  1. What? That's part of the strategy fighting splash damage turrets that can hurt even when u cant see them. Makes perfect sense to get awarded at least some score for damaging them and/or forcing them to self destruct. It's up to the splash turret to keep it's distance. Else - why not award vulcan more points for killing a tank within it's radius of crappy rotation...

    New stupidly overpowered vulcan

    Vulcan due to the new mechanics of the bullets, has trouble hitting moving targets at long range because you have to lead them. Vulcan is now better at mid range - more damage than before and "leading" not as much a problem. Up close, Vulcan is still not great because of the tracking while firing. But still good at flag defense if you have a decent spot not too close to flag. Dictator is awesome with Vulcan. So is Trooper drone - the combination means you are fully supplied for most of the battle. Hornet is... meh with Vulcan. Hornet is better with heavy one-shot damage turrets as it allows peek-a-boo and ambushing since hornet itself has low armor.

    It definitely was before spawn-protection was gone. The second my tank appeared this camper with OD active hit me and killed me. Absolutely nothing I could do as even with 50% magnum protection I'd still die - since the OD ignores that. It's just ridicuolus.

    2 shots versus... ? A stock Gauss cannot kill a medium hull in 1 shot unless it has no protection at all. The EMP Gauss at least removes DA... so with faster shots it will certainly have an advantage. Heavy hulls 3-5 snipes for EMP Gauss? How many for a stock Gauss vs Heavy + DA?

    Luck is just not my idea of "simple"... There is no "better way". You just play for other reasons and hope you eventually get there. It's an average of 60 missions to complete.

    Can someone explain the point of Spawn protection when hornet OD just bypasses it? Most of health gone even before I stop ghosting. And some ppl complain Hunter is too OP because they lose the friggin flag ?

    Not sure how it is that is simple if you can't choose to be the JUG. Played a battle where the first JUG on our team never died. Was a team effort - we kept the attackers at bay.

By TDM I did not mean the battle mode - I meant the actions of the individual player. they have become comfortable playing that role - even in CP - and will not adjust based on a new reward system - so long as they can continue to accrue the stars they want. In your Super OP team vs normal team - guess what will happen. Either the battle will end quickly and very few players on losing team will accrue many stars. Or they will all realize they will get zero stars and bail early. Either way players will learn that if they are not on the winning team, there's no point in completing the battle.
  16. I don't see those as being mutually inclusive. A player who consistenly resorted to TDM (in all modes) to guarantee themselves at least 3 stars will not switch strategies here. Players are not gonna hand off the flag to another unless the thresholds are lowered, so they are not at all worried about reaching the high number. I just don't see the thresholds being lowered enough to faciltate the kind of co-operatuon you envision.

  21. You state stars for scores and not "places". But winning/losing is still "places" - as you award 4 stars to 500 points on winning team and 3 stars to 500 points on loser. Previously the top player on losing team could get same award. So with this suggestion even more players will bail early once they fall behind as they have ZERO chance of getting the top reward. You are upping the minimum score to get 1 measly star to 100? Again - I can see players bailing early when they realize they may not even get 1 star. With many battles finishing under 7 minutes your thresholds are just too high IMO.

    Disagree. 2.2 seconds is not a lot of time. Losing the ball for 2.2 seconds... basically nothing. So really only big eeffect is the flag. Does not have any effect in CP - you are still at the point. So - very situational. And everyone keeps ignoring the fact it has to get close - the Hunter trying to zap a target is not successful all the time. Whereas many ODs can be used from a distance or under cover ... Dictator, Viking, Hornet, Titan. Even if a wasp is killed - if it managed to drop a bomb, that bomb still goes off. They've turned Hunter OD into a very situational OD - just like Mammoth - and we all know how popular that is now. Unless I have a mission to "use OD X#-times" I will be joining the rest of the crowd and using my Viking. Or for my other account Dictator. At least they will generate a score - Hunter gets nothing for immobilizing targets.

    Good luck with that. You want to keep the battle modes, even though there are too many and they dilute the player base for battles? You want to get rid of supplies but have no issue with the crazy OverDrives? That is skill?

    12 seconds? You hardly ever approach that anyway. Your target is either dead or under cover, or ... becuase vulcan is exposed to reciprocating fire for that 12 seconds - it is dead. Sure you can switch targets to appraoch 12 seconds. But that is the minority of the time in my experience. The stock spin-up seems fast enough for 85% of my usage.

    Hunter OD nerfed?

    I'm not understanding... you zap players to run away with the flag, and they can power up in 5 seconds. Those DD sniping at you as you try to run (hunters are not that fleet) can make or break your efforts. Of course it's a nerf.
