    As I said before (above?) Crisis is not the biggest problem. Hopper (with it's OD) is. Crisis just enables Hopper to be even more OP. The SB bonus of 40% + 70% is just too much - especially on small to medium maps where the tank will be out of sight before you can get off more than 1 shot. And since I'm not a buyer I do not have unlimited batteries. Which means I can't use the drone 24/7. I place well when I do equip it it. Unfortunately it's not as often as I's like.

    Yes. But does have reduced AP time. I meant balanced in terms of the individual using it. Has more restrictions.

    OH.... for some reason I took Crisis giving tank 70% total boost instead of 40% boost. So 40% + 30%. And you are saying it's 40% + 70%? So better than double speed of stock? That IS way too much if true.

    True. But I just meant it could do mass killing without LOS. Stay safe in it's base and lob over obstacles since you can see where the active cap points are.

    Stand up and fight - Defender IS better. I put it on my Titan with smoky-incendiary and more often than not place in top-3. And that's me usually getting to mid-field and chewing away at defenders and attackers in Rugby and CTF. True - not many have stun immunity. I only have 1 immunity - EMP on my other account. I don't think you can reduce Crisis SB to 40%. That's a stock SB, and part of attraction of Crisis is that it gets a boost to whichever supply it has active to compensate for having no ther supplies active.

    Well that sounds like soooo much fun... I happen to like CTF mode. The fact TO introduced a broken hull/OD should not mean I have to avoid it. It's not Crisis per say that is the biggest problem. It Crisis combined with Hopper. Crisis on wasp or hornet is still formidable. But on Hopper it's a different level altogether.

    That chart misses the whole point of Crisis. It is not designed to "stand up and fight". It is designed for capping, which it does very well - especially in the early stages of a battle where no ODs exist and the extra speed allows it to get to a possibly undefended flag.

    1) Balance does not happen all that often these days. More often than not it's a blow-out for one side. I think the larger maps makes blow-outs a bit more difficult (if players on both sides actually play) 2) Would it have been less balanced if OP player was not camping for kills?

    May not have SB, but as a light hull Hopper has good speed and great acceleration. And even when it does not have SB, that is offset by fact the Armor gets a 50%-100% boost on top of the DA boost of 100%. Will often survive long enough to get under cover.
  12. I don't see them ever going back to all ODs = Zero Supply BUT... If they ever did I doubt they would include the recharge function. I don't think the original had that - it was added to beef it up as it was weak compared to most other ODs.

    Who cares how many times you killed him and what his KD was. If was worried about KD he would use Defender. He accomplished his goals - capping - and his team won. That's EXACTLY what it was designed to do. And he did this vs many defenders. Imagine how often he can cap with half that many.

    Took them over two years to "balance" hornet. Would not be surprised if they wait that long for Hopper. And yeah, 16 vs 16 is too many. Very hard to cap with so many defenders.

    The OD for hopper is OP. No one likes playing against in cap battle modes because it really is unfair. It needs a nerf, just like hornet finally got (somewhat). Baby steps.

    First off, if you want people to read your posts then I suggest you use the Enter/Return key on your keyboard. Your wall of text is the only thing that might prevent me from "processing all the information". And your smiley-face is disingenuous at best. Of course the game is P2W. But there are levels of P2W. And finding the balance (how much P2W) is the trick - which TO is currently losing. Nothing you've written negates my post. Buyers have Drones, and Modules, and Augments AND they also have OD. Those ODs that they also have allow them to have an even larger power gap, because they are getting those ODs way more often. So what if you as non-buyer get OD a couple of times per battle. Your buyer enemy is getting it twice as often and stomping you into the ground.

    Wrong. ODs are positive feedback loops. You generate ODs by time AND scoring. Buyers will score faster, and generate ODs first. These initial ODs will allow buyers to generate the next OD even quicker than the first. OP attributes (ODs, Augments, Drones) all favor buyers. The more layers of OP items added to the game the larger the power gap.

    Of course it's to make the hull popular. They want to sell hulls. They can strive for balance. Most of the ODs are somewhat balanced - even hornet now. Any hornet user that complains their OD is too weak is either lazy, or does not have a clue how to use it. And what advantage do non-buyers have over buyers right now? Buyers have everything non-buyers have and more. It's odd you still do not realize ODs make the power gap between buyers and non-buyers even larger. They have better tanks, generate score more often, and thus generate OD more often. If buyers have OD more often they are way, way more powerful than non-buyers.

    Brigadier - LOL. Only 8 ranks lower than the Legends. MatchMaker truly is dumb.

    That's bunk. It's fast, like the other light hulls. And has great acceleration. We're not fighting in a closed 8 x 8 room with nowhere to hide. Speed counts for a lot in this game. Hornets were popular long before ODs were introduced.
