It seems to have gotten better lately. My Freeze M2 can freeze my opponents for quite some time once I have been shooting long enough.

I think Twins is easier than Firebird because of its unlimited reload and decent range. With Firebird you actually have to be mindful of how much spray it takes to kill each tank so you aren't wasteful of your ammo in order to succeed. With a Wasp it becomes even more interesting. You have to use hit-and-run tactics all the time to get away with kills. None of these things take no skill- they all involve skill. Because of this I think Twins is generally the most simple turret to handle.

The paints that unlock at Generalissimo are superior to the Premium paint anyways... Plus they look better! I have more against druggers than premium account members.

Your paint offers 50 protection combined against all the turrets. This is less protection than the paints that unlock at Captain. I think that paint would be good at the M2 level early on but it is really a weak paint. You might want another version at the M3 level that has 100 protection total from turrets that unlocks at Commander or Generalissimo for the avid Wasp fans. Plus, the upgrades on each protection are really small, much smaller than on typical paints.I think this paint as it is is worth 80K crystals or so. The protections on this paint just aren't good enough to justify spending over 100K on it.

I remember recently fighting in a battle against two Commanders. One used Hammer M3 + Viking M3, which were both MUd halfway to M4 (he told me so). The other used Railgun M3 + Wasp M3. This battle was on a large map, Serpuhov. With my Firewall Kit I could occasionally kill the Hammer M3 + Viking M3, despite the fact he used repair kits and drugs. I eventually switched to Firebird M2 + Wasp M1 and then soon afterward the other Commander joined. I managed to kill him with my Firebird's burn a lot and could use shortcuts to catch him. He left because he was beaten up so badly. Soon after this the battle ended. If you have skill and some good M2s you should have a chance against the M3s.

That's great for around my rank, but what about at the M3 level? Also, you might want a little more protection from Railgun considering it does the most damage of these and can 1-shot Wasps.

Hammer definitely. I know the impact affects a Wasp greatly, but I can use that to my advantage, flipping over the enemy and pounding lead into them. Smoky would also be a good option as a highly mobile long-range weapon. It is true that Zeus protects extremely well from Firebird, but there is a paint with great protection from pretty much all turrets. These paints are all common at the high rank level. I have fought Generalissimos and I can attest that although many of them have Zeus, Firebird just isn't used commonly enough at that level for them to equip that paint regularly. Many get Firebird M3 but then don't use it as their primary weapon.

One does not need to buy to get a kit. You just need to be wise about what you spend your hard-earned crystals on. For example, without any buying of any kind in Tanki I got my Freeze M2 as a Warrant Officer 5, got my Firebird M1 fully MUd at Third Lieutenant, and got Firewall Kit at a huge discount at the Christmas sale when I was a First Lieutenant. Now I have a Firebird M2 MUd 16/50, a Hunter M2 MUd 6/50, a Wasp M1 MUd 31/50, and a Freeze M2 MUd 14/50, all because I spent my crystals only on things I would use all the time and I am good at. Right now I am saving for Boreas Kit and have 168K crystals saved so far.

I currently use a Firebird M2 with 16 MUs (which isn't far from a Freeze M3's power). I have plenty of experience from Freeze at the M2 and M0 levels. I calculated the upgrades, and if I use all the crystals on the Freeze M3, I can get it to 70 damage. If I use all the crystals on Wasp M3, I can get it to 160 protection. I'm thinking most should go towards Wasp since it is part of my dream tank, but MUing the Freeze some as well may be a good idea, since it is my second favorite turret and a great back-up weapon for when many of my enemies have paints with good protection from Firebird on. From my experience in DMs, Freeze is usually better than Firebird because of the Freeze effect and because it doesn't have the burning time feature (makes it easier for rivals to steal kills from you that way). Recently I played a friend who used Boreas with my Firebird M2 + Wasp M1. I won marginally, probably more because of skill rather than stats. He could sometimes kill me first but my burning time always destroyed him. Of course, my Wasp M1 is MUd 31/50, so my chances against him were good.

I'm getting Boreas to get my Wasp M3 early. I have 165K saved up for it so far. I expect to have 100K left over for MUs. Should I use them all on the Wasp M3 or MU the Freeze M3 some as well? My dream tank is Firebird M3 + Wasp M3 + Zeus, although I do like Freeze.

Use the speed to your advantage Run circles around your enemies, wreaking havoc. Focus on throwing your enemies into confusion and take the flag (if you are in CTF).

Yes but remember that Firebird has a very limited range and has the slowest reload time of all the spray weapons. There are plenty of problems with other turrets. Vulcan and Twins have way too much impact force (at the M1 level they throw around my Hunter M2 like a tennis ball), Smoky has a really fast reload time combined with a long range and fairly good damage, Thunder can oftentimes shoot through walls and buildings in the game (I am not sure if this is a hack or not).

Really? It has one of the best reload times of any short-range turret and high damage too.

The money is intended for those few who are addicted to the game. It is a clever way to trap children (and some adults) in the game. My guess is that addicted children will ask their parents about it. This helps furnish TO's income. To answer your later remark, chess CAN be played by children. I've seen many a child play the game and play it well. Lastly, it is not the children who are ruining Tanki, it is the adults who can buy crystals and premium account themselves and who (some do, I know) stalk kids online. I hope you share my deep concerns for this matter.

Buying crystals in the first place is completely unnecessary. As long as you don't waste your crystals you can get a good tank combo. I got my Firewall Kit without buying any crystals or premium account at all in the game.

MUs are actually worth it as long as you are only MUing your favorite turrets/hulls that you use very often. I did this for my Firebird M2, Freeze M2, Wasp M1, and Hunter M2. Buying crystals is also not necessary to do extremely well. For example, I fully MUd my Firebird M1 by Third Lieutenant, MUd my Wasp M1 31 times, and got Firewall Kit as a First Lieutenant early on. I did all this by specializing in a combo and making good economical decisions.

Not so for the experienced Wasp users. I still use Firebird + Wasp as a major combo and I get tons of crystals and XP even with the "disadvantage". In some battles I get XP and crystals even faster with this combo than with my Firebird M2 + Hunter M2.
