How do you figure that? Look up it's name-sake as armoured vehicle. The FV102 Striker is an anti-tank weapon. Same with the Raketenjagdpanzer 2. What does a Bazooka fire?

An example of how game can run perfectly WITHOUT MATCHMAKING

CTF is by far the most popular mode. No way it can be relegated to Pro-battles. MM would wither away... Then fix it. You have more than enough feedback on the many issues. -
They are easy for you to avoid because you are a camper and stay in your base area with shaft. You avoid battle-modes where you might be in close quarters with other tanks. You did some DM, but can't tell when that was- before or after Fire got it's afterburn buff. Play some CP, or try to cap some flags. You will have a different perspective then.

Unless you switch modes (maybe I have a mission in that mode) you stand a good chance of getting dumped back in that same battle. Now we are looking at much longer times for getting in battles. Not as simple as they claimed.

Not enough players to make it work properly. They could start by: - tightening up rank brackets - Relegate JUG/Assault/RGBY to Pro-Battles. Less division of players in MM = better chance for good balance. That's just the start mind you... -
If you are cutting the damage in half (2 missiles instead of 4) and get a 30% buff on lock-on, I'm not sure you need to remove splash. The 50% / 30% trade-off seems pretty fair.

So tired of my Viking getting rocked around like a rag-doll as I try to use smoky auto-cannon. Looks like time to start saving up for Hunter. Should have enough by time next big sale comes around.
-
Nah - it's just you. And was I wrong about "exclusive" paints making their way into containers? Since you know it all - what happens when a group logs in and a reciprocating group does not log in for 4-5 minutes. Everyone already assigned waits 5 minutes? Or they load the battle with non-group players and start the match.
-
So I finally bought a drone since they were on sale - Trooper. Get a 100-kill "daily mission" (lol) so what the heck I'll equip Titan Ricco and make use of Trooper spawn boosts. 1st 3 DM maps I get are the largest ones in MM - nullifying my turret/Hull and drone. BLECHHH.

The old "Ignore Battle Mode" strategy. Ain't stars events grand? <_< Imagine all the 0-0 CTF battles... might as well play TDM. These star -events really do ruin battles...
-
You just can't help yourself from posting condescending posts. It's amazing how much you think of yourself. You were not in the battle so you have no clue. You pretend TO does not make mistakes, or not ever lie. Pretty sure the paints they claimed to be exclusive can now be found in containers. You either are completely naive or have no integrity. Here's an example for you... a group logs in to play a game and gets assigned to a battle. And no other group signs in for next 5 minutes. Would you have us believe that group (and all other players already assigned) will sit in queue for 5 minutes?

My alt account - rank of Colonel - just left a battle where every other player was Lt. General up to F.Marshall. And they wonder why we struggle to get stars...
-
Pro-battles do not seem to have the update to battle-fund division that MM got. If you score well but your team does poorly - you get much less funds. Having said that I still enjoy pro-battles more - the longer battles actually allow for a semblance of strategy.
-
Read post #84. That player posted screen-shot of the battle. The player was in the battle. For once you are correct - I do not believe TO. And the CM goes by what developers tell them... as has been pointed out many times is not involved in rule creation.
-
So you know this how? You were in the battle?
-
Simple is it? Many people "genuinely know how to properly earn points in battle" Put 5 of those people in same battle and your math does not work out...
-
Didn't start that way though right? Your team bailed when they started losing? (blame that on top-3 winners / stars) And... was that Group versus non-group?
-
Magnum - Mortar. It;s actually more beneficial to miss - there's no real downside. And places mines in no-supply battles.
-
You are playing with poor isidas. OR.... I've discovered that isidas get poor scoring for healing. I've healed until I had no juice left, for most of a battle. Finished near bottom. Next battle I used a lot of DD and RK, killed a lot and barely healed. Finished near the top. So if Isidas have missions to complete or stars to earn, they are better off NOT healing. Go talk to the Devs about why...
-
To get the XT at tier 50 you need to no-life it over the Holidays. Many of us have no desire to spend that much time in this game. And you need to spend real $ on battle-pass for Hunter XT. That's a double-pass.
-
But... you're not frustrated, are you? ;) FYI... if you use smoky - buy the auto-cannon. It is pretty awesome.
-
What two tanks can Isida kill in 5 seconds? Two light hulls that are just sitting there maybe... and not moving... or doing anything. And Twins... can easily kill 2 light hulls - from farther away. I've offered many suggestions for improvements many times - they fall on deaf ears. Devs would rather introduce new bells and whistles rather than fix the updates they make that do not work properly (hello Match-Maker). After all - that's more cost-effective. This is my point. Many players have frustrations because the Devs won't/can't fix some of the glaring issues. But Viking brushes that aside as our problem. It's not just me (or you). It's many players. If every player who had frustration with the way the game is being developed left - they'd have a very small pool of players.
-
You make it sound like it has to be one or the other... they can enjoy the game still, but - also praise every new update - even the ones that are obviously ridiculous.
-
Containers was a decent update. The newer "weekly" missions that can take up to 3 weeks to complete? Not so much...
-
I keep hoping that the Devs will actually do something positive for the game. Either they don't have a clue how to do that, or just don't care. Every time some announcement is made (even if it has negative effects for many) you group of helpers are the first ones to jump into the forum and proclaim how great that decision was. It's like you are part of a political party, all clapping after your leader speaks. They have no interest in making the game better. They introduce changes to make more money for the company. The OP updates to equipment and things like reduction to rank requirements for kits in shop only re-inforce this. I've only ever seen one "Helper" be honest about the changes introduced over past 2-3 years. The rest, like clock-work, log into the Forum and praise even the most ridiculous changes. I recall a time MUs were customizable - each specific parameter could be updated independent of the other. Then that was taken away because it was "too complicated". So OverDrives and Drones, etc are simplifying things? <_< The Devs either have no clue about introducing balanced changes, or they deliberately introduce changes that will "encourage" players to spend crystals on the OP-Flavour-of-the-month". You can't seriously say with a straight face that Magnum, or the new Freeze or Fire, or half the new Alterations are balanced, can you? :o
