Alright - ya got me with that extra detail
-
This one not so bad. You could easily use 50 SB over that time. So they are covering your costs. But in most cases you never even paid for them - so ... 2500 free crystals for basically no effort. I'll take it.
-
Sure but... 10 DD - we won't even notice. No one would care if they forgot to claim that. So really, it's hardly "special".
-
What are the Discounts? Gonna be a seperate thread detailing those? Never mind... I missed it.
-
OMG - they are actually adding this atrocity? And it's only available in the bundle?

Hull and turret combo has always been nice. But the OD? Meh. You need to be close to use the OD. Vulcan, with lousy turret rotation does NOT want to be that close. So in my experience you use the Hunter OD (with Vulcan) much less than you might use other ODs like hornet or dictator. partly because players have not kept up with their vulcan modules - there was no need. Hornet+Rail/magnum is still very dominant - I still see way more of them than I do Vulcan-hornet. And don't get me started on Viking-Magnum. No group of targets (see Siege) survives that unless a Titan dome was dropped.
-
Well, you mention "pairing up" and Drones and hornet. There's a lot of turrets that can be dominant with those combos. You don't think Magnum or Gauss under those same conditions are OP? Part of the issue is Hornet OD - which completely ignores protectons (IMO that OD is 'broken') and then the ultra powerful drones. Did you try Vulcan-Dictator or Vulcan-Viking or Vulcan-Hunter? I bet you don't get as good results as you did with hornet. The update to Vulcan simply turned it from an under-used "meh" turret into a useful turret that players are now also using to exploit the Hornet OD. It can no longer quickly shave of the health of long-distance moving enemies - it needs to get closer (more like medium distance) which puts it more in danger.

Ignoring the need-to-buy-all-mk-versions issue (because ALL items suffer this)... Modules are very expensive because they have a significant impact on play. Protection versus the most dangerous or numerous turret for entire battle can't be understated. Can take enemy 2x as long to kill you, or you can survive what would normally be a kill-shot - maybe allowing you to complete a game-breaking CAP. I always buy as many modules on sale as I can. Then, when you get to ranks where it's more prudent to MU vs Buy-next-mk, you get to upgrade multiple modules (once) on each sale. Saves a ton of crystals while you keep improving your defense.
-
Just left a CTF battle where I was the only player on my team with a score > 0. Other Team already had 3 caps in less than 3 minutes. MatchMaker is really messed up. WE NEED A LOBBY THAT LOADS TEAMS BEFORE BATTLE BEGINS.
-
Been saying this for a while. I had same complaint in TX, and I think they just imported it from there.
-
Is this your lower-ranked alt? Cuz those supplies look somewhat "lean"... (or maybe you use them up in Challenges... if so - ignore)
-
This is an example of how the current state of TO encourages players to be selfish at the expense of having decent battles. They are so afraid they are 'wasting their time dying' while trying to capture - why bother. Sit back, die less often, get your 2 stars (maybe 3) and to heck with who actually wins the battle.
-
Change "xp" to "score" and we might have agreement.
-
I rarely get that easy a combo. Usually I have to do two different battle-modes. Sometimes 3 - even after the free switch...
-
Why would you buy/and equip that? For purely a team concept - yeah - might help your team do better. But if you have any goals to accomplish (or stars to acquire) I see that as a setback. Stock would be way better. Especially if the cooldown is 5 seconds.
-
Pro Battles you can play without ODs and without supplies. Unfortunately though... fewer battles to select from becuase most are doing MatchMaker - the only place you can complete the missions in...
-
Unfortunately, there seems to be a large "target group" that does... They don't want to think too much - just push a button (shift) and start killing.
-
For the Gauss' team yes. What's in it though for the Gauss with 0 damage? Resorting to arcade? not great... I think the whole concept should be scrapped...
-
Not sure what this means. Let's say a target just used DA from garage. Would have a cooldown of 30 seconds. Shortly after de-buffed by a Gaus Alteration. When can target use another DA? That 5 seconds only applies if they are not currently in a cooldown? If so - that's a huge dfference.
-
Assuming it's a typo and you meant "expanding" it seems like a contradiction. Having just 1 combo can be quite limiting, and "expanding" also includes getting more modules. Not having modules puts a player at a disadvantage. The rewards from Battle Fund will not let you do this efficiently - would take forever without something like a Premium Pass. Investing crystals in supplies is the LAST thing you want to spend crystals on.
-
WAY above average rewards IMO.
-
Not in todays TO. You need to "keep up with ther Jones's" or fall behind. Rewards from missions are pretty much a necessity.
-
Heck no. There are SO MANY selfish players that any Team Mission would not be easy. For instance... I played a CP battle where half my team was campers. They never left the base. Unless they also had that same capture points mission the team would never have 6 players completing it.
-
But... but... they are contributing! ?
