"i mean usually in games the thing that is the medic is not one of the most dangerous in the battle" Nothing about it being an Alteration. Your suggestion implies Stock Isida should be changed. If indeed this is an idea for Alteration it should be moved to the "lets discuss alterations thread" "it starts out low at first but the damage gets to a point..." and this is where you lose most of your kills in DM. You don't have time to build up to the massive damage per second - which also contradicts your first quote above...

Will be shocked if it is > 50%. I mean, I couldn't be more surprised than if I woke up tomorrow morning with my head sewn to the carpet. I expect 40% to 50% sales. And maybe 50% MUs/ 75% on speedups.

You forgot Death track - why is it not in MM? TX certainly has issues but - at least it has a lobby where you can customize equipment to the map you will play on.

Yes - I understand that. It's another layer of complication for the tanker... getting close to target, zapping within range while also firing. My point was, it's not nearly as efficient as say... freeze or ricco or fire, etc... They all have better turret rotation up close as well.

By definition light hulls will have less stability - so - in no case should any new one have passive ability that has better stability than Viking. The more stable it is - the slower it needs to be. As for OD... you want a speed boost and resistance to Impact? Guess it would depend on the amount of extra speed and the amount of resistance to Impact. And how long it lasts... -
On a big map like Highways you should definitely have 2-4 tanks forward and picking off enemies like incoming Hunters. Thye have to make a choice - use OD against outer defenders or save it and risk dying before getting to cap-point. Having your whole team camping around the base is asking for trouble - like 1-2 Magnums on other side raining fire down on the defenders. Blue should have an advantage on a map that big - it just takes red so long to move the flags that far...

Hasn't worked beyond 20m for me - even on flat ground. It's also astounding the number of times it has failed to work - the 1 second delay certainly does not help. Oh - and one of worst turrets to go with it is Vulcan. By time you spin up, the target is no longer stunned. And Vulcans are terrible in close proximity. So for DMs I have no choice but to go with freeze. End up on Highways? Adios muchachos.

You'll never be able to kill anyone who is not static if you implement this idea. Any Shaft player that has m-level to do 3000 damage knows how to hide their laser. So yes - it is without warning. Role playing involves different and specific roles (a la Dungeons & Dragons). Much more specialized roles than arcade game like TO. The players get experience by performing their core skills. Different in TO where an Isida like you envision - a true healer - would be useless in DM - one of the core battle-modes. A true healer would also be at total mercy of their team. Team-play has declined A LOT over the last couple years.

Keep saving your batteries. You will need them at higher ranks if you want to compete.

You are correct - but - the difference at m1 is pretty insignificant. Meanwhile Hunter's acceleration at m1 is fairly significant over Vikings at m1. Hunter m2 also unlocks 2 ranks earlier than Viking m2. That gives Hunter better speed right off the bat.

This isn't a role-playing game - it's an arcade game - for killing tanks. The alteration provides a "medic" version, but after the first 2-3 weeks of introduction not sure if anyone is using it. Totally dependent on team so... no thanks. Your idea... you expecting the the target to sit there while Isida tries to sap it's health? Might work on recruit level. After that - good luck trying to get any score. A shaft can do 3000 damage instantly, from across the map, without warning. You might want to complain about that...

It might heal you - but - are you still technically overheating? IE... 70% damage nerf? On similar topic... I guess Mammoth OD would prevent that damage? Wonder if that is also technically still overheating...

Maybe but... I don't consider center of tank to center of tank to be a range of 30m. Oddly enough - none of the screen-shots show even that... IMO... 25m from those screen-shots is a big stretch.

Would wreck TO economy. They count on you having stuff you will never use. Would be nice to be able to hide items like paints though. So many I will never use (but want in my garage so I don't waste a container on them)

Your mistakes... 1) Your screen-shot did not prove what you claimed it did 2) You rely on the WIKI My comment on your in-ability to interact with the gaming public in a meaningful way is certainly relevant. Players will just tune you out, and all your posts just become walls of text. I have commented on what my experience to be while playing the game. I really don't give a mummers fart if you agree or disagree.

I don't bother with these. AT BEST it's a 33% to win the prize. Not wasting time/supplies on that. My point was - it's already decided with still 8 days to go. Which is a terrible event.

You are often mean when you respond to people - no wonder you are the most disliked mod on this site. And no you never proved it was 25m. You just made that up. If you actually read my posts I said it feels more like 15m. And might possibly be 20m. So stop cherry-picking parts of peoples posts - that seems to be your specialty. Even on level ground my OD does not affect targets at 25m (roughly 5 tank-lengths).

Does not always conform to that. This is what we would have seen back in the day when we created our own battles. Now a Colonel can fight a Gismo or even a Legend.

No, TO was not designed for indirect fire weapons. Very little overhead cover - unlike walls. Get it?

CAN. In CTF 5 / 8 turrets SHOULDN'T be camping. Makes for a crappy battle. And selfish players worrying about k/d... <_< This is reason why I just exit Highways every time I get placed there by MM.
