  1. By "support" do you mean capping? Because that is what Hopper excels at. One hopper can win a battle on it's own. Not many battles I can say that about Viking. When I think of support, Dictator and Titan come to mind. They can help other team-mates.
  2. I can't believe 59 people voted Viking when Hopper is out there. Seems people don't even read the questions. It's nt "which hull do you hate the most". It's based on ... "Performance and Effectiveness based off of Standard MM Battles". And it shouldn't even be close. Oh my.
  3. They didn't just "leave him alone". As ground vehicles they could not possibly maneuver fast enough to get into position to continue to fire. How do you not see that Hoppers movement characteristics alone are a big advantage. It can move sideways without loss of much (if any) speed for crying out loud.

    Have parked one of my 2 accounts. Will see if I park the other as well. Depends on Devs reaction (or lack of) to our concerns on balance.

    I agree. Smoky now has a terrible vertical auto-aim. A significant number of my shots sail over targets and miss - especially when I'm on the move. It never used to be this bad. Smoky's new mechanics have significantly nerfed it's effectiveness.

    LOL. Has nothing to do with it. (and not true) How do possibly come to that conclusion? My most used turret over past year is smoky. Not exactly a short-range turret. You are jamming too many ideas into one turret. Also ignored my last post which suggests you "simplify it". Does "simplify" indicate "not long range"? And how the heck does sound create a "toxic" wave?

    I thought it was sound doing the damage? Now you are saying it's a giant blow-dart? Make up your mind. Anyway... you've lumped way too much into one turret. Simplify it.
  8. I believe Arthur was maybe referring to facing off against one-another in battle. If a dictator is lone tank trying to stop the Hopper from scoring in rugby - it's 90% likely the hopper is scoring. The dictator OD does not give it much of a boost to kill it, and won't prevent it from capping.

  10. It has yet to receive a "hard nerf" on it's OD. It has received two nerfs to it's charging, but nothing that impacts the 3 major components of it's activated OD. Your "terrible excuse" for viking slow charge also applies to Hopper, which still has the fastest charge of all the ODs, even after the two "nerfs". Sure there are some that "whine" about it's easy ability to grab the gold. But you also discount the many posts describing it's ridiculous ability to cap in CTF, Assault and Rugby.

  12. Stun immunity was not available until the last Challenge. And perhaps not everyone had TKs available for that specific Challenge. F2P tankers can get Gold-level one in every 4 challenges.

    Lets start with the idea... Sound + missile + "toxic void" all in one? Those three characteristics do not go together. You are meshing 2 or even 3 ideas together. This should not be one turret. Then there's the specs... You've listed way too many "advantages". Long Range + High Damage + Affect multiple enemies + "blur enemies screen"? You seem to want it all - and that's just too much. Not sure what your idea of "high damage" is - you never spelled that out. Plus we've already got Thunder and Gauss that can be long range + multiple enemies. Gauss can also be considered high damage. Maybe Thunder too? IMO you've got two or three different turrets listed here. And IMO sound is not a long-range type of weapon. Effectiveness would dissipate rapidly over distance.
  14. Not giving up are ya? Your "finishing quota" will be even less useful than KD ratio. Less useful by a country mile. Fix Matchmaker and there will be less reason for players to leave battles...
  15. Without KD being displayed maybe some of those selfish players will actually play the mode they are in - instead of camping in Siege or CP.
  16. They are doing it in bits and pieces - never touching any of the ODs actual effects. Hopper users can claim their hull has been nerfed "multiple times" and is now perfectly balanced.

  18. Looks like Titan is one item getting short end of the stick. So it had cold immunity. What was the other augment?
  19. So you preferred old hunter... somewhat lighter and with drift... and less able to withstand impact from enemy turrets...
  20. Not necessarily. Lots of cover still in Temple and Skylark. Massacre is one of the few large maps where you can see many enemies in the 7 seconds.
  21. This is partly me. I had it long before ODs invented. And I used to like the way it drives. That is until they swaped it's characteristics with Hunter. That made me quite upset - they did that for no reason.
  22. Everywhere, but not often together. The maps are giant and many enemies spread out. The viking hits shift but will not have that many targets to hit in those 7 seconds. I'm not saying viking OD is not potent. It is. What I am saying is that it does not win games for a team like Hopper does. One pumped-up Hopper can win a game in CTF/Assault/Rugby.
