Three different scenarios...Previously I posted this as a question but now I have the answer by experimenting with my acct. Issimo was right! So, like they said in the V-Log, just keep slogging away at missions and they will take care of themselves. Also it looks as though the floater will not change until you complete it. I left one account with a weekly floater with no advancement (0/15) but I completed daily missions. The floater mission is still there glaring at the beginning of week2. So that means eventually everyone will get stuck with a really hard floater like 15 top 3 slots that just won't go away until you complete it or Tanki update the mission system (not impossible). You did 11 daily missions in Week1...so Week1 is 10/10 and 11/20. Does the first mission you do in Week2 count as 1/10 and 11/20 nope OR Does the first mission you do in Week2 count as 0/10 and 12/20 nope OR Does the first mission you do in Week2 count as 1/10 and 12/20 yep

I can't believe the number of players is going UP! Yesterday, for Halloween I saw around 42000 at peak...wow! That hasn't happened in a long time. Right now there are 28000 online and I actually saw 31000 about 20 minutes ago. It is usually about 21000 or 22000 at this peak tme of day/night. I don't get it...why? The game is getting much worse why would there be more players...maybe a Halloween hold over. With this new mission debacle, there will just have to be less players than before...16000 by mid Dec is my guess...barring any "events" to lure player numbers. We will see.

Three different scenarios...might a mod shed some light on this question with an official answer? You did 11 daily missions in Week1...so Week1 is 10/10 and 11/20. Thanks...had you not answered me I think I would have lost a couple of weekly 10/10s from my alt accounts...I didn't watch the newest V-Log until after I read your reply...thanks again for the info.

Oh boy..I foresee a BIG BIG stink coming. Mission rewards. The V-Log is saying claim as soon as you complete a mission. When you finish your 10/10, claim it and it will be replaced on day 8. It goes on to say that whatever progress you have made towards your 20/20 (lets say 14/20) will remain into the next week or even the flung future...OK, very clear so far. Here's the possible fly in the ointment. Does that mean we have to do the 2nd weeks 10/10 before we start to make progress again on the 20/20? If you have that 14/20 and you complete that new set of 10/10 (2nd week), will the 11th mission be recorded as 15/20 or will it just be a void mission until you complete 14 missions that 2nd week, then 1 more to make 15/20? This could be bad kids...very bad.
-
Weekly Missions 10/10 14/20 claim OK, how does this work? I claim my 10/10 and get the reward. Now do I get a new 0/10 mission for the next week or does it hold over until I boost the 14/20 to 20/20 and claim it? If it's claim 10/10 and get a new 0/10, does that mean you have to build up to another 10/10 to to start adding on to last weeks 14/20? Speculations? An authoritative answer from a mod? I am holding my completed 10/10 and not claiming it until I complete the 14/20...that seems the safest way, but I hope I don't lose out on a new 0/10.

Tanki doesn't want it to be fair...they want you to buy stuff like supplies. They changed how everyone plays over the last year...remember when you got called drugger when you popped a repair kit...even DD or DA got players in an uproar over the "drugger". Remember the unusual but annoying "drug war" occasionally? Now it is all the time in every battle in every mode at every rank. They changed how we play by flooding us with supplies...now they cut back on our supply of supplies. Well, to be fair they didn't really cut back, they just made it so most players won't generate the number of containers they used to which will cut the number of supplies and everyone will use lots more supplies to do all those new weekly missions. More usage, less supplies equals more players buying from the shop. They don't call supplies Drugs for nothing, and Tanki is the Drug Pusher.

I stopped playing on this account when they gutted Twins, I've been doing missions on lower alt accounts and it is just drudgery. The ODs, the drones, the mysterious alterations, the massive drugging, more and more rude "me only' player mentality, very difficult missions, dwindling supply stockpiles, Toxic matchmaking, no choice in maps, no choice in battle size, no choice in battle duration, confusion about equipment, low rewards for effort put in...I think my Tank days may be coming to a close. I have a couple of alt accts that have lots of crystals and I was saving for kits, but I don't know what to buy now and if I do decide on something Tanki will nerf the crap out of it and make it garbage anyway. I am very discouraged...Tanki has been a waste of my time since matchmaking but I kept hoping it would get better (the War was fun), but this round of updates just shows that the game has gone goofy and probably can't recover from silliness and poorly thought out changes. They will apply more and more band-aids, but I think the writing is on the wall...it's been there since MM, but I didn't really want to read it for what it actually is. Real Tanki is gone...MM really did kill it, this thing we have now is some poorly conceived half-wit cousin of Tanki more akin to TX. What a shame to have something fun ruined step by step like this.

Halloween and the 20X golds has basically cut me out of ever catching a gold. There are so many pro golddiggers in every single battle, I don't stand a chance. 20X gold sounds good, but the reality is it only benefits a few. I was really looking forward to Halloween, but this year's entire event STINKS. The only good part is missions are a bit easier to complete with double battle funds.

Get everyone used to using supplies all the time by giving out tons of free supplies over the past year...it's how we play Tanki now, 99% of us are heavy supply users at this point in time. The devs changed the habit of almost all players. Now, Tanki makes missions harder so players need to play much longer in order to complete missions...so they use up way more supplies than previously...way more supplies. Hoarded supplies will start to dwindle as daily missions don't replace the supplies used to complete the missions. Eventually a much larger percentage of players will start buying drugs from the shop since it is now an integral part of game-play. Supplies are not called DRUGS erroneously. And Tanki is the drug pusher.

wow, the different colors will go well with my GS score

Do you not see the antagonistic tone in your writing? You are like a troll-mod just trying to stir up a hornets nest. I like the music you post but you have a way of looking at this game through some sort of massive distortion filter. I have a challenge for you. Start a new account, don't fund it externally in any way, either by your mod perks or sending in cash.. Don't do daily missions and see how far you rise in rank before it becomes impossible to compete...regardless of your skill or competency. Buying MUs out of battle funds alone will not let you even get to M1 levels. You can do great in the first six or even seven ranks, but after that you can't afford to MU enough to be competitive against equipment...kits, heavy drugs, drones, etc. I tried this previously to see how far I could get and I made it to rank 11, but it was hell from about rank 9 onwards. It got just too frustrating and slow moving during rank 11. All I did was get killed. One entire 15 minute match would yeild just a few crystals, so I gave up and started doing missions. Missions are not a crutch or a bouy like you call it. They are an essential part of the game...they are the only way you can advance unless you send in cash. I'm sure you know this to be true, but you like to see the forum posters react and squirm to your silliness.
-
I think you are talking about some other game. In Tanki you MUST complete missions in order to generate enough income to stay competitive. Either that or send in cash to buy in-game currency to be competitive. Missions are NOT bonuses. They are the only way to generate any kind of substantial income to keep playing. If you do not MU equipment you can not generate income even from the paltry battle funds because all you do is get killed. Only in the lower M0 ranks can you play Tanki without income. Once you get into even M1 territory you are fighting against kits, lots of drugs, and drones. If you didn't do missions you would never be able to buy any kit and you wouldn't even be able to generate enough income to MU the turret and hull you have. I really hate it when you play the smarmy provocateur and barf out the party line that is so chocked full of tortured rationalization...but you spread it on like it is gospel. There is something terribly antagonistic and almost baiting your reader to react when you write these little party speeches.

Bad news, you are overestimating the weekly containers. All three of them put together will be just about equal to the previous weekly rewards that were just given automatically. The blue weekly containers are only a cosmetic device...they always have the same stuff, not a possibility of hitting it big. They are just a graphic interface for our previous rewards.so each one has about 1/3 of the previous weekly reward. Complete 10 dailys an get 33% of what you got for your normal weekly reward. 20 dailys and you get 66%. Complete the floater weekly and get about 100% of what you were getting every week if you were on your tenth week. Another big probelm arises in that you can't change the weekly floater so when you eventually get that "15 in the top 3" it's going to take the casual player a very long time to complete for 1/3 of a weekly reward and one container. We got a very big pay-cut unless you spend a lot of time playing Tanki...and if you do complete all the missions you are going to rank up very very quickly...maybe too quickly to keep up with MUs. My plan is to concentrate on one account, and try to complete the 20 daily missions in seven or eight days. I'm not even going to bother with the weekly floater mission. The 20 dailys will generate 5 real containers and 66% of the previous weekly pay-out. That extra fifth container might very well pay-out more over a period of time. But overall, we will have to play longer to get less income. Could it be that Tanki is trying to frustrate the players into sending in cash? Hummmmm. I think it will backfire on them at least in the West. I think many players will just quit because of the frustration level instead of paying cash to overcome the frustration...we shall see...
-
Yep...lower ranks get less. I got one in an alt account and it had a tad less than 1/3 of the previous weekly payout...so 3 of them would equal a bit less than the previous weekly reward. The three weekly containers PLUS the daily containers will be not less than the previous weekly payout. Basically. the blue weekly container is just a cosmetic device that will deliver the same stuff we used to get automatically with no graphics...if you complete all the daily and weekly missions. It is possible to do better than previously with this new mission system if you do all 20 daily missions in a week. Even without completing the weekly floater mission, you get 5 containers and 2/3 of your previous weekly payout...that extra container might pay off in something other than mines. And of course if you complete everything you are almost assured of getting a higher weekly payout with the 6 containers and standard 3 weekly containers.
-
The "15 top 3 slots" is horrible for sure, but even this weekly kill number is daunting...kill 500 enemies, damn son. And for 1 container and the semi-pointless weekly container. Kids, we just got a MAJOR pay cut. So freebie players make less income while buyers can acquire the new batch of drones, hoards of batteries, and the new expensive alterations. I foresee a large exodus of players as players stores of supplies start to run low or they can't keep up with MUs. Tanki has made the game even less freebie friendly and it will cost them players. Less freebie players, less targets for the buyers to shred. Less easy shredding for the buyers will eventually lead to even buyers quitting the game. Plus the game is much more complex in terms of what to buy (what equipment is most effective) and almost no freedom of how to actually play the game. I think the future looks pretty grim for Tanki.

I don't use this account any more since they nerfed the crap out of Twins, but in my alt account, I just completed a Weekly Mission and opened the blue weekly container. There was nothing fancy or even special about the contents. All the weekly container is is a small portion of the same stuff you got before automatically...the weekly speed, DD, DA, mines, batteries, repair kits, and crystals. What I opened was not even one third of the previous weekly rewards, so the three blue weekly containers in conjunction with the normal containers you earn based on rank will add up to not less than the previous weekly rewards. Most players are going to earn significantly less than they did previously if they were on week 10...the players that complete all 20 daily missions and the floating weekly mission will earn the same as they did on week 10 of the mission chain system....bummer...a pay cut. The blue weekly container is just a cosmetic device that delivers less rewards than we were given previously each week. Oh, and it may have just been bad luck, but I got dookie in the five normal containers I opened....250 mines, 125 DA, some amount of batteries (who cares) and some countries soccer paint. So, all in all a lot of work for zip.
-
I could be wrong, but i think that the time you are seeing is the amount of time until server reset when you get three more missions.
-
I do not agree that it is easier to understand...easier to understand if you understand it already maybe...the complexity is what makes it difficult to explain concisely and thus all the original confusion from the V-Log. Building from 0 to 9 is not a difficult concept and much easier to explain. Multi-leveled missions are a much more complex system. That being said, neither is really hard to grasp. Thank goodness that unfinished missions transfer. BUT, does that also mean that if you get a horribly hard weekly mission like 15 top 3 slots, it will NEVER go away until you complete 15 top threes. There is no choice to change a weekly mission.
-
Do the weekly containers (the new blue ones) have better rewards than the normal containers...maybe larger quantities?
-
In Neo-Tanki I never care what the daily reward is. I consider it trivial but completing the mission itself is the biggie since that is what generates containers. Easy of daily mission is what I hope for and 3 ODs is an easy one to claim...I'd love to get that daily mission...and really 17 DD is not too bad :)
-
The 2 battery mission is lame but I look at these lame rewards as just a segment of the weekly reward...the daily reward is pretty meaningless, especially if the mission is easy like this one you got. On the other hand 15 top 3s in a week is brutal...and, from what I understand, it can't be exchanged. That is a very difficult and way over the top mission.
-
If Nives information is correct, and the weekly mission rewards are cumulative and don't reset every week, this isn't really a bad update at all. It may take you two or three or even four weeks to get that 20 daily mission reward but you will eventually get it. And you will get the 10 daily mission rewards a couple of times and of course the missons themselves. Even hard missions will eventually get completed no matter how you pace yourself. If it takes you four or five days to complete a 5 battle mission, that's OK because you will eventually get it done and since there are increased rewards (containers), my guess is everything will probably work out to about the same as it is now even if you are a slow-poke like me. On the ohter hand, if Nives is wrong and the weekly missions reset every seven days, it is a disaster and the game is doomed...at least for me it is doomed as it will be almost impossible to generate enough in-game income to stay a viable contender.
-
Tanki needs to do something about the long waits to join DM matches. This new mission system doesn't really lend itself to avoiding DM so you devs nee to figure out a way to make the wait time less than 1 minute to enter a DM battle.
-
If this is true, and the 20 daily missions reward is cumulative, this update is not really bad at all and I retract anything negative I said previously. If it takes you 1 week to do 20 daily missions, great!...you generate income quickly. If it takes you 3 weeks to complete those same 20 daily missions you still get decent income...it just takes you longer so, overall, you won't get as much as some very motivated players, but you should be able to generate enough to stay in the game...and play at your own comfortable pace.
