OK, thanks...I'm trying it out with this post. Oh yeah! Works well :)

Changes in battles & Massacre map

I think one of the map problems is that all the maps have become more or less the same. Previously there was a large difference between the individual maps. To accommodate MM most of these maps underwent alterations that made them more like each other. The lack of variation makes playing on these 30 different maps feel as though you have been playing on the same map over and over. I concede the point that 30 maps should be enough...and they would be if they had their original variations, but they don't. Plus MM has a tendency to reuse the exact same map over and over on any particular day. You complete a TDM on Yorkshire, choose TDM again for your finish 7 mission, and most of the time you go straight back to Yorkshire. MM and the updates made to accommodate MM have made Tanki less diverse and frequently boring. Now Massacre has joined the homogenized ranks of insipid repetitive and monotonous maps suitable for MM.

I don't think most people have a secret or even hidden agenda. Most people are honest. And I honestly believe you either make up stuff to justify Tanki's consistent degradation of the game, or you have the selective memory which makes you see the current situation in Tanki through rose colored glasses. It all boils down to the problem that Tanki is not as much fun as it used to be before MM. MM and all changes in the game to accommodate MM have pretty much ruined the game. I would like to see Tanki flourish by being fun again. The road Tanki is tanking now will eventually be it's undoing in my opinion.

You are mistaken and exaggerating to fit your and the party line agenda.

I never only found five maps...there were many. There were even way more than five very popular maps...how can your memory be so distorted? It was not a restrictive choice...and now, with MM, there is NO CHOICE at all.

February Challenge — Railgun LGC Skin

I find the rewards for this second set of Challenges is very underwhelming...especially at the beginning stages...muhhh. The first container is at stage 10. In the last set of Challenges we had three containers by stage 10. For me, this reward schedule is not motivating at all, like, I probably won't even pay attention to how many stars I have and what the next reward will be. I certainly won't bother giving battles that extra push to generate another star. Beef up the quality of rewards for the next set of Challenges please.

February Challenge — Railgun LGC Skin

It's kind of like a headline in an archaic newspaper. For me, since there is not too much volume to read, it is not much help. It might be good for those that speak another language and reading English is more difficult.

Changes in battles & Massacre map

Hey there moderator folk...something to pass on to the writting staff: Frag still has some pretty foul connotations. You could use "snuff" or even "murder", but you realize these terms are too strong and could be found by many to be somewhat offensive. Frag is definitely not as benign as "kill" and certainly no where near as non-offensive as destroy. To frag someone is a reprehensible act of traitorous murder...you fragged an officer that would consistently put you and your squad in harms way needlessly during the Vietnam War. ...mutiny but with murderous ends. I really don't think this particular word is appropriate for a video game...especially a video game that considers a word as insipid as "stupid" a term that needs to be censored out of in-game chat. I do acknowledge that language changes over time and what was offensive in decades past takes on different connotations in modern speech, but I really don't think "frag" has gotten there yet. At best it is just pop-slang and not part of the legitimate English lexicon. TDM: 70 frags instead of 100; JGR: 50 frags instead of 100; ASL: 70 points instead of 100; DM: 30 frags instead of 50; CP: 30 points instead of 50; CTF: 5 flags instead of 7; RGB: 5 goals instead of 7.

Yet another map that had individuality becomes exactly like all the other maps...too bad, the homogenization continues.

    Let's Discuss Ricochet!

This was in the very low ranks...wielded by a Warrant 1 (rank11), so if he had this drone at that rank it still had to be some sort of actual hack since Booster Drone is not available until Brigadier (rank23)

    Let's Discuss Ricochet!

No, this guy was consistently slaughtering everyone the same way all the time...one shot and you're dead...I was hoping it might be an alt because I wanted one too :) bloody deadly thing. But, with your reply, I'm pretty sure it was some sort of new (at least to me) hack. I sure hope thi shack doesn't get out into the general public, it's a game wrecker.

    Let's Discuss Ricochet!

I was just in a battle with a rank 11 (Warrant 1) M1 Rico/Viking. I'm sure he was fully MUed to 10 so he was a virtual M2 and he was always max drugs...so double damage all the time. I was using an M1 Viking MU7 and even with a double armor he was one shoting me (and everyone else too) every time...even when I was full health and had just spawned in.. Any idea which alteration he might have been using or was his massive destructive power some sort of hack. I've never seen this kind of killing power from a Rico at any level.

    Important changes to the game

I think many people are missing a big point about the new container situation. After about Marshal rank, players do very well in terms of crystals from weekly containers...probably as well or even better than previously with regular containers. It's the lower ranks that this recent update impacts the most, especially if you are a casual player. There are just not anywhere as many crystals from weekly container, even doubled, as from regular containers. In the long run this might actually be a good thing though since now, in the lower ranks, EVERYONE can buy kits and fully MU them in a few weeks. Previously a fully MUed M1 or even M2 was rare...now it is the majority. It will be rough in the transition eriod, but eventually this update may actually help the game.

    Important changes to the game

I don't care much about this update because I am caring less and less about Tanki. I haven't used this acct for anything other than the forum in months because the missions became too much of a tedious grind. Tanki has become a time killer time of game like solitaire not a game to invest money or even time in. Now there is very little motivation to play even an alt account. I may wait a week or so, create a new account, and start from zero again. At least there will be less fully MUed M0s and M1s. It remains to be seen if I will bother to play Tanki much anymore or not. What a sad sad waste of a previously wonderful game.

    Important changes to the game

It may be in the EULA, but that does not make it right or even ethical...it just keeps Tanki from being sued. With almost all business models, when a customer makes a purchase there is an implied understanding that the customer will get what they are buying. In Tanki, what you buy has nothing to do with what you will end up owning in the future other than you know that it' parameters will be changed. A player buys, withreal money or in-game currency, what they feel is the best equipment for them in the game at one point in time. They spend their income to upgrade it and then Tanki makes that equipment virtually worthless, so you invest in something else and that goes to hell. It's legal because of the EULA like you say but it is inherently WRONG and borders on sinister. Things need to be updated and possibly re-balanced occasionally...but they do not need to be in a constant state of flux and arbitrarily nerfed, buffed, nerfed, buffed. Actual balance has absolutely NOTHING to do with it. It is a money grab plain and simple. The players buy, Tanki changes and forces different purchases...constantly. Tanki is a callous and unethical business.

    Important changes to the game

I'm not forgetting that at all. The weekly containers have mostly drugs and a very small amount of crystals...especially at low ranks. One regular container with 3500 crystals more than outweighs a couple of weekly containers. And if you ever do get a 10,000 crystal container, that outstrips many many weekly containers..even weekly containers doubled. Then if you do get lucky, and get 25,000 or 100,000 or the glory and the dream 300,000 or even 1,000,000 crystals they outweigh double weeklies for months and months if not years. Even the 3 or 10 days of Premium dwarfs the weekly containers. And, obviously, the fewer regular containers you generate the more limited your chances of hitting any big reward. I found that saving regular containers up to 10 or even 12 pretty much assured me of getting some valuable reward. But now that is going to take a couple of MONTHS of grinding missions. I've already stopped using this acct because of the amount of effort needed to complete missions. I use a low level account under rank10 because I can complete missions easier so I can generate enough income to be competitive, but now that will be slowe or even stopped.

    Important changes to the game

Tanki dramatically cuts player's income yet again...for most, by way more than half. Now even a dedicated player that completes all missions every week will generate substantially less income. But most players DON'T complete all the missions, especially the evil "Floater" mission. Let's look at period of two weeks for a hypothetical casual player in three different systems of missions: Before this upcoming update: yield 7 containers week1 10/10 and 10/20 (ten missions completed) = 2 containers week2 10/10 and 20/20 (ten missions completed) = 5 containers After this upcoming update: yield 3 containers week1 10/10 and 10/20 (ten missions completed) = 1 container week2 10/10 and 20/20 (ten missions completed) = 2 containers Older system before the split missions (after ten weeks): yield 8 containers week1 at least one mission completed every day (7 missions completed) = 4 containers week2 at least one mission completed every day (7 missions completed) = 4 containers Wow!...from 7 or 8 dropped down to 3...that is dramatic! OK, now and then a player will complete the floater mission and one more container is added, but we all know how often we complete a floater. Another major decrease in game income...MAJOR.

Why do you still play Tanki

This question has been bothering me. In the poll, I voted for "hope it will get better", but I know that will never happen based on what Tanki has done to the game in the last couple of years. "Habit" and familiarity have something to do with it, but I think I know the real reason I still play (not with this acct...too high a rank and battles are boring) I just played in a battle that was FUN! That's right FUN!...in Tanki, yep. Not just a grind, not just to finish off boring missions so I can compete economically with the buyers, but FUN! It almost never happens any more with the all the lopsided battles, the new legion of mission mults, the total lack of teamwork and community, the ridiculous rank bracket spread, the waiting in queue for DM matches, MM squirting you into the last two minutes of a battle, the, well you know what Tanki is like now, I need not belabor the sadness and flaws of Neo-Tanki. Anyway, once in a while, there is still a good battle. You get in on the start, there are only three or four ranks, and all the players are trying to win. It's really FUN! That is why I still play Tanki, because occasionally it is still fun. The absolute tragedy is that Tanki used to be fun all the time in the days before MatchMaking (The Paint Separation update was actually the beginning of the end of good Tanki even though that update was not bad in itself, it marked the start of the downward spiral). We had lots of choice and control over almost everything...it was easy to find whatever kind of match you wanted...ease. challenge, just to finish a mission, teamwork, gain XP, or even grind for crystals...whatever you wanted. Once in awhile a player would put a mult on his opposing team but now there are way more passive mult-like players than there ever were. Now it is maybe 1 in 20 or 30 battles that is fun (maybe even as bad as 1 in 50). Previously it was more like 4 out or 5 battles were fun. That's why MM is so hated, it has taken Tanki from almost always being fun to being fun every once in awhile. And I still play Tanki for that one rare fun battle. And that is why MM is so obnoxious and toxic...it is what stopped Tanki from being fun except on a very rare occasion.

    Tanki in SEA?

nope...absolutely nothing. I've never seen one word written in chat, even from day one. I even started another acct. to see if there were any Recruits. If there are, there are not enough for MM to generate a battle for them. I'm interested in SEA server because I'm in SEA and my fps is incredibly good and movement is so silky smooth it is like a different game. I was playing with a friend and we got to do these 1vs1 games so I've spent some time on the servers...but now MM has locked the game up and anyone that does stumbles in on Tanki can't play because MM has to have 16 players all at one time to generate a battle. MatchMaking strikes again!

    Tanki in SEA?

Well, Tanki in SEA is completely 100% dead now. Previously there were almost no players, but now no one can even join a battle...literally no one. Previously you could join a battle in any mode and wait around to see if you got an opponent. Usually you never did, but it did happen occasionally. A friend and I would go to the SEA server and battle each other in 1vs1 duels since MM would allow you to join a battle without the 8 on each team situation. Now in Tanki's infinite wisdom, the "full team" 8vs8 mechanic is in place and zero matches are generated...literally zero matches throughout the day. The upshot of this is that it is now impossible for anyone to ever join a battle at any time in any mode on SEA servers because no battle ever gets created. What a waste. Way to go Tanki

    Tanki in SEA?

Tanki is Alternativa Platform not EA. Tanki wouldn't be as messed up if it were EA :) So I'm sure you know that SEA is Southeast Asia. Tanki has PlayPark, a Filipino gaming group like Steam or Mini Clip hosting TO. I don't think PlayPark is doing any promotion because there is no one using the servers. MatchMaking is keeping any potential players from playing since the player pool is so small. If players could see who was playing where and in what mode like you could before MatchMaking, Tanki would start to build a player base. As it is now, there are no players and likely to be no players,,,,it is an abject and complete failure.
