    I don't know the figure, but you can expect the figures in the wiki within a few days (usually). To me the change was noticeable at my M3+ (+14MUs or alike). The aiming mode makes a bit more sense now. Also the higher starting speed of the rockets shortens the acceleration period of arcade shots, so that the hit rate increased with less need to lead the shots (you still need to lead them ahead, but not as much as before). Overall the efficiency of the turret has definitely increased. While they did not solve the anoying parts, at least the non-anoying parts are more effective now. (typical tanki.. instead of solving the annoyance they try to tweak all other stuff, but leave the basic reason for the annoyance in the game :P)

    Which programming language(s) do you know?

    Hmm... x86 Assembler, SQL, VBA, delphi/pascal, C, C++,.. I think that's more or less it. I also used a whole bunch of script languages over the times, the latest one was AHK. My most favourite one is NT (which is an abbreviation of "native talk"). Although it has risen from security applications, it's fundamental concepts were flexible enough to allow it to be developed not only to be used for automatisation, but also for conceptual problem description. So it is in fact a mixture of a programming language and a descriptional language. It is well suited for problems that are typically related to automatization (think of what you would use robots for.. especially suitable for autonomous/independet, medium sized mobile platforms. Those are typically equipped with an autonomous decision system (something like a KI), and by the use of NT you can tell that decision system what to do, while it still can use it's own, individual experience (yes, those decision system can learn.. really amazing stuff). While the capabilities of NT are amazingly open, the programs can be crafted with simple means like smartphones. An example of NT is given in the spoiler

(ps: The colors are not needed in the battle list, they just aid the understanding of the basic idea..)

    AFAIK the aim of protections (paints in the past, modules nowadays) was and is to add more variety to the game. Without protections there would be only a hand full of turrets that are definitely the best for a the combination of [map + personal playing style]. So if there would be no protection, you could go to a map and find maybe 2..3 different turrets equipped on all tanks through out both teams. On another map there would be different turrets that work best - so you would find 1..4 main turrets on the other map. A system that offers protection vs. turrets makes the turret users rethink their choice, and so more turrets come into action on each map. I like your proposal with 4x35%max. IMHO (no official statement) the +100% philosophy in this game (+100% more damage, DP offers +100% more survival time, fully MU'd protection offers +100% more survival time, repair kit (better already), ...) is the main issue, that kills balance and tactics. Why should someone use tactics, if he can bomb his way through with the help of a supply box, an overdrive and two more supplies later on?

    I just saw that Striker's rockets will be buffed via a higher starting speed (and better angular speed, so they will target better in homing mode). I would like the proximity thing more, as the shots where 1) you aim at a viking 2) your auto aim makes the shot go for the enemies turret 3) viking moves 1 meter 4) your rocket flies right over his hull, right next to his turret ..are the thing that makes it annoying. But at least, the Viking was happy :) (and the change was easier. honestly I am happy that they do something about Striker.. even if it's not perfect )

    the Friendlist changes and the waiting time improvement are very, very welcome! Overall it sounds to me like "more good then bad" this time :) This one is a fail IMHO: Result: - the maps will be mixed up completely The players complaint about - "display the map name" -> was about -> "make it easier for me to find the maps which I like to play in" Now the name of the map is given, but it actually became _harder_ to check out the battles on our favourite maps, as they become sorted by time. A selectable sorting criteria (sort by map name, sort by battle starting time, ..) would help.

    yep. I think the proximity trigger would be even a better balance then a damage increase.. if the damage would be increased further, the salvo mode would be a true pain (as the increase comes in 4 times) - and I did not consider drugs when I proposed the damage change. So I think the proximity trigger would work fine. I would not even decrease some other stat in trade for a proximity trigger.. I would leave the rest of the turret "as is". I think a proximity trigger mechanism with such a short range of 1m (only triggered by enemies of course) only levels striker a fit closer to the other turrets, not overdoing it. About 20 posts were hidden by a mod (not me) for "being off-topic". As far as I could judge by myself, the conversation turned into personal pit fighting, away from the topic. Your first hidden post was part of that "side discussion", so it was hidden as well.

    Thanks, but no reason to.. there are a lot of tankers thinking about Viking and Hunter like that.. but not all of course as some simply like the drift that was given to the Viking. But in terms of stability and agility (acceleration, ability to dodge and trick others) a Hunter is a step ahead of Viking. On a alternative account of mine, which I use to practice with striker, I switched from Wasp to Hunter a few days ago. It somehow worked better.. even if I do miss the Wasps drive. But however > back on topic > I never really understood, why a turret that can so easily miss a target (harder to aim then with Twins) does not have at least more damage.. or a proximity-trigger in the rockets, that make the (arcade mode) rockets explode if they pass within 1..1,5m distance to an enemy tank. Given that a wasp is 5m long, this would not be that much of a bonus.. but this change alone would possibly move Striker out of the shadows, by simply making the targetin easier. Not very, very easy.. still far from that.. but simply those few percent easier that allows players to miss far less on mid ranges.

    I wonder if they ever manage to balance viking and hunter. There was always one better then the other (and today it's Hunter since they practically exchanged Hunter's and Viking's features a few years ago..)

    I recently looked at the Vulcan page to read the latest stats, and I found something that must be very confusing for newbies: There is this line with the 5 pictures of vulcan (M0, M1, M2, M3 and M3 XT) and right below is the table with stats that tells the players that there are obviously 5 types of Vulcan out there (M0, M1, M2, M3 and M3+) So it's pretty easy to link the M3+ stats to the M3 XT picture.. which seems to be an obvious conclusion, but a wrong one. I have no better layout to propose to you at my hands, but maybe someone else is more creative then me when it comes to page layouts. I think the problem arises only from the fact that the XT is depicted in the same line as the other M levels. It matches the table so great this way..

    Hmm... I think I played xp/bp with you a couple of times on another account of mine a few years ago. You won most of the time, but I still enjoyed the games :) You're right about the protection system.. the former method via R or V was not perfect.. but the new one is - sadly true - far less useful. The good thing is that this system is rather new and as for each new update tanki collects feedback about it. I hope they change something about this one. A display of all player's turret & protections in the TAB-statistics window (those are just 4 pictograms next to each other) would be another very helpful alternative.

    Today a firebird on DP kills a light hull in no time. If you like to make a balance change to Fire/Freeze and Vulcan in correlation with the hull size, then please think about this one: 1) light hulls should cool down faster then heavy hulls Like burning time on heavy hulls = 100%, on medium hulls = 70%, on light hulls = 50%. Positive results: - Firebirds will not eat through light tanks like cookie monster through cookies - vulcan would do more DPS/DPM on a light hull then on a heavy, but it would still die easier 2) Freeze: time to freeze should get shorter the higher the M-level is. Freeze is OP in low ranks and not so good in high ranks, as the tank speeds increase in high ranks. 3) Freeze teams -vs- Juggernaut: cancel the cummulative effect of temperature decrease. So if one Freezer attacks JGN it takes a certain time to slow the JGN down. If two freezers freeze a Juggernaugt, the time to slow it down should be the same(!)

    Maybe I can cheer your up by telling you, that less experience points are actually a good thing. So in the end you will have more crystals to spend on your gear, once you reach the M3 ranks. And as there most of them use M4 anyways.. you can use every single crystal you can get your hands on. It does make sense to collect complaints here in one point, to save time to those who evaluate the complaints. If those people like Nives, Hazes, .. would have to search through out the whole forum to get an idea about the main pain points, it would waste a lot of time. Anyways.. sorry for the other inconvinience you face - this also goes out to the other players which received no answer (or notice) by now. A lot of your complaints make very much sense, and effect a lot of players that do not come here and post. So I hope they find some open ears (and some development time). At least once the holiday season is over and more people are available at work again.

    I like the menu extension that allows us to vote players. IMHO a very simple explanations on what behaviour can be reported and which not, is needed (even more simple then in the example given).   21. In the past the winning team tended to stay in the battle, and if they were lucky they could have another round with a big chunk of their former team. Playing with the same people on your team multiple times, brings you into simmilar situations, and from those you can learn what works and what doesn't. So while in the past you had a chance to get to know how the 2..3 lead players of a battle act, watch them, think of how to support then in attacks and defense - you now have only 10min snapshots with different players over and over again.
  22. Have I understood this correctly: this is pure cosmetics, isn't it? I prefer to know how much hp I loose, instead of a temp scale that has no meaning to me (how much harm do I receive if my tank has 250°C? )
