Is it even possible? Assuming 5 ODs per battle (good luck Viking)... that's 693 battles. In 7 days? 99 battles per-day for 7 days straight?

How much better- or worse- would the game be if there were no supplies.

Many "shops" actually honor a recent discount for ppl who purchased a non-sale item within a certain time-frame before the sale. Since many people would just return the item and then buy it back on sale - this saves the store re-stocking fees. Just sayin'... -
Since I'm not gonna spend 10k on another paint it is moot. (for my marshal-rank account) This account pretty much given up on MM after i completed last weeks missions.
-
What about that 3465 / 100 on Overdrive Use?
-
My post was predicated on someone doing this... "You can kill one tank to have a 1.0 K/D to get the 10 Goldboxes." Don't need an anti-cheat because if someone tries to do more of the missions than the K/D ratio, they will definitely be killing more than "one tank". If they don't do more missions - well - it's not worth it as I pointed out above.

Even with MFS before the Ricco nerf, they could never compete with Rail at long-range. There's no possible way they are competing with Rail at long-range now. The target would have to sit there immobile like a complete noob. If you can't dodge those tracers at long distance you deserve to be destroyed.
-
I see what you did there... ;)
-
But the paint costs 10k... same as the reward. So you even out on that but... you likely will be missing out on Challenge rewards and daily/weekly mission rewards. A net loss.
-
Well, back in Sept they nerfed stock Ricco reload and ranges. So that made MFS less useful overall anyway. I bought MFS to make it a long-range turret. Not so much long-range even with MFS. What's the point of MFS if you decrease the max range extension? Might as well fight up close with Ricco and have better fire-rate and better re-load...
-
For lower ranks cost is an issue. Buy and upgrade a drone then you are missing on something else like modules or MUs to equipment. And they really don't have a big stock-pile of batteries yet either.
-
No it is not. Not even close - unless you are playing in Ping-Pong.
-
Does not matter if you go up above 1.0 or below 1.0 during the event. Only thing that matters is what your k/d is when the event ends.
-
How would it be OP if it was instant? That just means you actually get to activate it. What a novelty... It's not like the OD actually kills anyone (see mammoth) or does any damage. Yes - you can stun tanks for 3 seconds. You might be able to kill one tank during that time - if you aren't killed by someone else. I've seen Viking, Mammoth, and Hornet kill multiple enemies for the duration of their OD. And except for mammoth - they can be far away from their targets.

Well played. B)

The one-second delay on activating Hunter OD is just stupid. You have to get close enough to affect them. Then when you do... the delay is just enough time for a duplex Hammer with DD to get off both shots and kill you just after you activated it. I mean Rail has a 1-second delay... but you can target players across the map and not worry about a Duplex Hammer (without any OD) ruining your only chance...

Remember when we could MU each parameter of a turret separately? Just wanted to upgrade damage? Go ahead. Then they took that away because it was too complicated and most people would not understand it. Oh - the irony. :D
-
Yes No - they have demonstrated a striking inability to introduce balanced changes
-
"Lowest ranking" - not "lowest scoring". They might coincide - sure - but it would be something for the player who - while 3-10 ranks below everyone else - sticks it out in the battle. They didn't choose to get placed in a battle where all the other players are higher-ranked - MM in all it's glory did that. With a bit of a carrot that player might be encouraged to stay instead of just hitting exit.
-
Lots of people don't like them - many of the posts within the 22 pages - many detailing why they are not good for the game.. It's not "true" or "untrue". It's an opinion.
-
With the medium and small maps so crowded - how many 1vs 1 fights you actually see in DM?
-
They don't seem capable of doing this - or - care enough to do it. Either way will be same end result. Their quick-fix way to keep/attract players is temporary. The "new" players they are attracting won't last nearly as long as the "veterans" who are leaving.
-
I never said that and you are being silly. Common sense is involved as well. If you have a bonus replenished very often it does not matter when you use it. If you get a bonus 1x or 2x a battle, you must be much more selective when you use it. That is the strategy part. You can afford to destroy 1 or 2 enemies with your Viking OD now - since - you will have it again fairly soon. With old OD - it would have felt like a waste using it on 1 tank as you have to wait a long time for another. If you wait for the perfect time now to use OD - you may never use it.
-
From original post... "Missions must be completed in Matchmaking battles."
-
You don't need to be smart about the use - you get them almost every minute. Holding onto it is the worst thing you can do - you have to wait longer for your next iteration. "Only killed two tanks that time? Oh well - I'll have that sucker in another 55 seconds... " Back when you only got two ODs per game - that involved strategic use.

You'd be surprised. between the two Super-Missions in WAR, and the star-mults for Challenge, there's more than you think. Last night already had a couple battles that quickly went 8 vs 5 and 8 vs 4... Playing CP on Highland map and half my team was camping with shaft and Magnum on one of the ledges.
