Titan is not exactly a winner either. Might have quick charge up - but all that does is rush it toward the next "counter" - and we know there's lots of those. And it's not like the dome does a lot to facilitate it's own charge-up. Viking on the other hand is difficult to counter as it can clear a lot of enemies if they are bunched - and will charge quickly as well when it kills those targets. Hornet really should not have that fast a charge - no wonder it aways seems lke they have OD - because they in fact do.

It was a stealth nerf. They never announced it - people found it through the web-patch notes. 20% was a bit much.

I'm not understanding what you are trying to get accross here. My point was, even though I don't regularly use hornet or gauss, when I atually do use them, it is quite easy to get kills. When I use other combos (most of the time), with other ODs, I still get kills but not to the same degree. The hornet OD makes too much of a difference. It is not balanced compared to other ODs.

It's not that much of a skill - it's akin to learning how to turn your turret. They only need to hit you once. So the cover is only needed if there are multiple enemies in that area. And 90% of the hornet-users are longer-range turrets so relatively easy for them to get off 2, 3 or even 4 shots on one OD. Hornet can generate OD through kills while OD is active right? That is another problem. They always seem to have it available.

What do you mean? Back in 2015 I had few supplies and was getting stomped by the players that had lots. I'm a non-buyer that has invested my hard-earned crystals into modules. Those are rendered useless by the swarms of hornets that get to ignore ALL defenses for 20 seconds. OTT IMO.

Until they hit OD you have more than a good chance. Wound them enough and they either die or hit OD too soon to save themselves. It's easier to outrun a mammoth than it is a long-range turret equipped on horet. I've been spawn-killed by the same hornet on same OD 2x in a row... on more than 1 occaision. 1-2 kills is low. Hornet-Gauss can get 2+ with one shot regularly - especially in your wasp example when targets are bunched up. Any left over after first shot die on the 2nd if they have not run.

Well of course you do - it's super effective, right? Let me re-phrase... RFM is so OP, why would you not equip it? Best of both worlds - still have full sniping power and up close it's like Duplet. Shaft-Hammer is what they should have called it.

High account - Titan (as mentioned). It has come to the point where deploying the dome is only useful for negating the odd Wasp bomb. That is truly sad. Mid-account - Dictator. Good team hull and it's OD not entirely wasted when Hornets around - at least I can battle-score from boosting team-mates. Have hornet on both accounts. Now have defender on both accounts and will upgrade. TO might as well reanme to HO - hornet-Online. FYI - any time I equip Gauss-hornet, I get a min KD of 1.8 - and that's without drones like defender or lifeguard. well - except for time MM me put on Archipalego in TDM...

Well... the OD part was implied... yeah RFM is OP on it's own to an extent - especially since there's no snipe draw-back. Why every shaft layers does not equip this is a mystery. But combined with OD? OTT powerful.

Hornet can kill all of those before they have a chance to respond. In today's TO, there is rarely a tank that is not equipped with at least one of DA or protection module. Counter to Dictator? Please... have yet to see one complaint about it being OP. Not one. it does not nee a counter... oh wait... that's Hunter - right? Dictator can't one-shot a protected Hunter - unlike what hornet can do to every other tank. My Titan has been one-shot by magnum-hornets - IN THE DOME.

There are not enough gold events to make catching golds your "primary source of income". Try harder - cuz you are failing. And pretty sure that's more than two words. failx2.

Well if it's a popular opinion how can you say that? What decides what is OP? Players were crying about Hunter and Mammoth during golds and they got nerfed. Two ODs nerfed because of gold-diggers. What?

You read it wrong. We were implying YOU mult in gold battles - since golds are "your primary source of income". Only way that's posiible is if you do pretty much nothing else during the battle. So you don't enter battles to help team-mates - you enter battles solely to collect golds.

Then why is Hornet OD not nerfed? It is clearly OP - but remains untouched because... it is popular.

Is the text in the black box copied from WIKI somewhere? The last part is not true - Incendiary Band works fine with Heat Immunity - even though it should not. And now it's hornet+shaft (with RFM)

It's faster than a Titan. What do you expect for a heavy hull?

It enables maximum damage under any conditions. You don't see a problem with that. Most ODs have a counter - either supplies or another OD. Hornet OD has no counter.

Don't need to be a buyer to equip hornet + DD. First it was hornet-rails. then hornet-vulcans. Now it's hornet-shafts(RFM). See the pattern?
