Smoky + Wasp is extremely annoying.
-
Freeze M3 really isn't bad though.
-
I'm not. I have Hunter M2 for backup as well. My Wasp actually has the advantage over Wasp M2 of being underestimated. People will think I am really weak and charge me and then I just finish them off with my Firebird. Everyone's expecting ~90 - 100 protection, I have 120.
-
Cardinal has the disadvantage of much less maneuverability though.
-
I always thought Prometheus was king of Polygon CP.
-
I'm skipping Wasp M2 and getting Wasp M3 (since they are not far apart in unlocking) from Boreas Kit. My current Wasp M1 is MUd 31/50 and has 120.6 protection (almost M2 level) so it is really not much different than Wasp M2. Once I reach Major General I can start the MU process for my dream tank (although I will want to set aside some crystals for Prometheus Kit).

This is my highest account. I will do this in the future on this account. I already figured out how much it will cost (a great deal) and I am willing to wait to get the crystals for it all. I've been playing with Firebird + Wasp long enough to know I really like it.

Nah, that's not true. I've been very successful with my Firebird M2 + heavily MUd Wasp M1 in many battles (it also happens to be one of my main combos) and I haven't used drugs with it (except pickups). The rare event in which I drug at all is when there's a gold box and I have a great chance of catching it. I've accumulated a stockpile of 304 repair kits, 996 double armors, 1000 double damages, 905 speed boosts, and 507 mines from missions as a result (I won't use them until I reach Generalissimo). I am so happy with Firebird + Wasp that I will get Boreas Kit and Prometheus Kit in order to get the parts for my dream tank (Firebird M3 + Wasp M3 + Zeus) plus some other favorite equipment (Hunter M3, Freeze M3, and Taiga). And yes, in case you're asking, I have been playing with higher ranks frequently with my Firebird + Wasp combo, so I know it can be good.

OK, sounds good. For myself, I will MU my Wasp M3 like crazy, then save up and get Prometheus, then I can MU the Firebird M3, Wasp M3, Hunter M3, and Zeus paint at the same time (because I really like Firebird + Wasp and Firebird + Hunter for large and small maps respectively).
-
Firebird + Wasp is fun for large maps and Firebird + Hunter is great for small maps. I intend to use these combos at the M3 level as well.
-
Minotaur is quite deadly (even against my well MUd Firewall), but it is a bit pricey. I suggest you saving up and getting an M3/M2 hybrid kit (like Bulldozer, for instance) which barely costs more but gives you an M3 which will be good indefinitely.
-
It is definitely worth it if you really like the turret that much. However, I do not recommend MUing items at first that are not your favorite and most used.
-
Is Firebird your favorite turret?
-
I expect at least 50-100K extra crystals for these MUs. I currently have 211K crystals.
-
I will be getting Boreas Kit. Would it be better to spend the remaining crystals on MUing the Freeze or the Wasp?
-
Hunter is taller than Viking, not shorter. This is what makes it unstable.

I think Twins is way too OP at all levels. The impact force on Twins M1 can somehow make my Hunter M2 fly (a medium hull one level higher). It has great range and damage too, and the best reload time of any turret. I have not found a single weakness in it yet. I think Tanki should make its impact force a bit less, so it is actually as powerful as the other turrets its own level. For Vulcan, I think the impact force should be decreased slightly as well, because it is nearly impossible to approach it to fight (if you are using a medium or light hull). Vulcan does have a weakness (self-inflicted damage if shot too long), but Twins does not have a clear weakness. I suggest the developers create one so the game becomes more balanced.

Is Tanki Online really worth playing/climbing through ranks?

Playing Generalissimos with good M2s isn't as bad as it sounds. I have gotten first place before with them in the battle with only my Firewall Kit. -
I'm not buying a pro pass right now because I am saving for an expensive kit, and 5K crystals can make all the difference. Once I get it, though, I will get a pro pass.

Dragon Kit Firebird M3 + Wasp M3 + Zeus This combo is fast and has great damage combined with a great paint. Should unlock at maybe Marshal or Field Marshal.
-
Firebirds should have higher damage because their range is way shorter than almost all other turrets (except Isida, which is a support weapon). They may seem really OP on small maps (good for short-range weapons), but on large maps (such as Brest) Shafts, Railguns, and other medium range or long range turrets win. Also to note is that Firebird M2 and M3 are both very expensive for their level.
-
Can someone give their advice to my question please?
-
I'm debating whether to get Boreas Kit, MU the Wasp M3 early, and later get Firebird M3 and Zeus or wait all the way to Marshal, get Prometheus Kit, and then get Wasp M3. If I do the latter I will need an earlier M3 combo (which will probably be more expensive), but will get my dream tank (Firebird M3 + Wasp M3 + Zeus) at the earliest possible time. I am leaning toward doing the first sequence of actions. Which do you think is better?
-
Not all kids are like that though (thankfully).
-
It's served me well up until I got Firewall Kit, so I would say it is a good turret (at least for me).
