Unless you have a Dictator on your team 3 ODs / game seems generous for a Viking. FYI - hornet recharges OD a lot faster than viking. Passive charge is more than 2x faster.

LOL... never does 900 to me - always does a LOT more than that. As for score... too bad - they would not be selecting it for that. Augments like shock-freeze and Smoky Assault rounds are definitely trading off score for a tactical advantage.

Why is accessing messages in my inbox such a huge pain? Every time I try to load one it gives me a GateWay timeout - all I want to do is delete some old ones. And I'm only using 6% of the available space.

They should be choosing the augment for specific reasons. Laying a mine that does 3k damage and that 95% of the player base does not protect against is one of them. It should be a lot weaker in one dimension to get a unique ability (laying mines in enemy base) added to the game. Does not have to be a 1:1 trade off - again - it's optional. So no splash and maybe the mines last 40 seconds. Definitely not permanent since these magnums often stay safely in their base for this sole purpose.

Why? They are choosing to use that augment to lay mines. They actually want to miss - is way, way more effective. And it makes no sense at all to have a high-explosive (splash) shell lay a mine. Just like it makes no sense at all for Gauss EMP to have splash. It's an EMP shell, not a HE shell. Can't have-your-cake-and-eat-it-too.

Well, it did go 13-1, and maybe was using the "C"-team items. Might have just been "slumming"... -
"team" just means you are not doing it all yourself. Unless you are in a Clan or a Group there's no real "teams" like in sports. Think of it more as "sides". Most players who might switch in this situation would likely do so if they felt there was a chance to make a difference. They would die less than those on the "losing team" and would also likely kill more of those on "winning" team, and maybe even get a cap. Currently switching sides (in Custom) means you are giving up accrued score. And it should stay that way if implemented in MM, as score padded from "winning team" would likely place that tanker at top of losing team, bumping down the new "team-mates".

Why? If they are exiting the winning team (and giving up battle score in the process) to try and help the losing team - how is that a bad thing?

Which is the opposite of what Devs claim - that close, tense battles are not good for the game. What a crock of ?

There is already a permanent exp boost in effect, so you really don't need anything on top of that. You should be playing to complete Challenges, missions and fun. The 40k ranking bonus is insignificant once you are at Legend rank. And even if you add 2x cry in addition to another 2x exp boost, that is still bad for lower ranks because they rank up faster than their actual playing experience dictates. New players need time to get the feel of the game. Ranking them up before they are ready (game-playing experience, not scoring experience) will just make it harder for them than it needs to be.

Healing is meh and you can only attack one target at a time. There are better options for attacking. Even more reason to not use Isida. They've taken all the fun out of that turret. -
Well - this is another key question - which leads back to my post. They can somehow simplify things and still make it fair. I used to use Isida a lot. Now, hardly ever. It is not fun to play, and scoring generally is poor unless you play in a group and attach yourself to a friend - kinda like a lamprey. Bleccchhh.

Hunter has to get close to do this - the stun is short and not guaranteed to kill. I've survived stunning by Hunters and then proceeded to kill them with my own OD. They ruined Titan OD when they took away the healing, boosted the defense and allowed many ODs to bypass it. It's a complete gamble to deploy the Dome unless you face a team of complete noobs. I agree the defense should be lowered to ~ 60-70% - that's 3000+ damage from a bomb unless you have DA. Vikings can probably do that much damage with OD, as I've killed JUGs with a viking-smoky before. But no ignoring the dome and Domes don't cancel each other. AP applies to tank, not dome (it never made sense about the dome as that is NOT armor) so armor and DA ignored. Basically, the Dome needs to actually work as protection and not be countered by so many ODs. It does not move so any tank in there is helpless unless the dome defends. -
Are the silly rank-spreads the new normal? Been like this for over 20 days - how long does it take to fix a mistake? I guess we can all be thankful these programmers are not working for the airline industry ...

They pretty much have already. Between the fast generation due to scoring, OD-supply drops and Dictators, there's maybe 30 seconds in the battle (basically the start) when someone does not have OD. After that, gloves are off.

What do you expect if it's 5 vs 1? Of course you need help - just like the Titan is getting help from 4 other tanks in your example. I alternate between Hunter and Titan when I play Siege. Not my fav mode so I only play it when I have a mission for that. -

Where are the Hunters? I think part of the problem is that so many players use Viking - and I don't understand why? Many players are so stubborn and just stick with viking - then complain they can't kill the Titan. Or don't even try and just kill players on the outside - not even those trying to cap. -

Agree with a lot ... but... - don't know what you mean by 2018 Isida - nerf Titan OD? wow. It's countered by 6 ODs plus the AP turret augment. What more do you want?
