  1. No. The ability to leap over walls and then cap (see Wolfenstein) and the no-delay stun (beats hunter all the time) make it OP. It is basically unstoppbale in CTF/Assault/Rugby.
  2. Like I said - it loses it's effect with use. But you do whatever you want.

The stupidest sight in tanki today

But at least they will boost you back - both with supplies & OD charge. So you personally will get something out of it...

Bye bye tanki, hello space invaders...

Not one parameter listed in WIKI indicates Crusader has better strafing accel than Hopper.
  5. Probably because there's no thumbs-down... *sigh*
  6. Never said you couldn't. Just seems weird that you do it with almost all the posts. When you use something as often as you do, it loses its effectiveness. Boy-who-cried-wolf syndrome.

    Augments for Railgun

It's the impact of Scout that makes it OP. Fires at same rate as Thunder but with way, way more impact. Makes smoky looks like it's using a feather. Scout can prevent opponents from returning fire more often than you'd think. And if they are using hornet, once you are AP'd it won't take them long with DD to finish you off. Of all the Rail versions, I hate going up against Scout way more than any of the other augments.
  8. Yeah, they do this with almost every single post they are not supporting. Sure, use it every now and then. But for Yellow - it's basically a default reaction. Weird.
  9. Shots that bounce? Hmmm... no that won't work. How about freezing? And burning? They've added those to most other turrets, why not Isida? ?

    Let's Discuss Matchmaking

I'd say Assault on highways (as attacking team) is worse. All that driving - then to fail? Bleccchhh It's silly the defenders know exactly where you are at all times. On the large maps they have a lot of time to prepare a "welcome".

What to buy? Which is better?

You have Hopper, so it should be elementary... ... ... Defender.
  12. Probably. Many of the suggestions for these ridiculous items come from players. 8-year-old players who are big fans of console games like Super Mario Kart. So yeah, in a way we are (partially) to blame.

    Ideas for Turrets!

No hate - just trying to provide constructive criticism. For naming... something with "sonic" in it ... sonic____ or ____ sonic or something to that effect.

    Ideas for Turrets!

For your Sound weapon, maybe rephrase "toxic void" to "sound wave" or something to that effect. "Toxic void" does not make sense and is misleading. I'll be "happy" when you reduce the 'advantages'. Combining long-range + high-damage + multiple targets just copies Thunder/Gauss with a bit of Ares OD thrown in. Then adding the miscelaneous "blur vision" in there really is overload. An idea for a sound-based attack is interesting. But you've got ideas for 2 or even 3 turrets in there. That's 1 or 2 too many...

The stupidest sight in tanki today

CTF on Silence and my team defending the small hill (not the big building) At least half my team is camping up on that small hill. So not only are they not helping to cap, they can't even defend the flag because the flag is between the campers and the enemy. What a bunch of clueless players. E-X-I-T

    Let's Discuss Smoky!

I don't think it's the same thing. I can see the shot going, but the trajectory is way off - height-wise - and it easily misses. Sure we all miss sometimes. But the frequency of misses after the change can't be coincidence. It is far, far more often than before.
  17. Awesome response - you couldn't address any of the three comments, but try to refer to anything external. BRAVO! ?
  18. LOL - now it's the entire teams fault. Holy cow! How many players should it take to stop a Hopper? 4? 5? 8? ?
  19. Can you not look at Profiles? I have over 350 hours on Hunter, majority of them since ODs were introduced. So yes, I have "played Hunter". And you are incorrect - it loses a LOT of it's OD charge when trying and failing to use it.
  20. 1) What can "still be improved"? And how does that prove Hopper is not OP? 2) Titan is NOT clearly OP compared to Mammoth or Ares. Both Ares and Mammoth ODs can kill a Titan inside an activated dome. 3) I did not mention "never flipping" so why are you bringing that up in a response to my post?
  21. What do you mean "save their OD"? As in not use it? How is that beneficial? If they don't try to use - no benefit. If they try and fail then they lose a huge chunk of that built up charge. Again no benefit. What is the point of your comment?
  22. This is incorrect. At the end of the video you can see two of those defenders attempting to get back into firing position. But they are too slow and too late, mostly due to Hoppers movement advantage. You interpret the video to support your argument, but it is just not true.
  23. Does not explain why Hopper, equipped with Defender or Crisis is way more successful. Why are there not more wasps and hornets, equipped with Defender or Crisis, capping more often? Hopper has same health and similar speed. I submit it is the movement characteristics and OD that gives Hopper a significant advantage in these situations than either Hornet or Wasp.

    Let's Discuss Smoky!

Not "insta-hit". Still has a speed, though increased. Better than stock at hitting, but still worse than stock was before the mechanics change.
  25. Well, this can all apply to Hopper as well - so it will still be charging much faster than viking. And the drones and weaknesses of Hopper can all be applied to wasp and hornet. Why are they not leading the pack in scoring like hopper does the majority of the time?
