    I don't use those...wish I had hammer or striker. I don't think I'd ever be good with magnum however. Some guys are dominating with it. Super skilled! My skills aren't quite there B)

    Thanks for the input. I really want the triple shot. But I am going to choose to continue to build a diverse garage to allow for flexible play and more fun longterm. Those 120k represent 3 m4 turrets for me:) Finally getting the last mu's on them!!! Been along while, but will have a very nice garage.

    Have you tried the triple arcade shot alt? Just curious. In close confines it would be very effective against light and medium hulls. Not many protections vs. shaft right now with all the more powerful alts on other turrets.

    It also doesn't reduce the impact force like the autocannon does... Autocannon Automated loading conveyor significantly increases the rate of fire. Regular shots lose most of their effectiveness, but critical hits become much more. Recharge time = 0.5 s Returns –66% Min damage –75% Max. damage –75% Impact force –66% I have faced the autocannon and it is an interesting alt for sure. I am just grateful they didn't leave the impact force too high. It still rocks you, but I was in hunter and shaft in one battle and still landed enough damage (since close) to drive off with a little health :lol: I have not faced the Cryoscales Replacing standard cumulative shots with freon shells. A critical hit does normal damage, but completely freezes the target. Critical hit freezes the target (at 100% of the min. Temperature) No critical damage Trying to see if anyone has faced one or used it. If so, please report.

    Has anyone tried the Cryo load...the freeze 100% instead of crit damage? That is the one alt which I think could be ridiculous in CTF

    Do you ever use Smoky? It got me through the lower-mid ranks in style (m2). The cryo load has me very interested.

    Argh....I pulled the trigger on it already. Totally amazing at least for the moment. First time I've felt like king of the hill in a battle. This must be what firebirds and freezes experienced for a long time:) I will still get the others to m4. I just won't be able to push protections up much at all. Also looking at the double barrel hammer alt...looks very interesting to me. Been face to face with it a few times. It is fairly OP in close proximity. Any thoughts on the cryo load for smoky? Can't imagine the joy of freezing an opponent in mid range with the crit and then closing in w/DD as they are motionless:) Sounds very fun!

    Have you purchased the alt? I was saving up to get Hunter, Twins, Isida, Smoky all to m4. Along with adding another step to firebird, rail, hammer, smoky protections. Now all the new alts have me looking and wondering...

    Oh my gosh...I am a vulcan user, but the alt is a joke...it takes the skill needed to use vulcan and flushes it down the drain. Just overheat and voila...instant death to lots and lots of tanks.

    New alterations coming October 31st

    I only want to see the quantification of each alteration's effect on the turret. So far I can't find those anywhere. A link would be greatly appreciated. So far it is all "qualifications" and nothing concrete. I have been using some old alts I already owned and they seem to be buffed a little. Possibly best for defending on flag with mammy or titan in a close area.

    Has anyone seen a quantification of these alts? The older alts had quantified statements such as "Damage increase 25%; Reload speed increase 20%" (in the case of the Assault Emitters on the Shaft. Just checking. Didn't see it on the Alterations thread. Didn't see it in the Wiki. Just checking before I consider them. Thanks, enri

    Okay, I am seeing all the new alterations in my garage with a verbal description, but not quantitative explanations. Anyone know where to find the numbers behind the nice phrases :D The wiki is not up to speed yet. Also it is still a bummer you can't rent these.

    Good morning! Or afternoon wherever you are:) IF you are choosing between the Thunder and Shaft, which are you most comfortable using? You stated (assumed sarcastically) that you had "no skill"... How have you performed with the newest Shaft? Are you able to take advantage of the more powerful arcade shots in the short to mid range? If you are landing shots with it and enjoying it, you should take it to m4. Thunder takes less skill IMO than Shaft. They are both versatile turrets but in totally different ways. Shaft is only useful with clear lines of sight. Thunder can thrive (thanks to its splash damage) in denser environments where hitting walls, buildings, or simply rocking and shooting the ground can damage enemies who can't even hit you (except for Rico or Magnum). The shaft can obviously wreck havoc from across the board on any Hull. The shaft can now also hold its own in short/mid range thanks to its 1.5 second firing rate coupled with a smoky level damage (minus critical damage and impact). One other negative on Thunder IMO is that you have to equip Thunder protection for basic survival. That limits you against a team who might now be employing many Thunders. By using Shaft (which has no self damage) I am able to choose the 3 most dominant turrets the opposing team is using and soften their impact on me. Right now, I don't use Thunder as much as Shaft simply because of the different volume of Thunder protections I face. On a normal map, I'd estimate 50 percent of the tanks have Thunder protection. Only about 15% use shaft protection IMO. On maps like Highways, that jumps WAY UP... As far as Noise goes, what turret do you use? I prefer Rico or a short range turret on that board. After those I'd take Thunder over shaft. What about you? It really isn't a great board for shaft at all. Although I haven't played it with the new shaft's more powerful and faster arcade shot. Unless Noise is your bread and butter, I'd say go for the Shaft m4. Also I'd choose either a heavy or light hull (my favorites are Titan and Hornet) to get to m3 (10/20). Don't know your crystal situation, but the Centaur kits is one I bought a while back to get me the hornet and shaft m3. Hope this helps some. Ask any questions and I'll do my best to sound off.

    I agree with this. I have wondered why it wouldn't be included. Personally I wish I had purchased a premium pass early on. It would have made my journey into upper ranks much, much faster. The daily crystals and supplies would have been welcomed too. I think it is still a great value and the only thing I have spent money on. For what you spend, the return is great.

    Have you used the arcade shot much in short to mid range? It is quite powerful and formidable in my opinion. Originally I was very upset about the change in the quickscoping/sniping energy drain. but after playing a few hours with the turret on my hunter instead of my titan I am actually pleased with the overall change. It is much better at engaging in short to midranges. Before I was toast when someone came close. Not so much now. Try it out a bit and see how it performs. A confession is I am sporting an m4 shaft. That is a fast, strong midrange turret now. 1.5 second reload (same as smoky) with a bit more damage (although no critical hit and less impact). Have you not experienced that same dynamic with Thunder or Rail? They both can one shot a light hull w/DD and do it over and over:) I know because I use them. Also rico can 3 shot a light hull.
