiral or whatever the current flavor is) will have a very important step: TESTING. And that is where Tanki seems to be be lacking. Judging by the amount of problems after each change even a minor one, it seems that the system is not tested properly and we are left holding the bag so to speak.

Nooo! Let the buyers buy more useless stuff with their money so we get to play the game, at least for now, for free. It doesn't matter if they buy this useless bundle, we will kill them just as easily but they will die in style!

Strange that these "little issues" creep up right after server restart! hhmmmmmm. makes one wonder what else it's gonna break.
