Will play as though the event does not exist. Actually... will probably play less because the battle are absolute crap. Do to the "Kill" & "winning team" conditions, players will camp and exit (losing team) battles like there's no tomorrow. So yeah... will barely play enough to do 1-2 missions per day.

Though I don't necessarily hold with this view, I can understand where you are coming from.

Twins is not alone on this... Ricco, Smoky, Isida, Vulcan... all turrets without area of affect suffer from this.

2 Caveats... - Mammoth can still use a long-range turret and shoot as it closes the distance. - Mammoth OD and SB seem to stack - it can move much faster than you think if both are active. On small maps like sandal and Sandbox, Mammoth is almost too potent and that's why ~ 30% of the hulls on those maps are mammoth.

NO. "Missions must be completed in Matchmaking battles. Incorrect. K/D during the event. NO. K/D for the duration of the event. From now until the event ends, the system will calculate a temporary K/D. "For this mission, the K/D counter will only track how your ratio changes during the event, that is, from May 1st to May 29th (server restart times). Your KD ratio before the start of the event is not considered."

First bullet (mission) Earn 1000 Stars*. Stars are only counted if your team wins a battle in one of the team formats — TDM, CTF, CP, RGB. Stars earned in DM and JGR do not count towards this mission. Reward — the remaining 2 event paint, yours to keep forever. Other missions require different things to complete. Do all 6 for special paint...

You had trouble with 1000 stars... now you need equivalent of 2000 stars - unless you drop out of every losing battle. I don't think the Devs have thought this trough - it is going to be ONE BIG MESS.

"before"... the new ODs. My bad - apologies. Viking OD having bonus damage for "re-load" weapons is odd. Should have just been >> fire-rate and for longer than 7 seconds. DPS turrets should get the damage bonus since they have no fire-rate to increase.

You make it sound like it's easy to get > 3 kills in 7 seconds with Viking OD. More than 3 kills would not be easy unless 4 or more tanks were clustered around each other - like a CP point. You have to shift aim and have LOS all within 7 seconds. On a small map like sandbox maybe. On Kunger or Solimansk or Alex? Not so much... FYI - firebirds were killing tanks in 3 seconds before the ODs came out. Same with Isida. You saying the OD is actually making them worse?

I'm still unclear on the secifics of Viking OD effects - the WIKI is somewhat vague. Do all turrets get a damage boost similar to DD? Even projectile/reload turrets? trying to figure how freeze benefits from the OD as much as say... Thunder... How much is this damage boost?

So to get the special paint you have to complete ALL 6 missions. One of which is... Maintain a K/D ratio of 1.00 or above till the end of the event. Hello campers. Goodbye Isidas - especially nano-bot isidas. And CTF battles will once again become TDM battles. I mean... who's gonna want to stick their neck out trying to grab the flag? Forgot this part... Stars are only counted if your team wins a battle in one of the team formats LOL - half the players will be exiting battle as soon as team starts losing... :D :lol:

Supplies (maybe not RKs) are a wash - crystals are not. Yes, non-buyer has enough crystals to buy something decent. And maybe some modules with a few upgrades. But even with containers you still have to make compromises. Buyers don't. Buyers with better equipment and options will still reach OD faster than F2P. Similar in a way to unbalanced battles - where team with upper hand pulls away even more as they generate OD faster. On the surface it might seem that OD will level the playing field. But IMO that's an illusion.

I hear ya. They've made things like OD go from a novelty - 1x or 2x a game boost to standard gameplay - for the ADHD mobile players that need a "quick-fix". This account has had enough and will be just going pro-battles. My alt account rank=brigadier, might do a few more ranks to build up more crystals then switch over as well. The battles are B-O-R-I-N-G

I don't think any OD should allow a tank to do this. Then it's just God_Mode_On. Ruins the game IMO. A twins or ricco or even Thunder equipped with Viking OD can still take out a couple enemies fairly easily if they are not far from each other. Expecting more than that from using OD is a little much. The battles should not be just about getting OD to 100% and using it.

I wasn't aware turrets with re-load had damage bonuses. Thought that was for turrets that use DPS - since - you can't increase their rate of fire. I used Ricco last night with Viking and it made a LOT of kills. Unless it was mammoth or Titan with OD activated it died.

How so? Stock = 3300 after the 10% increase. 3300 + 25% = 4125. Heavy Hull = 4000. 4125 > 4000 ... no?
