    Fair enough. You may be right. Two of my main turrets in mm battles are freeze and fire so Ive used them plenty but not for quite a long time...looks like I need to go visit them again! I do think that camping is mostly due to players finding safety in the base from being one shot themselves by powerful augments. I hate dying suddenly when I previously had full health

    I found the opposite I think. When I see a player with fire/freeze/hammer they always seem to be very effective. Maybe just my point of view tho

  6. Despite my previous post about one-sided battles, when there are good battles, the battles tend to be great. I may be wrong but it does feel like overdrives have been slowed down a bit, which really minimizes their impact on the game, which I really like. Turret and hull balance seems solid too. Sometimes I see players who just don't die, and that sucks, but many games don't involve those folks.
  7. Played a game earlier...Assault. Started out in one of those "Wow I'm playing well!" games. But then it turned into a massacre with my team repeatedly spawnkilling the opposing team. It feels good in the sense that I got a good score, but I can't imagine such games make players want to stick around. The current form of tanki does have a lot of good things going for it, but it seems devs still have not decided to take any steps to helping equalize games. What steps, if any, are being taken to keep one sided battles from happening? When there are good battles, I do think Tankidevs have done a great job at maintaining some balance in the game. With a few exceptions, I see a wide variety of turrets and hulls, which is hard to accomplish. The main problem, imo, is that many games involve spawn killing which is just so unfun. Its hard to play when you spawn in to face a fully drugged tank.

    This seems like a nice idea, or like what Maf said, only including mines placed directly. Mines having a role in the game is a good thing, but too many can immediately be oppressive.

    Dunno about protections, but I do feel you on the railgun front. It is annoying that railgun seems to regularly face more protections than turrets that more regularly dominate games

    So...hornet. It used to be way OP and maybe now is weaker for the user but wow! It is so good to have a teammate with hornet. My fav combo thrives on ambushes and being able to see the enemy completely changes games. I love it!
  14. Hi Bracco! Ive had the same feelings/experiences you share. I do think if you give enough time, you can adopt strategies to adapt to the new game. I can share some that Ive made. 1: Ive gone exclusively to playing wasp. Its squishy but it lets me run away from the 9999 gs players. When you see an elite player, dont take them on, avoid them. 2: Youve got Isida maxed? Leave maps that dont work well for you. I use shaft/wasp now so I love big maps with lots of terrain that let me move quickly without being in line of fire. 3: I probably have more but its late and Im tired. Point is, there are things you can do to succeed

  17. Ugh, I cant insert a screenshot for some reason. I was in a game that really shows the worst parts of the game. A smoky crusader was in our base the entire game spawn killing us and our team couldnt clear him. He went 61-9 in a short game. Took on 4 of us and emerge unscathed. The games are basically based on whether there are 9999 gs players or not. If so, the games tend to be terrible for the other players. The rest of the time the games are a lot of fun.

    What a right up...do you know everything? ??? very detailed. Correct me that your final words are that sledge is drastically reduced except at almost melee range? I dont have any other augments but Ive always liked thunder. Is stock worth running?

    Ive tried Thunder a few times with sledgehammer augment and it feels terrible. Am I just noob or is that augment outdated. Would stock work better?

    When I recently started playing a bit again, Scorpion was a really frustrating turret but now I kinda like it. Not that Ive played with it at all, but it is easy enough to play around and avoid, but punishing if you dont. Adds some unique gameplay without being too powerful

    I have since these replies switched to using SBE and RFM and have seen more success. Shaft struggles in closed maps or small maps but I can either go RFM or just leave and find a new game in those cases

  25. So I have only done one account and that account was started January 2018. I recall it taking me a long time to rank to legend whereas there are ppl who are legend 900 now. Has xp gain been increased in recent years?
