    The MM just put me in a battle (queue time about 10sec), but the battle ended by reaching a score of 50 cp right in the very moment when I entered. The MM seems to pay more attention to the remaining battle time and less to the score itself. Especially in CP battles you can calculate how far you could turn the score in the last 2 minutes, assuming your team caps all points and the score keeps counting up. This could work as an indicator on how usefull it is to put players into an obviously won or obviously lost battle.

    About strange funds (sometimes total teams sum up crystals-to-xp ratio <1 for Legend ranks) One thing that was part of this update, was a claim that playing on certain maps does not give a crystal advantage. There were no details on how this is achieved, but I am pretty sure that on maps where the score grows slower the system will give more crystals - an maybe vice versa. This is an assumption, a possibility.. but a very likely one. So if you like to compare things, you would have to compare it a couple of times for the same map. I lack the time, but it would be interesting to go through the 80 pages of this thread and collect all "Legend only" battles per map and analyze those. Or simply wait for an vLog to explain details.. if they like to share them. But nethertheless, a crystals:xp ratio of <1 for the overall amount of all players in a map in Legend ranks seems more like a bug then a feature. Seems something is not yet tuned well - but ok, they said there will be changes to the crystal/map/xp stuff. anyways.. good luck in your battles BW

    Maybe you're right. I saw screens from CTFs where the winners did get a higher share compared to the loosers (winning team received players score x 1,55 in crystals, loosing team got players score x 1,25 in crystals) - it seems to work in other game modes.

    well, believe it or not: a few minutes ago the rain outside my window stopped, and the sun does come out and shines across some snow capped (!) mountains in it's last rays before sunset xD Did you ever thought of a career as fantasy author or as fortune teller? You got talent :p Back on topic: I doubt your part of the story where everyone get's happy. Matchmaking does take away the possibility to choose maps, and this was a well beloved feature of a big amount of players. I doubt that those are happy.

    I just played 3 battles and I have to say they were neat. Team balance was ok - not perfect, but ok. One time I thought we outrank those poor guys in the enemy team... and then they simply beat us 4:1 flag x) The 10min feels good.. enough to check out how your team works and to start to cooperate for a couple of flagruns, still short enough to not suffer endlessly if you're beaten hard. Also the druggers seemed to were distributed more or less evenly over the teams - makes sense, now as they can not choose their team and battle any more. As this thread has grown by +30 pages within a single day, I would say I was lucky with my battles. But.. I don't think so. Anyways.. 3 battles are not enough to judge some large change like MM. Let's see how it feels in the next weeks.

    1. please consider that the Tanki birthday - and most likely some sale - is approaching. 2. do not check the damage per shot, but the damage per minute / or per second. Sure Rico has stronger bullets, but Twins shot the twice as often (approximately). The main difference between Rico and Twins is less the damage.. it's more about the trade-off between usability at range (Rico) and uninterrupted shooting (Twins).

    I think it's mainly for simplification, but not because of mobile: today most average phones have a higher display resolution then an average laptop. Modules made sense back when the paints indicated the protections and since those are gone the modules made no more sense from the player point of view. So I do very much like the idea of the protection separation, and I think that it's one of the most useful change for most of the players (if it stays affordable). But I also do see the downsides. While I assume that owners of a decent garage will face only a very small change of their overall in-battle-power, the remaining in-material loss is still huge for some of them. Especially those players that have spent a LOT (time, money, both) in order to reach something special.. would now feel ripped off. No matter if they knew the EULA or not: knowing that you might loose something, does not reduce much of the impression of a loss when it finally happens. Tanki offers a refund in batteries.. which is actually way more then I'd have expected. Of course they can't give crystals.. this would mean far less monetary income in the next weeks -> especially critical with Tanki birthday and expected sales at the doorstep. But Tanki seems to miss that those batteries are free available items > something non-special. Therefore the trade feels off for many, as they loose something special and get refunded by something regular. Sorry for that.

    The last information (weeks ago) was, that in private battles the experience will grow, but very, very slow. This is done in order to enable rankups in private battles. My personal assumption is about +1xp per kill (instead of 10), but let's see.

    I'd like to see a reduction of the overall protection as well.. 50% render a lot of turrets practically useless. That's simply brilliant (and I hope that's the reason why they did not go for multiple presets right from the start). Of course I would like to have that feature for free.. but as more alternative ways of income Tanki can make possible, the less they will depend on drugs and such (Assumption -> from the non-free pro-battle-pass we can see, how much they still have to rely on drug revenue at the moment)

    blocking of MAC address is technically not possible; blocking of IP addresses is not useful. Please see the spoiler for more details. Therefore any action that's undertaken makes more sense of the base of an account, then on the base of an IP address. Beeing blocked for one day from the game is just the start. The more often you get caught, the more will the punishment be increased. The amount of continous growing punishment, makes people think and change their behaviour. But only if they get caught.. which is actually the tricky thing about it. Technically you can do a lot of freaking stuff today to find cheaters and lock up their accounts with a high hit-rate.. but the really effective things cost more then Tanki could afford.

    If the health of all players is x5 or x10, it's not harder, nor easier. Just a bit more boring maybe. And the main tactics of DM (kill stealing) will become impossible, as you can't track the health of tanks if they stand 5 times the hits. @heal each other To "heal each other" means you play with an Isida in your mini-team. but what if... Actually I think it would be a great thing if you could heal your teammate with _any_ turret, simply by shooting at him. If you hit him, you would heal him with 50% of the damage that you would usually do; while an active DA supply will cut the healing in half. This would be something new, and would rise completely new tactics and gameplay scenarios.

    To play as a duo in an effective way, you would have to spawn close to each other. But it's kind of tricky if your partner dies, you die 15sec later (because you are alone) and right when you die your friend spawns where you just died.. right in the middle of the enemies. I do like the idea, and I think it would be better if you solve the issues that I've listed. Good luck!

    I did mean all self-hurting turrets (I wrote "and alike" .. which was obviously not perfectly clear). Magnum is a special case.. there are so many people complaining about it beeing overpowered.. idk what/if something will be done here anyways. On short range a good magnum user fires behind my hull anyways, so that I ge the full damage while he gets far less. Vulcans extended fire period (more active time for their turret) may cause a balance change. On the other hand some Vulcan players felt badly nerved.. and the number of Vulcans that I see truly dropped hard. Maybe this could give them a lifftle buff, without shortening their time-to-kill-someone. Sounds like a fair deal to me.

    They could also reduce the self-damage of thunder, Rico and alike to 70% (from now 100% damage). If you then apply a 35% protection module you are at about 50% again.. but only for the self-damage part of the balance.

    I doubt that this will get implemented.. but I think it would do good to the gameplay of the game. 25% purchased, upgraded to a max of 33..35% should be the highest possible protection IMHO. It must be so anoying for free players to enter battles with their two M3 turrets, and almost every player of the enemy team has 45%+ protection vs those turrets. The player can as well turn around and leave asap.

    While almost every single death is a sad thing, there are some factors that make a difference on how much those deaths effect certain people. People are more sad and effected if the dead people are perceived innocent then if the dead people are perceived somehow guilty People are more sad and effected if children die, then if older people die. People are more sad and effected if those deaths happen close to them (spacious proximity) People are more sad and effected if they feel somehow related to those dead people (from same nationality to being relatives) To react different is not hypocrisy, that's simply human nature. To care less for deaths 1000 km away is no emotional disability, but a "safe myself reaction" to the flood of bad news each and every day. If you like to discuss about human nature, about overshooting it into hyprocracy, and the grey shady area between those two positions, then start a dedicated topic in the offtopic to do so (and no, it wrong in the prayers topic, as this is only for respectful posts and condolences; and not for provocations or alike).

    While I have no idea and no influence about the decision process regarding the battle mod standards, it makes sense to me to remain very, very careful about giving power to people. I am aware that the situation now is "not good", but I fear by lowering the standards it will become even worse IMHO. Now: - very, very few complaints about battle mods abusing their power. - players mad about cheaters as only few can be caught. With lower standards for battle mods: - more complaints about battle mods abusing their power - people still mad about cheaters as even doubling the battle mods provides not even nearly full coverage of the battles (If the number of monitored battles would increase from 3% to 6% the players would not even notice the change (random figures!)). By lowering the standards, Tanki could only loose.

    on Windows: If you like to compare two turrets, you can open your browser twice, open turret A in the first browser and turretB in the second, and then arrange one window next to each other. Not the best, but better then nothing ;)

    I doubt that as well. All parameters that are the same to all equipment are not needed at all (like the constant value of gravity in normal battles). But here we have something that sets a hornet apart from a Wasp; that sets a Viking appart from a Hunter. Up to a few days ago I was able to tell which tank is more stable under fire, just by reading the parameters. I was able to tell which tank turns faster, and which one accelerates better. Now there is a difference that the people can feel.. but it's not documented. There is no need for dozens of hidden parameters. But there is a need to display the difference of those hulls to the player

    If internal parameters have changed, which the players can not see in the wiki... then do we have an issue there? I thought the main purpose of the wiki is to give details that help players to understand the game and decide for their equipment. hmm.. sad thing.
