  2. If prices are lowered then I wasted all those crystals getting my modules up toward 50%. A person with 35% now going down to 25% will not have to spend the same crystals I had to spend to get the 35% (50%). I fight players that have 50% against me all the time. Whenever my alt account uses hammer for some reason I end up facing users of hammer modules. I tough it out or switch turrets. We all have more than 1 turret. You have options - start making use of them. Why is it so necessary to improve your ability to kill these tanks? ODs already make it quite easy and we get ODs way too often. You have less invested in modules. You don't lose as much by a nerf to them. We all approach the game differently. Your suggestion punishes those who have sunk resources (time and crystals) into improving the defensive side of things. I've seen this suggestion before - a while ago - and when I looked at the OPs profile I discovered they favored long-range turrets and had not invested much in modules. Was that you? Or are you the second player to suggest nerfs that will make it easier for them?
  3. It's impact is already nerfed -66% compared to stock - mostly a tickle now. You actually feel it affects your performance when hit by it?
  4. I understand what you are saying. But you ignored my point entirely. The mk8 loses an extra 5% even though they spent more crystals. You are punishing them for investing more in modules. Are you suggesting that 35% in your proposal should cost the same as 50% does now? There's 14 turrets and only 3 slots. How many of the enemy do you regularly face that have protection against you? 1 or maybe 2 per battle? How is that a significant issue? IS RAIL YOUR FAV TURRET? ? I notice that only one of your modules have been upgraded to mk7. A wee bit of bias leaking through me-thinks. ?
  5. The mk7 loses 10%. The MK8 loses 15%. Spent more crystals and loses more of their base protection. Does not sound fair to me.
  6. This favors long-range weapons which will have an easier time one-shotting targets. A tank with short-range turret won't have a chance to get close to long-rangers, especially if they manage to get in more than 1 hit. Gauss EMP is a prime example. Strips away your DA and without a decent module you are naked. The silly augment allows the Gauss to shoot again before your supplies are available. There are lots of boosts to damage now, including drones and augments.

    containers are totally random and (way) more often than not result in more supplies - have enough of those. I'm not a buyer so my supply of TKs is very limited. I'm not spending them unless I get hull augments that I really want. None in this Challenge that meet my requirements. So spending 500 TK on a "cool" paint that in no way affects my in-battle performance is a non-starter.

    Yeah - had a player named skulldozerPrime sitting in our battle and doing nothing but chatting. Players asked him/her to either play or leave and only response was for us to shut up. Even short a player we thankfully managed a tie. But players like that just ruin the game.

    Wait a minute - is that max # ricochets new? Don't recall seeing that before. The thing is - many maps are not really suitable for bouncing. Sure there's some with right-angled walls and tunnels. But a lot of maps are just too darn huge, or have no walls (like massacre) or have angled walls like Yorkshire and Wolfenstein. FYI - when combined with Hunter on CP battles, Plasmagun is pretty darn effective.

    I don't play many of my battles in slow motion so... really... aside from in-game performance ... are we gonna notice any of these aesthetic changes while we are running for our life or trying to destroy another tin box?

    What they've done so far is all short-term $ fixes. Only way the game can thrive is if they get a lot more new players to join AND STAY. Players coming in on ground floor that have all the equipment to invest into. But the short term $ fixes they keep implementing sabotages any hope of new players staying. I wouldn't start a new account today. No way. Not with the way MM works and the silly experience boost. They are taking from Peter to Pay Paul.
  14. I'm talking Titan here, not hopper or hornet. And your example I responded to was Siege - which involves trying to stay in place and cap as opposed to moving around with a ball or flag. Unless stun immunity prevents my already placed dome from disappearing it won't be nearly as beneficial as not losing my supplies. Those two seconds of moving do not compensate for keeping all your supplies. As a heavy hull I'm far more often gonna support the cappers than I am being one of the cappers unless it's a very small map or I'm the "back-up" travelling right behind the carrier (who would also have to be slow or I wouldn't be close enough to be effective). 9 times out of 10 when playing a Titan I'd rather have EMP protection than stun protection. AP protection is the holy grail as it makes you much safer in the dome - allowing the dome to do what it's designed for - protecting you. It's a rare things these days with all the Titan counters out there.

    I agree it's for a mechanics change. But I'm still not convinced it's for nerfing purposes. Well - until I see what speed they give the projectile. But the thing is, smoky is not OP at all. It really does not need a nerfing.
  16. Stun immunity won't save your buffs. If I'm at the location, and hunter zaps me, moving is the least of my worries.

    At short to medium ranges and on slower moving targets probably not much difference. But at long ranges where there's actual travel time, and against the faster moving targets (think light hulls on SB) I really believe smoky will be less effective with more missed shots. Not to mention hopper on Crisis.

    That can't be true ? I don't think they are doing this as a nerf feature - just like the change to thunder wasn't designed as a nerf. It's an aesthetics thing. A slower shot does inevitably end up as a nerf though.

    You are not wrong. They have lost a lot of players, and keep implementing ideas that generate $ short-term but keep hurting them long-term.

    So smoky getting nerfed with no instant hit - will definitely affect criticals which are important at long range. No news on fixing Matchmaker rank-spreads? You know - when a player ends up against enemies 8 or even 10 ranks above? DURING PEAK HOURS no less...

    The stupidest sight in tanki today

    Been placed on a lot of garbage teams in Siege tonight. Many players refusing to go near cap-point. Player on my team in viking gauss was 20m from cap-point, but instead of trying grab the spot from a couple reds, sat back and camped. Of course the reds capped the point while I died. Quickly left that battle.

  24. If it was AP immunity - maybe. How often am I really worried about a Titan being stunned for 2 seconds. And that account already has a mk7 mammoth. Have a lot of upgrading to do on items I already own - not gonna start investing in another heavy hull. Mammoth cold immunity. LOL. Didn't they just give that away?
  25. Driver does not increase it that much. Still doesn't explain how some of the 8 enemies can't counter it. I play Titan a lot and get AP-d or lose my dome a lot. My guess is that there are still tons of players using the most selfish OD out there right now - the viking. No idea why I see so many of these hulls in battles. It is the least team-centered OD out there IMO. And it would have trouble with Titans.
