If Drones are "meant to compensate buyers lack of skills" then Overdrives are meant to compensate for lack of skills overall. Why use any skills when you can press shift+DD and destroy any tank regardless of defenes the player invested into that tank?

You obviously don' tunderstand how the economy works. With this summer system all players except for Legend will regress. They will advance faster than they can buy upgrades. The garage will be poorer at each rank-up.

Well one of my accounts (non-Legend) will be parked for this duration. crystals-to-experience ratio is key to maximizing your garage.

This is only true if you are talking about major buyers. Regular Colonel rank only has mk8 at the expense of something else - less modules or weaker modules or no strong drones. They can't afford to upgrade to mk8 at that rank AND buy other powerful items. Legends on the other hand have had time to accumulate way more crystals and take advantage of many sales. They get a lot more bang for their buck when they can upgrade over multiple sales events. It's a huge difference between a Colonel with one set of mk8 and a Legend who has a full garage including drones. Night & Day.

This is what a lot of players defending hornet fail to recognize. They complain Hunter steals the assault flag when it stuns u - from... 22m? Hornet does the exact same thing - but can do some from 150m with the right turret. And can do so again when reload is complete. Hunter gets one attempt and it's pass/fail. Hornet gets repeated attempts.

Lot of assumptions here... Why would efficiecy be about K/D? If the only battle mode was TDM/DM then ... maybe. But combined they are minority of modes. It's possible one with highest K/D uses most supplies. But the two are not mutually inclusive. Don't need supplies to hide & snipe. You actually tend to use LESS supplies when camping because RK, SB and DA not needed as much as those that move into danger zones. Why do people think that using more supplies should raise efficiency? Isn't performing well and not using supplies more efficient? it's like saying the sniper that uses 20 bullets to kill 10 targets is more efficient than the sniper that uses 11 bullets to kill 10 targets. makes no sense.

Yes - visit the special missions tab. Event started 6 days ago - you are late to the party. Some missions are daily and some cover the length of the Event.
