    Was that a typo? <_< Even with "resizing" Sandal is still too small. It's a bloody mosh-pit with 8 vs 8. And 16 tanks in there for DM? :lol: They need to add more maps like Skylark and make sure ALL maps in list are randomized together. I swear they rotate them in groups and weight some maps more than others.

    I thought "May Days" was one of the few sales that approached 50%... no? Which Sales days give the biggest discounts? The more numerous, but smaller sales means it costs you more to buy big-ticket items like Hulls, Turrets and MUs. 3 sales of 30% each means you will still pay more for a large-cost item since you can't possibly combine those multiple sales together to match a 50% sale. So the WHY? is... you save less. More profit for TO. I guess the numerous sales are better for MUs - assuming you only do 1-per-item-per-sale. You can get 2x30% saving vs 1x50%.

    Differentiating isn't the problem. It's how they are differentiated. Tanki has now become ALL about OverDrives. If you don't have OD active, you are basically helpless. It's not even close to the same game from 1+ years ago. Half the time your team doesn't speak a common language. So organized Groups - sure - they will dominate big time. Most others - not so much.

  6. Hunter OD is designed mostly for team battles. It helps the team more than it helps the Hunter. Hunter might stun an enemy then a team-mate might one-shot kill the sitting duck that no longer has DA. What score does the Hunter get? I am very disappointed with Hunter OD. Have it on my alt account at rank of Brigadier. Have 2 turrets - Freeze and Vulcan. It is a good match with Freeze. But since Vulcan wants to keep distance from enemy, the Hunter OD is a terrible match.

    I'd say they are both very flexible. Can be used on Defense or Attack. But one advantage is that Viking can be used to more effect with short-range weapons. Titan in dome with fire... won't be nearly as effective. You can use ANY turret with Viking and be effective.

    Remove the OD-charging entirely and just give it longer supply boosts or... Give entire team - including the activating Dictator - an OD-charge boost - but make it smaller - like 20% to 25%.

    I agree 100% on both these points. Battles are all just a bunch of mosh-pits. Pro-battles looking more and more attractive all the time.

    It's clear as mud. Could be taken either way and Mods/Admins should clarify that. What do you mean by "can't recharge health"? Seems pretty potent to me. Rails can one-shot most hulls now.
  13. The delay is horrible. 1-in-4 attempts to use it end up in fails. They don't need a chance to get away. They often kill you as you try to get in range. And since you need LOS it's even harder. Viking OD with any ranged turret means Hunter is done. And any turret like freeze or isida on maps with cover? Hunter never has a chance since it takes 1 second for a Viking freeze to kill the Hunter. Hunter OD should be instant, and spread out in a circular pulse-like wave just like an EMP would. And friendly tanks should not shield enemies.

    Make that any treads. They buffed sniper damage by 10%. Using heavy capacitors means it can one-shot a heavy hull.

    Defensive play on large maps = low score. If you are "rushing over there" you are in a light hull or medium at best? Pushing won't always be easy. Hunter OD certainly is not useless - but as I use that hull I find the OD is often limited by the map and your own turret. For example - Vulcan is terrible up close - very slow rotation and slow spin-up. But Hunter OD you need to be close. It's not a good match.

    You have a point. team co-operation is almost non-existent - with exception of clans/groups. You buffing your team-mates makes you weaker relative to them. As soon as team-mates see you with star they will follow you like puppies - begging for your OD to recharge theirs...

    The wording is a little awkward... Reducing the buff (30% down to 25%) of reload has the effect of lowering the fire-rate. Reload is now longer. Finally something good for Vulcan (which Devs seemed to hate). Guess we will see even fewer Incendiaries - especially since stock vulcan goes better with Viking.

    If you have m2 Rail and enjoy it - just keep upgrading it. You will have much longer benefit from the MUs versus two early unlock ranks for the kits at m3. Target an m3 kit for one of your weak turrets or one you don't have but want later.

    So turrets that have reload - smoky, thunder etc only have 1 nerf - the recharge. But turrets with DPS - fire, freeze, isida, etc get an extra nerf = < damage per second?

    Too much of a game changer. If you don't have OD ready then you are almost useless. They recharge too quickly and are the norm, not the exception. A lot of posters seem to feel Wasp OD is pretty weak, and they might have a point. I feel the next weakest one is Hunter (controversial, I know) The OD is very situational and has much fewer applications than most of the other ODs. You have to be close - probably have died 1-in-4 times I've tried to use it - mostly due to someone who has an OD already activated. Hunter OD does nothing for you until you are in range - so on bigger maps you won't be using it nearly as much. Even when you do get it off - it does not power you up in any way. It might bring others down to earth - but it does not help you kill them. Sure they are stunned - but - that lasts 3 seconds. Good luck if you are using Vulcan. ODs that can work from any distance - Viking, Titan, Hornet or ODs that gives lots of boosts like Dictator are much more useful. Unless you start a conflict within 40m or less of opponent, ODs like Viking and Hornet will quickly destroy the Hunter before it can get in range. Can't remember the last time I saw Sandbox or Sandal when I had Hunter equipped. Usually end up in Solimansk, Alex, Bridges, Massacre or Parma (those little walls make it useless)

    I guess my point is that Legend should be subdivided as well. Maybe every 3 Ls = 1 "rank". Unless you play hardcore it can take you 1/2 to 1 year for each "L". That's a lot of time to do the upgrades. When I graduated to L1 and ended up playing L10, L15, L20 etc... it was still brutal. Not really better than being as Gismo.

    Smoky does not need to overheat for incendiary to work. Not sure how Vulcan alt works when the Viking OD kicks in - if it stops overheating then does vulcan incendiary even work? Or does damage just get increased with OD along with overheating as usual?

    Technically it's two ranks. But do you honestly believe a L1 player will have = equipment to L37? Don't forget to include Alterations, Drones, MUs and the ability to switch out to a turret the L1 does not have a maxed module for. And in reverse - the L37 probably has 50% modules for all the turrets the L1 has.
