If a hull is hit anywhere except the exact mid-point of a side it has possibility of turning due to impact. Weight is how a hull resists impact from enemy shots. Since Hunter has 15% more weight than Viking, it resists ALL enemy shots better than viking does - not just the hits on the corners.

I'm not "running my mouth off" - just stating facts... 1) hornets are dominating 2) You defend the hornet OD and 3) you use the hornet. Does not matter that you used it before it had OD - you are taking advantage of it NOW. Sure Vulcans can do well when not equipped with Hornet. And so do other turrets. My alt account uses dictator-vulcan and does well some battles and not as well other battles. Without drones and ODs it does not dominate battles any better than other turrets in same circumstances. Drugs on high damage turrets have always produced decent results. Why are most vulcans dominating battles equipped with hornet? -
They count. One of my accounts has a recorded kill and I only played Team JUG.

I really don't believe you've been in countless battles where these enemies are NOT using ODs or drones. it's 24/7 nowadays. These battles you speak of are just fantasy. And to say hornet is not a major problem just adds more to the fantasy. > 50% of the vulcan users are hornets. with 7 hulls available that should tell you something. You are in denial when you say hornet OD is not an issue. All weekend long it's been hornet after hornet with a drone capping flags or balls. Lately it's isida-hornets - somehow drugged 24-7. Does not take them long to kill medium and even heavy hull when OD activated. Oh wait - is hornet your most-used hull? Well that explains A LOT. -

The snipe splash radius & splash damage should be lowered. That would balance it out some. 1) Vulcan has to hit target with every bullet to be "isida with range". target standing still? yeah easy. Target moving? Not so easy. DPS drops with speed of target. 2) I really don't understand how you can say it's not hornets fault. it allows any high-damage turret to totally wreck medium and even heavy hulls. Rail, Magnum, Vulcan, Gauss - all can easily destroy fully protected tanks. Vulcan can't do half of what you see without the drones or Overdrive. DA & modules would cause it to be much less effective. Same with Titan Dome. But the hornet OD makes it seem like those don't exist. Can a stock vulcan on any hull other than hornet do well? Yes - but so can other turrets. My alt account uses Vulcan and Dictator. Does well some battles and not so well in others. A lot depends on the map and the team you play with. Could vulcan do with a modets DPS nerf? I suppose. How much do you think the vulcan should be nerfed to become "balanced". And don't consider alts or overdrives - since that is not taken into account for other turrets. -

As per the battle we were both in the other night - those vulcan's were almost all hornets - and seemed to have OD way more often than they should. And I still can't believe the other team was practically capping first flag as I finished spawning 1st time. TO absolutely needs to do something about that. I should have left that battle as soon as I realized what was happening. Autocannon needs more impact. It practically tickles the targets. Damage nerf prob ok - but the impact... needs to be higher. -
Dont use it much there. It's better in wide-open spaces where you can keep target under fire. Guess you can camp and fire into the pit. Ricco usually better there, or freeze or fire. Or MAGNUM. FYI - Titan smoky (+incendiary) is my default combo - even on large maps. Use lots of SB - but - I have like 33,000 of them. Get to mid-field and you can wreak havok on defenders from afar, or attackers approaching your side of map.

Incendiary is also harder to resist. Before you could equip Fox module. Now that is useless. So you need the hull augments - one for every hull you use. Might be a few more users after this sale (I bought 4 in two accounts) but will still be rarer than a smoky module.

In TO I rarely have the camera that close unless I need a careful aim. When camera zoomed out the difference always seemed to be more pronounced. I could never get the TX camera to give me the same view as the TO camera. -

They were much better before switch to HTML5. Still slightly better even after the switch. Movement of the tanks is still better - more like a tank than a crappy bouncy car. -

Berlin (36), Dusseldorf (40) and Lost Temple (32) are the 3 biggest maps.

Would make sense it has to be the one with mission to perform the action (picking up box, activating from garage). Else dictators would also help others complete misions. Pretty sure Dictator can't help himself that way on said mission either. Press 1-2-3-4-5 or run over a box.

1) Turn the hull AND turret and it's even quicker - no? 2) Possible but unlikley. Duplet with 2 quick shots in succession would be prime candidate. Even then... 3) The "backward" movement on a hornet when firing ricco is so slight as to be negligible for combat purposes. If that worried about being too close just reverse = a lot more efficient. There really is not much of a strategic advantage to not turning your turret. In certain circumstances - maybe. But for specific turrets? The only excuse here is stock magnum.

I'm not a buyer. I'm just stating how a "wounded" player can make this augment very effective. Why are you personalizing this?

Ok - replace the words with "meh". The look of the interface is not really important to me. Does not affect how I play the game. Well - maybe if they added useful info like what modules I have equipped I might pay more attention to it.

But a wounded Gauss on other side of map (well out of range of your hypothetical twins) can make good use of it though. Magnum can do same thing from it's base, hidden and safe.

I'm neutral on the graphic design - does not offend me, but wasn't insulted by the old one either. my biggest beef is they've buried things to deep on the UI - need to click multiple times to access what you want. Do what "other stuff" while waiting to enter a battle? One hopes there's not enough time (waiting) to actually do anything else. If there actually is enough time to "do other stuff" they should replace that with a pre-battle lobby so time is not wasted in garage once the battle actually starts.
