Well sure - but then the target can just as easily have DA = cancel out. Thunder is more dangerous since every shot with DD can one-shot those hulls.
-
Even m0 smoky can't one-shot an m0 hornet with critical. That's the closest you come as the critical damage goes up slower than hornet armor goes up. Maybe you were thinking wasp? At m0?

My alt account at rank of Colonel consistently gets placed in battles where I am at or close to lowest rank - 75% of players have higher rank. It's crazy. More like 50% of the battles are garbage and 1-sided. Many a-time teams look even. But 2 minutes in all 8 opponents have scored and half your team have score of ZERO. GS is NOT used to place you in battles. If it was you could equip m0 equipment and switch once you are placed in a battle with weaker enemies.

No turret can kill a mammoth unless it uses DD, or has the Striker alteration that also includes a long lock-on time and/or slow missiles.
-
Can't afford to double-down on medium hulls. My alt account though kept Hunter from the beginning - just keeps MU-ing it when sales occur.
-
It just sounds like Isida is not for you. Just like rail is not for me, nor will I buy Magnum which does not belong in this game.

At what distance? The smoky damage pales compared to scope mode. And shaft arcade... re-load and damage are comparable to smoky - and this is it's secondary attack.
-
Hey! I happened to have Viking m3 when they made that ridiculous switch with Hunter. So I was not going to invest in another medium hull that was quite similar to what I already have. Would rather suffer with it than give in to Devs and pay for another medium hull.

I got the Finish top-3 x15 twice in a row. 5 weeks of futility.

I like fantasy games - nothing wrong with them. But combining them with tank-battle games... Blecchhh. :o
-
This is a special ability - whether you choose to recognize it or not. That's called willful ignorance. OH... and Firebird can also damage multiple enemies at same time. Another special ability. Keep trying though...

Smoky alts? I have original two - don't use them much.
-
It is still useful. 1) Has high DPS, so in DM can get kills against medium and light hulls fairly consistently - not as good on large maps vs smaller... 2) Team battles - great at helping to steal flags and/or healing flag defenders 3) Very useful in no-supply Pro-battles since there are no RKs. 4) If you split time between healing team-mates and killing tanks Isida can get a decent score. More crystals if you help your team win.

Since the beginning of time? How many have been active within the past 9 months and how many belong to unique IP address? Those 50M accounts do not translate to active players.

You are partially correct. For each new M-level the time to lock drops. Upgrades within an m-level do not affect this. Example... m2.1 & m2.9... have exact same lock-on time. You do not experience upgrade until you trade for m3 at unlock rank. It makes sense that m3 striker would have a much greater advantage than m1 striker. Just like m3 Thunder has better re-load than m1 Thunder. More damage more often. But if they stayed the same, are you suggesting m1 striker gets a buff and gets the current m3 lock-on? Going the other way, or trying for compromise would really hurt m3/m4 strikers - as they would never get a lock on the much faster hulls they encounter.

Don't forget drones...

Firebird is OP on every M-level. There's no way every single fire bird my alt meets is upgraded more than I. And if every player needs to equip max fire module just to survive a few seconds what does that tell you? You are pretty much the only player saying it's not OP.

I think you need to work on your reading comprehension. Try re-reading my posts a couple more times. Maybe you'll get it.

No worries - it happens. Only one thing to add... don't need this to go on forever... might be entertaining to some, but still... Can you understand that your role might require different tools than tankers who play different roles? You camp and scope and kill - hopefully doing that from relative safety. Others cap points, steal flags and defend flags in close quarters. They need different tools than you might. When you left the safe-zone you used supplies to complete the mission. Others do same thing you did - but way more often - not just for a mission, but for the game. Can't have everyone sitting behind a bush waiting for targets. That's called TDM, not CTF. Supplies are a tool that enable them to attempt these different tasks because they put themselves more on the line - risking more deaths to accomplish the TEAM goal. How is one role more "pure" than the other?
-
Congrats - you left your camping spot to complete a few missions, and .... USED SUPPLIES to do it. And for those who don't play shaft for 95% of their playing time, they need supplies when they are vulnerable out in the open. Not sure what about that concept you are having trouble with. Which quote of mine accuses you of being a mult? I use the word "camp" and do not consider that synonymous with mult. You may have confused someone else's post with mine.

That's awesome you played way back in 2010. But you know what? It's a different game - barely resembles the one you started with. Nothing you typed above describes communicating with your team-mates. To say language is never an impediment is like an ostrich burying it's head in the sand. Sure it's nice to have options. But you completely ignore what a W01 can buy and go on to speak of m4 equipment. Isida is very similar to Firebird. 1) Short range 2) HIgh DPS 3) Limited energy pool. They are both knife-fighters that can run out of energy. At their core they are same thing except Isida can heal and Fire can damage and run. The alt makes them even closer, but bumps fire up to a new level, which alts are not supposed to do. You are living in the past. Start a new account, buy an m0 isida, play some DM to complete missions, and see how you fare versus the numerous firebirds found in DM.

Modified Firing Rate? If so - I have it - crystals invested are wasted. The ~ 1.5 seconds you save on spin-up in no way compensates for the 25% reduction in damage. Complete Garbage.

First: I hit the wrong key all the time and accidentally drop golds when I don't want to - that's understandable. Second: I was not preaching. I pointed out your statement was not accurate. Third: Mines are supplies. You use them by hitting 5 on your keyboard, just like the other supplies 1-2-3-4. Supplies are also called "drugs". So, since mines are supplies they are also "drugs". ALL of those are tools. Mines increase your tanks ability to survive so you can camp and kill more tanks. Just because you do not wish to consider them supplies does not make it true. Fourth: Why do you use them? As a protection as you hide and camp of course. Just like the tanks out in the open need protection like DA - because they have made themselves more vulnerable. Go play Isida or cap a whole bunch of flags and see how well you do in MM without supplies. Or see how many flags your side can cap without any of them using supplies to survive the ordeal. Good luck.

Stock does not have a s much armor as Viking, but if you plan on MU-ing to m3 it catches up. As Hunter unlocks 2 ranks earlier you get a head-start on MUs. Depends on what you value more - speed or stability. IMO Viking better if you want to cap flags or need more speed for Freeze/Fire/Isida. Hunter better for aiming... Rail/Smoky/Vulcan

I don't consider paying yourself 1000 crystals using supplies - so that action gets a pass. But those mines... per hour it's pretty much on par with my usage.
