They absolutely need to be changed.. Might not need to be quite that drastic... top-4 winners top-2 losers ad you may have more players staying to finish battles. Speaking of "finish battles"... that mission when you get "Finish 7 battles in ____ Mode" is kind of ridiculous as well. By the 6th or 7th one you may not care about results and become a mult through apathy.

Average GS of what combined? The person's garage? The players in the battle? Not sure how either of those prevents a player from artificially lowering their GS to get easier competition. Especially DM - where there are no teams. -
Why not... they reduce Vulcan dmg by 25% just to get a minor buff on the spin-up. (what a waste of crystals)

You mean when you hit 'continue' button after a battle ends to avoid going back to main lobby? Yup - been happening more frequently lately. Kind of goofy considering there are supposed to be > 30 maps available.

You are 8 ranks ahead of the curve (m2 unlocks at Colonel). So yes... that suka is OP. It is one of the worst design flaws TO has created: Smoky m1 available at Sergeant with Keeper Kit. Smoky improves by a whopping 30% from m1 to m2 16 ranks between availability of m1 and m2. That's just crazy.

Yes - if you MU to 35% you get m3 for free at m3 unlock rank (which you should be at already) Or you can do as Congo suggests above. I suggest a compromise. Slowly upgrade the modules you have so the 5 MUs are not wasted. And also buy a different m3 module IF there is a 50% sale. The more modules you, the better you can take advantage of MU sales by doing 1 MU on each, and no speed-ups - ever.

You use the word "pathetic" in your replies more than once now. I'm not sure you understand what that word means. Either that - or - you are an angry person. Going by your posts, I'd say this is your first account - as you seem to not understand a lot. At least I hope it's your first account. And you may want to re-read the posts again - as I never said you should spend all your crystals to buy all the modules now. You will want all the modules eventually, so spend some of your crystals. What the heck are you saving that much for? And... since you have 3 modules at this moment - equip them. You have no right to complain about others using modules when you have 3 modules in your garage right now. Your choice not to equip them. I'm sure you'll appreciate my default module set-up is Thunder/Rail/Shaft. <_<

BINGO! Played TX for about a year. They kept changing things - all for the worse. Have not played in 4-5 months now.

Then they should have tested it more before rolling it out. Match-Maker is so broken right now. They would have been better off taking their time and getting it right. It's almost like they ignored all the results from the test they did last year. Problem with Gear-Score is... it is based on what you have equipped. If I equip a bunch of m0 stuff from my garage, will it place me in battles with weaker tanks? That would be awesome in DMs. Once in battle I visit garage an equip my real items.

So... under what circumstances did you not receive stars? Ever play in battles where up to half your team left the battle with > 4 minutes to play because they were losing?

Would you have us believe groups will wait 1-3 minutes or more to be placed in battles against other groups at non-peak hours? I don't believe they are paired-only. The frequency of lop-sided battles tends to support this. (Groups don't have to be clans to have a huge advantage when playing non-groups. Friends that play together can automatically communicate and will have synergized equipment selections compared to random players thrown together by MM) Groups should only be available in Pro-battles. Same with Assault, Rugby and JUG battle modes. Too many battle-modes spreads out the MM players too thinly. Those non-core battle-modes should be relegated to Pro-Battles. IMO they are a "luxury" - not a core part of the game.

2nd example ... in your world the firebird will never make it to the shaft without protection. But you think that is fair... :wacko: In any case of course it's fair to equip all the modules you have. There are 13 turrets and you get 3 modules. That's 10 turrets you are not protected against. It's absolutely fair. Just buy more modules and equip them. Problem solved.

Was just placed in a CP battle with only 4.5 minutes left. Other team spawn-killing our team. Battle ended 50-2 for other team. Not one player on my team received stars. It's not as simple as u think it is.

Can't complete missions in Pro-Battles though. Mind you, with the nerf casual players have received with this new mission update, leaving MM for pro-battles is not quite the hardship it would have been, crystal-wise.

That is not how it is working in actual battles. Clan designations are one easy way to see how lop-sided it can get. When one side has same clan members and other side has no clan members = group vs non-group. Then there's also the battles that are so lop-sided so quickly. Decided in first 3 min of 8 minute battle. Either that is group vs non-group, or Match-maker is so bad at creating teams you might as well junk it. Whichever way you slice it, can not defend it - as it happens way too often to be labeled random.

The videos did look silly with that firing rate. Likely not that good (better not be) - but - won't change the fact Hunter will be vulnerable to ranged weapons. (not sure how they can properly balance the Viking OD considering the wide variety of turrets) Hunter OD will be more useful on smaller maps or in a more defensive role where it can ambush.

This is pretty much exactly what I typed above. - Easier to enter battle - remove multing - same number of players each team. But it does none of those with any effect. In it's current form MM is failing. Says nothing about eliminating "lopsided battles" as it does not seem to be able to evaluate skill, nor can it make players play the battle they were assigned, nor can it make players stay in the battles.

Players who only play together as a group have >> equal outcome. MM should not allow groups. Want to play with your friends on same team? Go play Pro-battles.

You can lose and end up with zero stars. How is that fun. Well that's awesome for you. But I've been placed in battles that were already ongoing or quite unbalanced or both. I've been first-place on losing team and received ZERO stars. It IS possible to play entire battle and not meet the threshold. As OKdad mentions above, anytime I'm placed in ongoing battle that is more than 2 min elapsed I will exit. Not wasting my time. Star-Events do not promote staying in battles. That is a shame. Players complaining about other players bailing can look to Star-Events as a major influence. Same with missions. Get stuck with that finish top-3 winner (x15)? If MM places me in partial-completed battle I exit.
