Forgot about this lovely spot as well. Shuts down 1/3 of that side of the map for the team below. Anyone coming from that side is forced to use a repair kit early or die trying.

Terminator is its own turret with its own damage. The effect of Armadillo on the Terminator has been reduced, but not removed. A medium hull with DA can be one-shotted with a Juggernaut's critical hit. Armadillo allows you to survive as if it were a normal damage shot. Just yesterday I saw a Viking who was most definitely going to kill our Juggernaut but instantly died due to a lucky 1% crit. Armadillo would have saved them and the Juggernaut would have died.

update Patch Update #705 - Released 28th October 2022
TheCongoSpider replied to Marcus in News Archive
It forces people to actually equip a drone now. It's been more than a year since the update tying supply strength to drone upgrades yet there were still so many players not equipping drones. Effectively cannon fodder on your team that sometimes makes you lose battles. There have already been complaints here about people's supplies being shut off so you can instantly tell who weren't using them before. -
It's good for shutting down a small part of the map, often entrances to bases. Deathly slow ball speed and a significantly longer ball reload force it to be stationary alongside the ball to justify picking it over the others. This limits its potential in normal gameplay. You can play it like a Stock Tesla and still do kinda well as you can use ally/enemies' faster Tesla balls to your own benefit, but why would you take away your self-sufficiency when other options have that and more? Some maps have structures that Minus-Field and its variants can exploit and are better than Dilatory. Some maps have spots on Dilatory can effectively make use of. One that comes to mind instantly is in one of the bases in Scope. The chain can reach toward the ground and can weaken/kill anyone passing around there. It's one of the reasons why I hate playing in that map. Another is the middle point in Chernobyl SGE. In the end, it's another case of overnerfing it into a niche. Release Dilatory was too powerful and made hell when in groups with Titans. Current Dilatory makes it near impossible to exploit like before. Minus-Field still has yet to have its price be increased to 245k so maybe when Tesla gets its price hike, its augments may change alongside it. Not sure when that's happening though. The last time a turret got hiked was 5 months ago.

Like I said, doing so would not let me load into the battle.
-
Did you do this on PC? I have not been able to play that mode because the app either crashes and won't let me reload into the map, or it may load but he unplayable with constant screen freezes.

"Fixed some critical damage related bugs"
-
You cannot deal critical damage to yourself. It will register as a if you shot yourself with normal damage. When the critical damage update came, there was a brief period where it was bugged to deal critical damage to yourself but that was quickly fixed.
-
It is an intentional update that happened on Friday.

The mobile version of the hull received unusual impact from some of the turrets, especially the hammer and rail gun.
TheCongoSpider replied to Catallena in Archive
Yes this has been the case for roughly about a year now. Mobile players take increased impact force from Smoky, Railgun, Hammer and Terminator. The upcoming transition from Android to HTML5 should be the fix to the issue. You will just have to wait until then (as we have been waiting for a year). -
The special mode has not been working for me since the server restart. Initially I would be able to load into a battle but get constant frame freezes, like these. If I try to reload, it may load, freeze in a frame, and relaunch the app again, or it may send me to a battle and give this:

It is intentional. We remind you Bydo not to unequip your drone. Instead, equip Brutus.

update Patch Update #705 - Released 28th October 2022
TheCongoSpider replied to Marcus in News Archive
There are 30-31 days in a month. A challenge will be lasting usually 15 days. Players will need to complete a few special missions to complete the challenge if they cannot make the extra stars from battles. -
update Patch Update #705 - Released 28th October 2022
TheCongoSpider replied to Marcus in News Archive
Yes it's currently 1 second. Sometimes patch notes say the darnedest things, don't they? The removal of the extra range should have been done from the start. It became egregious with the recent buff because more range makes it scale better towards weak damage. Add in EMP to weaken tanks and it just became too potent compared to the other Twins augments, not like it wasn't already. It's still gonna be powerful but the gap between it and the other status augments will finally be smaller. It creates another barrier between old and new players. Ever since 2020 the game has been becoming increasingly frustrating for new players and 2021 shot it out of the park. It's no longer worth making a new account to play on and now people who didn't have the augment won't have it for sale anymore. It's not a good look that any random augment can suddenly be bumped up to Legendary without you being able to purchase it again. Maybe the contracts system and the upcoming showcase overhaul will rectify that but it doesn't sting any less right now. -
update Patch Update #705 - Released 28th October 2022
TheCongoSpider replied to Marcus in News Archive
Sad to see this happening. Another layer of uncertainty for players. It's wild that it took almost a year for this to happen. Now I wonder how long it will take Thunder's garage augments to be playable again. I give it 3 more months of suffering. Understandable. -
update Patch Update #704 - Released 21st October 2022
TheCongoSpider replied to Marcus in News Archive
It's a big nerf for those using it with drones that don't enhance damage. Helios was nerfed last month. It's only Vacuum who hasn't been touched since release. -
In your opinion, how useful is the mini-map radar, and the Hornet overdrive (wallhack)?
TheCongoSpider replied to Maf in Archive
Mobile doesn't have a mini map. When I was shortly on PC, I didn't use it often. The tripling of Hornet's Overdrive duration made it seem like wallhacks was from then on intended to be a primary feature of battles. I hope this increased uptime made people realise how crucial a Hornet OD is for your team to have. Being able to see enemy positions, turret-hull combos and HP bars for up to 90 seconds (if they survive and no other radars stack) is huge. I don't play with sound so I have to rely on the visual queue for Hornet's Overdrive by a small "Your armour is destroyed" randomly popping up on the screen for 2 seconds. If no enemy is trying to get my attention, I try to find and dispatch of the Hornet as quickly as possible, if possible. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I fail and have to play with the enemy knowing our positions for the next minute or more. Since the initial change, I've had a few battles where there was almost no downtime on Hornet ODs on our team. Feels good to have wallhacks for almost the entire battle. -
The higher ranks have access to a plethora of equipment that can make capturing flags easier, or make capturing it harder for enemies. Paladin currently is most suited for capturing flags with its Overdrive that can reduce enemy armour around it, heal itself and make it immune to any status effect that could immediately stop it from getting out of the base.

There are rare occasions where after dying with Shaft, your camera is zoomed in until your subsequent death. I'm not sure what triggers it but I assume it's something to do with the sniping mode.

It happens sometimes. The patch notes show us what to expect. We see what really happens when the update goes live. A line in the note may not go through last second. There may be changes that are not announced in the note or are to be implied by another change. An example of the latter is Mammoth's Overdrive in the recent patch. Its score penalty after activation has always been duration + 1 second since October 2019 IIRC. Its duration got changed to 15 seconds on Friday and as a result, its score penalty was changed to 16 seconds. Another example of implications is turret critical chance. They mention the changes that are going to happen to the maximum critical chance. Going off of how they do the chances, you can infer what may be changed. Hammer's scheme was 12, 0, 4, 8, 12. The patch note mentioned the critical hit chance being reduced from 12% to 10%. After the update, it did not go to 10, 0, 4, 8, 10. It went to 10, 0, 5, 10. Similarly for Tesla whose chance was stated to be increased from 12% to 16%. It did not go from 12, 0, 6, 12 to 16, 0, 6, 12, 16. It went to 16, 0, 4, 8, 12, 16. Another example of an unannounced change was Firebird's heating rate being increased by boosted damage. That happened in the patch where they nerfed the heating rate across modifications from 0.2-0.5 to 0.2-0.4. In the end, it's a slight nerf to short-burst ignitions at Mk7+ if you did not have BD enabled, and a buff if you it enabled.

Again, it did not change in that regard. All that happened was the duration of the Jammer was reduced from 5 seconds to 3 seconds. Did you not play with or against it at all since that patch? It applies the effect on every hit, regardless of if it is from the ball, a not al chain lightning or critical chain lightning. Every Jammer augment has the characteristic of jamming on every shot now.
