And the trade-off (besides crystals) will be reduction in damage = what it did before this update. #coincidence -
A +20% (clip reload) might seem like a lot. But when you consider it takes Isida 10 seconds to replenish the tank it doesn't seem so bad. And don't think about attacking with isida before you're full - you run dry in no time. What's Hammer M3 reload now? And 1.8 for hammer M4 vs ... what is current smoky M4 reload (they nerfed it 2x right?) ? I still don't understand how the Devs can say "Hammer is OP" and then decrease the shot re-load time.

reload between shots is supposed to be quicker. You did not notice a difference?

If you have the funds and Predator Kit still unlocks at Serg-Major get it. - That's 4 ranks early for unlock - At M1 Hunter is better than Viking - more armor with almost same speed. - At Serg-Major Thunder M1 is OP.

no RIP for Hammer. It just got buffed. Who cares about the clip re-load when you get 5 shots with the alteration - and now those 5 shots come even faster. -

It takes 5 seconds to empty but then it's useless for... 10 second re-load? -

I see. kind of disregarding first shot that does not need a reload... so 6.1+2.1+shoot = 2400. But I agree in that DPS for shaft is kind of irrelevant. It kills in one or two shots... so the initial cycle is really the most applicable. -

But... charge-shoot-reload-charge-shoot is in reality a "full cycle" - then would be repeated as needed correct? Two shots within a full cycle. So... 2.1+shoot+6+2.1+shoot = 4800 dmg in 10.2 seconds giving a DPS of 470, as opposed to 270. -

We will need to see what specifically the increased DPS is. We don't know if it will offset the smaller fuel (attack) tank and no self healing at all. -

I'm not understanding your math... Why are you dividing by 2400 by 8.1? The first shot can be fired in 2.1 seconds right? Second shot fired in... 10.2 seconds? For a total of 4800 dmg? And of course a scope followed by arcade would be faster than 10.2... -

If shot reload is faster then drum re-load is irrelevant. The target will be dead. Reload drum as Hammer moves on to next victim target. Where's the barf emoticon? -

Ok - as worded now it is a bit confusing. When you increase the speed of something you make it faster. And the "something" here is reload. "Increased reload time" or "decreased reload speed" would seem more appropriate. -

Wait a second...Hammer will fire those (up to) 5 shots even quicker? How is that a 'nerf'? Takes less time to kill a heavy hull... "So, we'll be increasing the reload speed between shots, but reloading your clip will take longer." -

One can switch games sure... but that's not the point. I've already invested a lot of time to get my equipment where it is. then it suffers a large set-back due to an "update". Now it may not be playable the way I wanted, but I can't get the time I've "invested" back. it's gone. The constant "updates" have been frustrating gamers lately. And this contributes to why more and more people have been leaving tanki. Soon there will be so few people online it won't be playable due to lack of battles. -

Well your time is important, no? You "invest" time gaining crystals to acquire equipment. Then after you acquire the equipment it's drastically changed. Often for the worse... That aside... I'm curious as to what (say M3) an isida can kill in 5 seconds. What can a firebird (with alt) kill in 5 seconds? Shaft... 1 shot a medium? So if the Shaft has DD the medium hull is toast no matter what - even with DA (the DD & DA will cancel out). Only a Protection Module (at 250k) will save you (combined with DA). -

With more Splash and more bouncing shots, Blue will be at an even bigger disadvantage in Noise. -
FYI... self healing now completely gone. Apparently damage/second going up but - lasts only 5 seconds when attacking.

Is that on 50% sales only? How long does that take without speed-ups?

Interesting... I would consider the +80% alt. Trades consistent damage for a more brutal critical. A bit closer to smoky before the "rebalance". If only reload was quicker like before... Doubt I'd give up the 5% chance for critical though... combined with loss of reg damage it's just too much to chance.

Hammer seems to be king now - especially for kills. I heard there's currently no Protection Module that has both hammer+thunder protection. If so, guess what tankers should use when they see a lot of Thunders in the battle... -
Buy a Pro-Pass (if you don't already have one) and try to play supplies-disabled battles. Not always a lot to choose from but they are a refreshing change from the "drug-battles". If you play enough of them your supply stock will continue to increase, to the point where you can fight back at more even odds.

It's "weak" damage is 50% which is not bad at all. So a stock M3 at very long distance is doing ~ 430 damage. Sure it's no Rail or Shaft, but when needed it can more than tickle. And it's reload is quite respectable. You are thinking of Smoky right? Great at mid-range but even worse than Thunder at long range. Weak damage is 10%. Unless you get the 1-in-5 Critical surprise all it does at long range is tickle.
