I only play my alt acct now and it uses Firebird. Is the High Pressure Pump worth 20K crystals at rank 10 (1 rank below WO1)? Does it increase Firebird's deadliness?

Good advice. I have been looking forward to buying Tiaga since M1 but after the Viking/Hunter swap and the new Twins nerf, if I were to buy a Twins M3 it would be with Hunter. Viking gets knocked off aim too easily and pre-nerf that didn't matter so much since you could chase your enemy down. Now you have to be more stationary and be able to lead your shots more...so you need the more stable hull. In fact, the Titan/Twins kit might be a good option for the way Twins perform now.

Huh?

This is the stupidest thing I saw in Tanki today. Get a proof reader Tanki...gosh.
-
Get a proof reader PLEASE! Come on, you are dealing with tens of thousands of English speakers. Hire an English speaking proof reader. I can understand a mistake slipping through in a notice once in awhile, but there is just no excuse for goofy, poorly worded messages in your static FAQ, Wiki, or product descriptions. Take some pride in what you do.

"We're sorry" So very very true about the new TankiOnline.

So basically, for most players, they cut in-game income by about 55% to 60%...and multiplied the "work-load" about three or four times. I now get 2 containers one week, then 3 containers the next week. So 5 in two weeks vs previously, 8 in two weeks. The other loss of income is in the new weekly containers. Previously one full set each week, now 33% one week and 33% the second week. The floater is an occasional extra 33% about once a month so it doesn't affect the total much. So for weeklies it is 66% vs previously 200% every two weeks. Previously you could skate on 14 missions in 2 weeks and get paid. Now it is a minimum of 20 in two weeks. So about 28% more missions. Honestly, I don't see that daily rewards have increased overall. They seem about the same to me with a few now and then being larger, but ALL requiring more effort...lots more effort. So conservatively...55% less income for 3X the effort...very discouraging. It is possible to generate higher income per week, but obviously there is a lot more time that needs to be dedicated to do it.

I don't think French is an excuse, well, maybe. And, yeah, I'm sure they meant it as a play on words in media gangsta speak....as in, 'Sup mama? I wanna be...I wanna be wit chu all night long at ma crib 'n we be knockin boots. The pun just cracks me up.

A unconventional blast from the past...as fresh today as it was 40 years ago. A pretty good cover version I found on YouTube. It has better fidelity and is punchy, but still doesn't ram the power of Patti Smith. Try to hear Patti Smith Group with this sound quality...pretty dynamic stuff. At least these folks covering this tune seem to "get it". There are lots of instrument garfs and mistakes floating all over the place and the whole thing is WAY far from tight, but it has emotion and conjures images of the original's power.

I never heard this song before and it is pretty good overall. BUT, one of those lines is cheesier than a double cheese quattro formaggi pizza. "Just wanna be, Just wanna bewitch you all night" This has to take close to top awards for the cheesiest lyric used in a song...EVER. Lordy! How can they sing that with a straight face! LOL OMG...ROTFL, chortle, chortle...priceless.

I'm quoting myself again. I am pretty sure this was just a glitch or my mistake. I looked at a different account and it didn't work this way. So what I said is incorrect. I'm pretty sure whatever you do gets carried over and even if you have 0 on your 20, the next mission you do makes it 1/20 I was correct about the system being awful, and certainly MM is a colossal failure in terms of game-play enjoyment. Both travesties...at least the devs are consistent..

I just discovered somthing that seems very unfair. If you only complete 9 missions in one week, the next week you start the 20 segment at ZERO. end week1 9/10 9/20 beginning week2 9/10 0/20 Why do you lose the nine missions you did from the week before? In essence you are going to do 29 missions to clear the 0/20...if you do more than 9 in week2. This system is as awful as Matchmaking itself...well, maybe not quite that bad.

This is my favorite Brian Ferry song. What a great groove.
-
These songs have put me in mind of this for some reason...especially The Passions piece.
-
Wow, it's not even Christmas. What a great song. I never heard this before...it's really good. It also fits so well with the previous post by babyofRosemarysbaby. Thank you for the turn on. Just like the sng itself says, "It really moved me" :)

FKA twigs - Pendulum This is pretty amazing besides being avant garde. What a dynamic artist...wow. I listened and watched a few more vids by this girl...holy moley. She is so graceful...obviously a master of dance I really like this video which makes me a tad uncormfortable Kilo Kish - Navy So good. What a great direction for R&B...even though this could agruably be acid-jazz. Whatever it is I really like it. Thanks for the introduction. SZA - Drew Barrymore Maybe not as shockingly creative as the first two, but still very very good. What great articlation and so well sung...she creates lots of pulse like I was refering to in my Ceu post. It is so good to hear pop R&B music start to have diversity and segments within the songs...real music...not just the spoken word over the same menotonous groove. Imogen Heap - Canvas I heard some of Imogen Heap in the late 90's but never followed up with her. Seems like a big mistake. This song is lovely. This song has a very Celtic feel, but doesn't have the New Agey bent that so much Celt stuff seems to have...I like it a lot. The Weeknd - Rolling Stone I've heard it before, but never really listened to it, but with your recomndation I took some time with this song and really like it. I still don't know what th lyrics are about, but I like his delivery and the studio magic they do with his voice. Great production work with such a seemily simple arrangement. The acoustic guitar is so effective playing against his vocals. Thank you so much for all of these...it's like a cyber-gift, and it's not even my B-Day :) ===================================================== I've been listening and watching every video I can find for FKA twigs. This is some next level sh*t. I feel like I took a very sizable hit of needlepoint and started watching videos. Are these real or just the chemical? But there is no chemical enhancement, so it must be real. Where does she come up with this stuff...amazing, superb, truly extraordinary. Dance art...Visual Video art...Music art...Sexual art. This is so out there creative...I am stunned. I am also somehow reminded of Prince when I first heard him back in the day, but this is so much more intense.

ROTFL...I just had a funny thought as I read this. I am really looking forward the the next update...never happened before. I have always dreaded any time Tanki mentions update because they are always so terrible and damage the game so badly...for two years I have dreaded the word "update"....always bad. Now I want an update, any update, because they just can't possibly make it worse! Anything will be an improvement.
-
It's pretty obvious that Tanki management is incompetent. Your observation about rapid turn over is another piece of evidence. I would guess they are pretty disorganized and not a very good company to work for. Any company that has so little regard for their customers probably has very little respect or regard for their employees. One of the worst part about capitalism.
-
I always felt they were one of the first in a long line of bands heavily influenced by Linkin Park. Actually, I don't know much about the rest of their work other than this song...I listened to their second album and, except for this one song, it left me pretty cold.
-
What a shame, but even in the video you posted he was seeming like old age had it's cold and icy grip upon him already. Roy Clark playing with one of the best guitarists EVER. Chet Atkins...both arch-muscians. And a little Roy Clark solo. I really like his bluegrass fiddle (1:30). I was really young, but I remember watching this guy on TV...he always seemed like a very nice kind person.

Ceu is really a great singer. She has true muscianship and uses her voice like an instrument. What she does here is amazing to me. A very simple arrangement with no studio tricks or tweaks (maybe some tweaks, I can't really tell for sure, but very subtle if there are). What she does here with her voice and articulation are what bass players refer to as "pulse". It s a rare thing for any singer to be able to do, especially now-a-days in the auto-tune era. She also does it so effortlessly that the difficulty and artistry level kinda slips right past you and it just seems as though she is just la-de-da-ing. It's lovely to relax and hear a major talent sing so expressively and musically like this. The percussionist is also a low-key star...he is playing like three or four different parts at once.

I already quit with this account, jut too much greif and everything relying on sheer dumb luck. The game in the higher ranks (maybe not M4 land) has just turned to luck mush. IF you get put on the winning team..IF you get a do-able mission...IF the rank brackets don't place you seven ranks below everyone else...IF the game doesn't crash...IF you don't lose 75% of your team as the game plays out....IF you are using suitable equipment for the map you are tossed into...IF you are tossed into a full game instead of the last two minutes...IF you are not pitted against Big Bickie Barry the Big Bucks Buyer...If the opposition doesn't have maniac druggers all replete with drones...IF...IF...IF. It has turned into 50% luck 40% equipment and 10% skill. I liked it much better when it was 70% skill, 20% equipment, and 10% luck. I still play Tanki, but in lower ranks. I have found the missions get ridiculous at rank 10. At rank 9 and below the missions are pretty easy to do and generate enough income to stay competitive...maybe even excel if you hit a lucky container. I just started a newbie account and will discar it at level 10...I'm trying to get better with a RailGun in my newbie acct. =============================== After I wrote this I went back and played a couple of battles with a higher ranked acct. I haven't played in a few days. This game is gone. It's not even close to fun. I played because I was in the habit of playing. The game is broken. It's to ADHD oriented and too much luck. I want to live long enough to make some sort of strategy, get to know my team and the opponents strengths and weaknesses. Tanki will not die because of promotions, mobile, 9 year old appeal, and whatever little trick they pull out of their hat, but the game is trash now. It's a child's game only....their is not enough time in the upper ranks to even consider waht to do in a battle, all you can do is spawn in with guns blazing. The lower ranks are still kind of fun since they are a bit slower but even those are marginal. AND, what is the point of working with a lower rank account if it is just going to turn into crap battles eventually? I would guess my days with Tanki are numbered...what a shame to have lost omething that used to be so much fun.

kinda Epica-ish Omnimar Therion Within Temptation Nightwish ...a little crunchier but kinda in the same goth vein Evanescence Flyleaf ....old school rock chics Lita Ford Warlock ...Doro's first band ...she has the growl Arch Enemy I got nothin' for Russian military choirs other than standard classical stuff and there are tons and tons of that kind of music. I like lots of stuff by Prokofiev much better, but is this kinda what you are looking for?
-
I kinda doubt anyone will like this...it's brilliant, but instrumental, and, euwwwww, jazz. Kinda avant garde big band jazz at that. I saw charts to this when I was a kid and the time signatures are the stuff of nightmares...like two bars of 7/2 with a counterpuntal segment of 4 bars of 33/16. Signatures that don't even seem possible, but all playing together and somehow working. There is no way I could figure it out...I have no idea how the band can do it...craftsmanship I guess.
