    Explain how you figure most of those things can't be fixed because I really do not believe that. And you think groups vs non-groups is in any way fair? When I see that guess what I'm gonna do - every time... Just finished another battle where a Clan vs non-Group was a total blowout. Only reason I stayed for duration was I had an earn crystal missions. How you can justify that is beyond me.
  2. Have not noticed Spectrum module. But then again I don't really pay too much attention to that. The battles are so short and the game so fast I rarely visit the garage to switch up - unless there's like 7 enemies with protection against me.

    I'm not talkin about skill. I am talking about... - one team capping a flag before defenders have finished loading - inactive tanks staying in battle for over 2 minutes - rank-spreads of 8 or more - getting placed in a battle with 3 minutes or less - getting the same map over and over - Groups vs non-groups All of the above happens, and could be fixed in one way or another. But in all the years MM has been around the issues have not been addressed. Instead TO introduces new augments or new hulls or new drones. Probably because it's a quick way to generate cash. But that leaves a broken game.
  4. Recently finished a CTF battle where enemy team had 4 Defender drones. I think we lost 5-1. My main gripe with it is the cooldown bonus. It's like they can have it on 24/7.
  5. It's the ability to switch back-and-forth that makes it OP. Need defense? It's there in an instant. Need Speed to cover those last few yards? You have SB and it's way better than normal SB. Players mostly use Crisis to cap and score points. These are the players that are usually capping within the first 30 seconds of a match since the SB is +70%. Nothing can match that.
  6. Wasn't suggesting it was "1-minute-late". But your short range attack vs a very fast hull does imply you are killing them as they get to a cap-point. Anyone can kill them after they've capped. Who cares at that point? They've scored. Unless you are playing against the most noob Hoppers I've ever seen, and I'd like some of that action.
  7. Should be checkboxes, not radio-buttons. There's more than 1 I'd like to see nerfed.
  8. Aside from the ridiculous conversion TO did for m1.10 items to mk7, the new system is designed to reduce power gap. The current impediment to balancing is the wide rank-ranges MatchMaker implements. If that was narrowed, battles would be more fair and there would not be a need to match on GS - which would not work the way you hope it would. I'd love to have a lobby where you can see map and tailor equipment to match. This might also prevent fast-loaders to battle from capping undefended flags as battle starts. Have campaigned numerous times. No positive reaction from TO so far.

  11. Same way a hunter gets points from it's team-mates kills. And why can't you kill some of those yourself? You get the exact same benefits...
  12. I agree. but Devs, in their infinite "wisdom" have done the opposite. Most likely to placate the short attention span of immature players and mobile players. Devs seem to cater to these groups at the expense of anyone who has played the game for more than 2 years.
  13. Well, that's exactly what they have done with hornet OD. It's tactical because all team-mates benefit. And as for hunter capturing a flag... it may or may not get away since the stun is not that long and defenders are free to shoot again pretty quickly. And it's not like Hunter has hopper's speed.
  14. This part makes sense... not so much the other. The thing is... you will always take damage - so adrenaline will kick in. You can even control that with Thunder and Gauss. Status effects though... outside of overheating, you have no control. I personally think, along with most reasonable people, that IB should only ever kick in when the tank is actually taking self damage from overheating. Not the first time the Devs have "missed".
  15. The hornet with the OD can do the exact same thing to that target as it could before. Ignores ALL defenses, including Titan Dome and can still one-shot those targets. It's no worse than when a Hunter zaps an enemy and friendlies finish off those defenseless targets. What score does Hunter get for that?
  16. Can't do it by GS alone. A) why would anyone upgrade? You just end up with harder opponents B) No reason to buy if you don't get advantage. Game will fold. End of story C) A mid-rank player that upgrades one combo could be stuck playing Gismos and Legends. Again - why upgrade? D) Prevent equipment change? So you have Shaft-hornet and you end up on Archipalego... um... good luck Tighten up the rank-spreads and many problems will be solved. No more fighting someone 8 ranks above you. Sure there will be players with equipment that is somewhat better. But the new mk-divisions have lowered the power gap some since they can't upgrade until they level more.

  20. I'm not understanding what you mean by this. Which "player" are you referring to? And how could a vulcan augment inflict freezing or cause AP?
  21. Every other week we have someone posting something like this. And you know what? IT. JUST. WON'T. WORK. There are many reasons why players leave battles - many of them completely legitimate. - Enemy team caps a flag before defenders have loaded. In a 7 minute battle that is a huge handicap. Would you start a hockey game spotting the other team a free goal? I don't think so... - 1 or more players on my team enter battle with a grossly low GS compared to everyone else playing = MULT. - Team-mates sitting around chatting way more than they are playing, and their score reflects that = MULT - a player on my team not actively playing. AT. ALL. It's like playing a sport with a permanent penalty. = MULT. - Grossly unbalanced teams - easy to tell by the ranks, and the early scoring reflects this. - Getting placed in a battle with 4 or less minutes to go. - Team is so weak players are constanly getting spawn-killed. E-X-I-T. - End up in a battle where I'm 6 to 8 ranks below everyone else. Good luck completing any missions. - MM places me in Archipalego, Stadium or Wolfenstein. Adios. Matchmaker has a ton of flaws that could be corrected, and that would lead to fewer players leaving battles early. But suggesting early leavers be punished will never work. Players will continue to exit battles because of any of the reasons I list above. And if you ban them - guess what happens? You have fewer and fewer players in the game and MatchMaker will get even worse. How does that help? Tanki X had punishment for "deserters". That turned out great for Tank X. Right?

    Oddly enough I rarely equip Thunder module and my default set-up includes Gauss module. Just hate being one-shot I guess...

    So one or the other? Might need some clarification on "ONE". Modules are never ignored? Might have worked. But I'm pretty sure there'd be more than a few complaints about ANY of the solutions. Hornet players liked to one-shot targets 100% chance... so either of your nerfs would lower those chances below 100%.
