Well, the V-log was misleading too: I was all excited because I thought it would actually increase the range....It would have been a great and interesting alterations...but I was so disappointed when I found out that they basically copied Freeze's. :(

Doesn't increase at all. Only the "range of max damage", same as Freeze's. :) If the overall range or "range of min damage" was increased by 100%, it would be 50 meters for M4. THAT would be seriously scary. :ph34r:

From my experiences with Firebird M3, it is hard enough keeping the cone of flame on target while it gets knocked around (If you have it on Wasp, Hornet, or Viking, which most do). I don not think the cone-angle decrease is worth it, at least for 50k.

Ehhh...that's not really what I meant. I mean, it makes the user more of a target for hackers. Hackers will try harder for a buyer account with 500k, etc. This is only one reason I heard from players who blot out their crystal amount, it may be invalid and is one of many, but it is a reason. :)

I don't know if this is the right place for this, but: IN the SHOP, the new striker kits with Viking-striker-grasslands and Hunter-striker-jeans are mixed up. When you look at the content it shows the content for the other kit. For example, clicking on the "Raider" kit, which is the Hunter one, it says: "Items in kit: Viking M2- Grasslands" This could be confusing to some buyers.

Actually while using Shaft/Railgun I find the names often help me. I sometimes just guess and fire right under the name. Usually on a dark map.

You can see the difference in movement when it's crossing open spaces. When the laser is just sitting there (as in around a corner) you bet it's a Shaft. ;) A striker wouldn't have enough time for the lock.

Actually I consider it completely balanced. I was using Shaft on another account and parking near the wall on the right side. NO shortage of fat little targets trudging over the bridge with a lit-up flag. 40-some kills, one death. And since I was holding that side the team could focus on the other side. With 3-points per capture, blue team can mine up the base, block reds, etc.... It just needs a bit of teamwork, but on the other hand, red does too. :)

Keep in mind though, it's the prime target for a buff. I wish Firebird, as well.

Mainly alts testing it I guess. After a while they will get bored of it's weakness.

You don't need more M1s. Freeze M1 is good and should last you a while.

It's not supposed to. My hornet M2 isn't two-shotted by a Thunder M2, and it's barely upgraded. Maybe Full-MU', less hp, or a DD?

No, it's not. Unless you have the crystals to upgrade it to M4 soon. "Afterburn" is a bit misleading. ;) Right now you might as well get freeze.

Of course, Shaft is a troll weapon at the lower ranks because people don't know how to avoid and/or counter it. At the higher ranks it becomes much harder to use. ;)
