Ok - this is true so I'll give you that. Page 58 this thread - the one with lots of Blue...

Business or no business reasons... your words supported the claims that Pro-Battles with supplies disabled are not popular. Just own up to that. What gif? Seriously? As I said before, admitting you were wrong is not a weakness. Stubborness and denial on the other hand...
-
The gif is not discordant with previous words. It is discordant with "Sadly there's not so many PRO battles with supplies disabled because Tanki doesn't promote them." But hey - we agree! There are not so many PRO battles with supplies disabled.
-
The gif with "The sea is too wet to play Pro battles today" was a rebuttal to claims there were not many Pro-batttles with supplies disabled. The following statement "Sadly there's not so many PRO battles with supplies disabled because Tanki doesn't promote them." contradicts that rebuttal.

Should be good on Alexandrovisk (sp). Large map with only one CP...
-
If you need experience in battles isida is your man.
-
Rail and Thunder seem to be very common on medium to large maps. And yes - could be lots of (popular) legacy modules that had Thunder protection still around.
-
Hiding behind semantics. Disappointed. But not surprised. What's the saying... "a picture is worth a thousand words" - so there's 1000 of your words. Or do you now deny posting the gif that says "The sea is too wet to play Pro battles today"?
-
You have a short memory. Start at page 57. Any of them not your posts are endorsed by yourself. You have a lovely gif on page 58.
-
Hold on... What happened to the "The sky is too blue to play Pro-Battles" re-buttals? The "There's tons of pro-Battles with supplies disabled". You and your peeps slammed me because I stated that even with pro-Pass it was hard to find playable no-supply battles. Change your mind? ( it's ok to say you were wrong - it's not a sign of weakness ;) )

40 protection against... ? Switch turrets maybe to avoid the protection? And using an M1 for... attack in battles vs Majors +? LOL.
-
I guess that's good news for the other team, or anyone trying to destroy them.
-
So... Twins is... complicated? I know it requires an extra piece of equipment (the infamous "brick") - but still...
-
Can someone translate this into English please? Thanks in advance.

Well, people who bought one hull before the "rebalance" (switch) have already been cheated. So if they have to pay for an alteration that gives them what they actually paid for I don't consider that a "crystals cheat". In the end they are paying extra to get what they originally wanted.
-
How? The only one they can possibly be hurting is themselves (since Isida is relatively slow at killing without DD)... Or did you mean TDM? Even then - if they pair up with large hulls they can keep it alive to inflict lots of destruction. Can you elaborate?

Patch Update #430 - New Striker turret, new Alterations and decorations
wolverine848 replied to theFiringHand in News Archive
Seems powerful enough (actually too powerful) to me. Striker best when... - targeting someone fighting another opponent. - target has little room to maneuver. - many targets close together = splash damage - Striker up high with good view - see Noise Red team - larger open areas where the lock-on will follow heavy-medium tanks. Many situations where it works. Maybe not as good one-vs-one... but - it can launch single missles without using lock-on. -
Without mines Blue has less of a chance. Blue using DD kind of cancels out the DA of red. Single biggest issue I found as Blue is lag. The attackers just lag right over a Blue defender. Trying to physically block an incomming tank is ridiculously frustrating.

CTF game us leading 8-3. Some new tanks join each side and soon score is 8-6. I look at numbers and we are fighting 3 tanks vs 7. Where did my team go? Timer kicks in with 2 min to go. Suddenly two tanks join our side and do.... nothing. Zeros. Game continues because we have "enough tanks". Battle ends up 9-10 and when battle restarts those two who joined late immediately leave. What a coincidence they kept the battle going long enough for other team to win.

Someone in some string mentioned repair kits negate the freezing effect? Not my experience last night. Had Freeze protection, and as I started to crystalize I hit RK. No reducing of effect  . I just became an ice-block and died. Maybe I was too close to death and RK did not kick in? Can ayone confirm the RK negates freezing? As for the ambush. Except for one-shot-kills like Rail with DD, against most turrets you at least have the chance to inflict some damage before destruction. Not so with Freeze. You don't even get a chance to reply once. At least that's my experience vs M3+.

That does not sound right. A striker of same M-level does 90-95% of a Titans health. Hornet would be demolished. Maybe Striker was not same M-level? Hornet had DA? Hornet had a protection module vs Striker?
-
Sorry - I was referring to the Striker firing platform. Medium is likely ok since it can get to good firing positions. But a heavy-hull-striker will be more stable under fire and last long enough to get off the full tank-killing salvo. I was surprised to see many hornet-strikers.

First of all I was not judging you nor trying to comment on your supply use. I was making my query based on previous posts that seemed to indicate your experience using Isida was mostly in conjunction with supplies like Double Damage. If that was not the case then (as mentioned in my above post) I apologize. The "can't kill fast enough" comment would have more importance in DM yes, since it's all or nothing. No score if you don't complete the kill. But also affects all battles where one-on-one a non-drugging Isida will lose most battles vs competent opponent. Sure an Isida can beat another turret if opponent is less skilled and can't even turn the turret. But no one should count on that as an SOP. In higher levels (M3+) the opponents are dealing massive damage quickly. The Isida does not keep up. Look at damage per second or time-to-kill stats. The Isida lags far behind. Do I want 50% self-heal back? No. 10% is a joke though. And the alteration? +10% self-heal for -30% damage? LMAO. Self-heal is based on damage. Sounds like a zero-sum game for lots of crystals.
-
Once they get comfortable with it they will rack up the kills. It does a lot of damage with full salvo. So medium or heavy hull seems like obvious choice. Hornet? Not so sure - would not make a stable firing platform.
-
The thing is ... it's not just either ... or.... Someone who just wants to heal or someone who wants to be uber-killer. I get the impression (I may be wrong so my apologies if so) but most of your experience with isida is with supplies - DD. At M3 and above, without supplies, an isida can't kill fast enough - and either dies or loses to kill-steals. The Devs should not base all their revisions on one situation - drugging. If they continue that way the Striker will get nerfed big time.
