  1. Would love to have had it when it was at it's prime. Kind of like when Isida had 50% self-heal. I bought the range alteration (and never un-equip it) so the speed of the projectiles is quite good. rarely miss because of that. Wish it had the vertical auto-aim it used to have though.

    This would actually go a little way toward redeeming Viking after they butchered it in the "rebalance". I'd certainly like my Smoky & Ricco to fire even faster. That would not affect weapons like Isida or Fire would it?

    What is your approach to playing the game now?

    Yeah - Isida is great if you have team-mates will stay alive long enough to heal. If all are hornets/wasps I either switch turrets or find another battle. Ever since I bought Ricco M3 I have rarely used my smoky, even though it is 12/20 now.

    You might want to re-read what I said at least one more time... because I think you missed at least 50% of the point. You insinuated that I rely on supplies and not on skill. And don't put in "effort". I answered that incorrect assumption. You thought I meant literally unlimited? Wow. There are tankers that will use an RK with 8 seconds left in a CP battle they are winning by 30 and no-where near a CP point. They will turn on a DD each and every time they re-spawn in order to get 2x as many kills in before they die. That is basically "unlimited". More than they can use up while playing. How does a Shaft not using supplies help their team? Pretty sure doing double damage more than helps in "sniper support and cover fire for flag bearers".

    When a team works together they certainly are more potent. However, there are many counters to even 3 Isidas running together. - Magnum - the splash damage plus initial original hit can overcome even the isidas healing - it runs out. - 3 firebirds can waste the 3 isidas. The firebirds likely will die but - the afterburn will easily finish all 3. - Freeze - area affect will slow all of them down making them easier targets. - concentrate on last one (need some kind of "train" or they just get tangled up - shaft can kill medium hull with one shot. - magnum (yes - second time - it really does counter multiple isidas) Isidas can't heal and attack very well due to the 5 second attack. As soon as they attack they lose a LOT of healing. So confronting them with at least one close-range turret while hitting them with ranged weapons gives them difficult choice...

    How? Since OverDrive relies a lot on accomplishments (like capping, killing, etc) "constant druggers" always got it first. At that point they can now dominate those that do not yet have it. OverDrive just made the gap between non-druggers and druggers wider. It was a reward for drugging.

    First off - I prefer (by far) Pro-battles supplies off. I only do normal battles with supplies because I can't complete missions in Pro-battles. And Now I have a "super-mission" which either requires lots of "normal" battle time or will take forever just completing one mission per day. It's kind of funny when some people claim others don't have enough skill or effort. You know nothing about me, so are in no position to comment on my skill, least of all effort. Time will tell if you have same opinion when rank up more - say to General when you're playing tankers with unlimited supplies and 40%-50% protection modules. It is a completely different game at higher levels. And by the way - at Marshal+ DD and mines are pretty much standard procedure for shaft players - so get off your high horse.

    Why so many players don't use Overdrive?

    When our team is struggling and at least 1/3 of the team has the big white star, but does not activate - I begin to question - what are they saving it for? It's there to be used. You keep saving it and die, never activating it - what's the point? All the while the other team seems to activate all the time. And when I tell them to use it it's mostly silence. Or a response in another language. Team games where you can't communicate - another mistake was going to one common set of servers regardless of language.

    I suppose at Colonel+ there might be some tankers without one of each ( :blink: ) but... This about those with the big white star that means OverDrive is ready to go... I'd be shocked if that shows up and they can't actually use it.

    I hope you are basing all this on a different higher account. In normal battle you will use more supplies weekly than you get as reward. it's as simple as that.

    We bought Viking to use with certain turrets like smoky. Smoky needs to keep firing and hitting targets because 1) does small damage and 2) critical - more hits = more chances for critical. Viking no longer provides that stability, making it less useful as a stable weapons platform. If I want speed I will switch to my M3 hornet. Devs wanted us to spend crystals on another medium hull to get back what we had. No thanks. :angry:

    1) It would help. Fixing technical lags, errors, mults etc will also help. It's not just one issue. 2) Has nothing to do with anything I've said. Probably would have been better off in a separate post.

    With ability to interrupt RK, twins is one of the most (if not THE most) OP turret in the game. Funny - been seeing a lot more twins recently ;)

    3-4 months? Holy crap! :o Oh... you're kidding (this time) right? I mean Devs "simplified" MUs so they would be easier to understand cuz there were so many people having difficulty ;) ;) And yet - we have a new concept that might take some players 3-4 months to learn how to use? :wacko: Plenty of battles so far with half my team not using it (with big Star on their tank) as we lose the game. Nice... And yes - I ask them why they are not using OverDrive. Stone silence. Very reassuring.

    Missions are a source of income. When you switch any supply mission you might get more crystal missions. Or maybe I just do two crystal missions and not the supply mission. Plus the weekly bonus gives me ~ 4000 crystals. Why should I give that up just because I (far) prefer non-supply missions. So those playing normal missions get a bonus and I don't? If Devs removed all the crystals from missions, and gave out only supplies, then maybe it's more fair, and I would not bother with daily/weekly missions. But as it stands now it would be unfair for those in normal battles getting bonus crystals for playing in mode (normal) they usually play in while I get nothing for playing in mode I like. In what way is it "totally different"? It does not matter what terminology you want to apply - In both cases game is losing lots of players.

    Haven't had a chance to view the V-log so still in the dark about the Hull add-ons... Bomb? Safety bubble? Supply Deactivation? At the very least it will be.... interesting. :blink: At the worst could be an even worse Cluster$#@# than we already have. Didn't think that was possible. Maybe - just maybe - the devs implement the matchmaking and LET IT RIDE for 4 months (yes - 4 months!) and analyze before making any more changes? Have they even heard of "baselines"? (Hint - it ain't about Geddy Lee doing Tom Sawyer...)
