Wasp M4 has more protection than Hornet M3. :) But most people will not stick with Wasp that long. When I get Boreas Kit for myself and upgrade the Wasp M3 I will let you know how it compares to other M3 combos (I am a Wasp fan and have the most experience with that hull).

It gets even more fun at the M2 level. :)

I think Vulcan should be nerfed on impact force and Railgun should go because it is a lot weaker than Shaft for sniping (and is significantly harder to aim).

Lag is based on how good your computer is, not how good the server is.

You can last a lot longer than that if you play the light hulls well. Personally, as a Wasp fan, I prefer Hunter over Viking, because the Hunter is way faster and works better with my Firebird M2 for offence. For my strong medium tank I use Firebird M2 + Hunter M2, but I also often use Firebird M2 + Wasp M1 and Freeze M2 + Wasp M1 for CTF battles where my teammates all have poor tanks for capturing flags.

Firebird M2 is a good option if you like short-range turrets and is an excellent piece of equipment at Major.

That is a very arrogant thing to say (I hope I am not angering too many people here). No one is always right. ALL guns, if used correctly, are equally good. I think the short-range weapons are every bit as pro as the long-range turrets. If you have used Firebird + Wasp as much as I have (I doubt most of you have), you will realize that using Wasp (the most ridiculed hull) and Firebird (one of the most ridiculed turrets) requires far more skill to use well than many of you have thought. The same is true for the other turrets. Does this make "pro" turrets like Railgun not good? Of course not! In Tanki there is a need for every turret. It all depends on what kind of battle you are fighting in.

I still use Freeze M2 sometimes, even though I now have a good Firebird M2 (from Firewall Kit). If you wish to continue using Freeze M2, you will want to MU it some (I MUd mine 14 times and it is almost the equivalent of Firebird M2, only it doesn't have burning time but it does have a much better reload time). Regardless I found that in some cases it can outperform Firebird M2 in DMs (because other tankers can't take advantage of the Firebird's burning time to steal kills and it is useful in CTFs as a sort of defender/chaser (it can sit on the flag and freeze enemies or it can be equipped with a Wasp and chase enemy tanks down). I prefer to use Freeze M2 with my Wasp M1 in some DMs. In other battles I just use Firebird M2 + Wasp M1 or Firebird M2 + Hunter M2.

I'm very happy with my progress towards Boreas Kit. :) I already have 116K crystals and still have a ways to go just to promote to Major. Currently I am using Firewall Kit and I must say, it is a great combo. I can even compete with Brigadier Generals and Colonels in battle well! Below is the list of kits I intend (or am considering) to get. 1. Ant Kit (if I don't think I'll have enough for Boreas) (Isida M3, Wasp M2, Irbis) 2. Boreas Kit (Freeze M3, Wasp M3, Taiga) 3. Prometheus Kit (Firebird M3, Hunter M3, Zeus) My dream tank is Firebird M3 + Wasp M3 + Zeus, with all parts being fully MUd.

That's the combo I regularly use, although I also frequently use Firebird + Hunter. And I do rarely turn my turret because its rotation speed is so fast (it's an upgraded M2).

That is true. However, I think Freeze is better for DMs because of the superior reload time and the fact that it is harder to steal kills from it because it doesn't have burning time.

They shouldn't if the price will remain the same. Don't forget that although Firebird M3 is better than Freeze in many ways, it also costs way more. Firebird is the most expensive turret in the game at the M3 level.

It doesn't take that long for people like me who use it all the time. This is one good strategy that I use. Wasp is only good for those who can make use of the speed. Otherwise, you should use Hornet instead.

I'd prefer everything to be upgraded at once. It simplifies things a lot.

I used to fire only if fired upon, but found out that it is pointless since the tanks always drug and attack me. I have gotten two gold boxes in my entire Tanki career. The first came when I was a Sergeant-Major, and the second one came more recently when I was a First Lieutenant. I have learned that it is pointless to drug much even in the presence of gold boxes because I am unlikely going to get it and the costs of the drugs far outweigh how many gold boxes I get. Instead I use that time as an opportunity to kill a bunch of tanks with my Firebird M2 and increase my score, which gives me crystals.

All the hulls are modified based on their particular strengths. Wasp M4, for example, (only) has 180.0 protection, but maximum speed is 13.00. The main reason to get Wasp is for parkour or for making use of the extreme speed. Anyone else has no real reason to spend crystals on it. At least Wasp M4 has more protection than Hornet M3. :D
