Done, in 9 hours total. Yes, you can use it if you received it.

It's likely that we'd be able to use it since we're getting the Drone itself. I'm halfway done on a lower account. May get it done within the next few days.
-
No no, Vulcan best sniper.
-
Did you wait until the timer popped up under the mission before exiting? Never mind, it's not counting for me either.
-
I never thought they would have made a mission to use specific turrets, and if so, I thought it would have been melee or short range turrets rather than long range turrets. Looks like we may see more camping and TDM in every game mode. 1,000 Speed Boosts for 10 Double Damages? Is that correct? If I have time, I'll be going for that Blaster Drone. Seems reachable for me. And what's a plus of many Wasps on the field? It's easy kills for long range turrets. So everyone wins I guess.

I've been getting Osa, Bridges, Serpuhov and Massacre the most these days. I've been getting Rio a bit more often recently but still rare. Silence I believe is the rarest for me at the moment. The frequency of the maps can also change with the modes you play. If you only play modes with limited number of maps relative to other modes, then you'd see certain maps more often. If you are to record frequency, do it in TDM, CTF and CP.

One factor is that Firebird has damage over time after its engagement ends, that can deal up to 3,000 damage. If the Twins dies, it will deal no more damage. Because it has damage over time, its direct damage is less than that of Isida and Freeze, so in up-close duels with a turret such as Twins, it would lose. But the Twins would also die from afterburn. If supplies are being used, then yes, the Twins will win and be able to use a repair kit. The range at which Twins' damage isn't effective isn't large. 85% of its maximum range, it will deal full damage. It also has high impact force coupled with its fast firing rate to help it out in close duels. It can disrupt a Firebird's aim if at the right angle and distance, which will make them receive less damage from you. Firebird has immense post-engagement effectiveness. Twins lives in the moment. Twins can damage multiple enemies at once because it has innate splash damage...if anyone would ever use it.

It would be better to do it without any drones rather than without supplies. Supplies are essential there. That's the strength of the old Assault Drone. The new one isn't as good unfortunately. I only use it if i see an immobile group. I'll take this into consideration.

Nothing changed with your Freeze's parameters. Freeze just happened to have a relatively bad conversion due to its low unlock rank and price at M2 before the conversion. You can see similar happenings with Hornet and Isida, who both had low prices and unlock ranks for M2s, but Freeze is the most unlucky.

That's a large GS difference.

This shouldn't be allowed (plus bad map choice for event)

That's the most extreme case I've seen so far. -
Yeah this is what I want to achieve with it. Still a bit awkward using it with Hornet so I use it with Hunter. Still trying to get accustomed to detonating it at longer distances.

What's with the word useless being thrown so haphazardly? It has other effective uses than for one-shotting light hulls. The extra damage allows it to 2-shot medium hulls faster than Stock can 3-shot them. That extra damage can save you when you can only use one more shot on a damage enemy before you die, and many times, Stock Shaft's arcade damage falls just short of killing them, which SBE can do. It increases the minimum sniping damage so quickscopes have more value.

Here marks the anniversary of the implementation of Overdrives. From the Ice Age mess we had for Cosmonautics last year to the diverse use of Overdrives after many changes this year. Wasp had seen its Overdrive greatly increased in effectiveness. Hornet's Overdrive went through back and forth changes to its core mechanics. Hunter's Overdrive effectiveness being decreased over time. Viking's Overdrive effectiveness taking a sharp initial decline to the settled powerhouse it is today with turret and alteration combos. Dictator's Overdrive preaching the benefits of teamwork. Titan's Overdrive rivalling the Juggernaut's throne for survivability despite a decrease in effectiveness. Mammoth's Overdrive with its interstellar debut to the need-for-speed deathtouch it is today. Each underwent different changes. Some more than others. They changed the way battles were played. Closed old strategies, and opened new ones to the light for the future of Tanki. Hunter has recently fallen from its throne. And the guillotine now eyes Hornet. A nerf is wanted by many. What kind of treatment do you want to give it? Do you want to give it the Titan/Mammoth treatment with a rework-but-overall-nerf? Or the Hunter treatment with a sharp decline in total effectiveness?

It's satisfying to use when you get accustomed to timing when to detonate the missiles. It allows you to hit enemies where Stock cannot. Of course, the downside of decreased projectile speed is noticeable, and you can no longer spam mash your keyboard for that last missile in that very tight duel because you have a high chance of detonating it in your face. In that tense situation, try to keep a calm mind time it as accurately as possible with one press so it wouldn't detonate in your face. A cool thing is that you can detonate salvo missiles when they're in the air. I'm not sure if they deal damage when that happens though.

Rio is available in every mode except TJR I believe.

Being able to kill targets faster before overheating was good. They decreased its effectiveness when overheating, and increased it when it wasn't. Stock Vulcan melts targets like a furnace up close. From calculations, it seems that it's like Magnum where the real strength begins in the highest modifications. Mk1 Vulcan should deal about the same damage per second as before the rework, but at Mk8, it has a 45% increase in DPS compared to before the rework. Unprotected light hulls can be dead in 1 second. Unprotected heavy hulls can be dead in 2 seconds. Your best bet is to drive perpendicular to the Vulcan and at a far enough range so that it's hard it to keep consistent DPS on you. I believe it's too strong at close range and too weak at long range, effectively making it a short range turret with long range capabilities. And as DaringDeer had pointed out with his stats on the Legends he follows, Vulcan is the most used and scores the best.
-
And then they gave it two damage buffs and a slight spin-up time buff. It's not like they nerfed it and just left it there. It was given compensation for the nerf.

Viking's Overdrive is the most potent in that mode. Viking has sustained high damage throughout 7 seconds, enough to end the Juggernaut quickly if it has no protection module from the turret. Hunter is potent when used with a Booster Drone, or with Cyclone Striker to keep the Juggernaut still for the majority of the acquisition. It relies on something that can capitalise on the Juggernaut being stunned for those 2.7 seconds. It means it'll need high damage and it'll need it fast, which is where Booster and Cyclone Striker fit in best.
-
It's just a huge amount of health. You deal full damage to them. It can with DD, but the Juggernaut would kill the Ricochet long before that happens. Only thing the EMP does to the Juggernaut is stun it and stop whatever reloading/acquisition/charge up the Terminator us doing. If the Juggernaut is going up against multiple enemies, it's very unfortunate to be stunned while you're charging up the Railgun of your Terminator. It leaves you defense less for a good number of seconds.

What damage reduction?

This happens occasionally in Flash for me.
