  2. Is the probattle scene active? Are there lots of battles besides xpbp? Its 400k to buy the pass I believe so its gotta be worth a lot
  3. Yeah. I don't mind hard battles, just want to be able to contribute. Three attempted battles this morning, spawn into a base surrounded by enemies with full supplies and overdrive active, die, repeat. The pushed floaters and new turrets make using favorite combos very unfun too. Its good though...I've spent too many hours playing this lol. This will keep me from getting back into it
  4. So obviously this feedback won't be heard, but for what its worth I'll share some thoughts. I have a bit over 1000 hours in this game but basically stopped played a while ago due to life. I decided to check it out again recently after showing it to my brother in law and was reminded how much I enjoy it. Here's the problem. I used to feel I could play well and do well in a battle consistently. Every now and then, I'd have a great battle with a high score and solid k/d and quite often a good battle. Now, however, that is not the case. I find myself extremely glad when I can get as many kills as deaths, or just play a game where I am not dying constantly. I'm not sure why, but I die so easily...sometimes full supplies, defender drone, and...dead. Also, for some reason, some tanks are absolute damage sponges. I can hit them with a big shot and they survive. It may be that ppl just have waaay better equipment than me, ?? I like that drones dont require batteries, but the augment/drone/overdrive meta has minimized driving/shooting ability in the game. I have a dream of playing more and playing with my bro-in-law, but these games are just frustrating...Losing to ppl you cant kill takes away the fun

    I havent played the event but 100% a world where you dont die so easily would be amazing. Games where both teams can spawn in without dying are the best. Games where you can play without dying in 1-2 shots are also awesome

    Is RFM frowned upon because it is too good? I do enjoy the aggressive gameplay it leads to but havent had a lot of success with it. Why is light caps obsolete? Ive been using it a bunch lately...is it because it rarely can one shot tanks?

    So Ive been going back and forth between light Caps and RFM...still not sure which I like more. Ive seen some ppl using healing emitters lately altho I cant find it in my garage. Is that a worthwhile augment to use?
  8. Perhaps a rating system that helps plays match. If you dominate a game your rating goes up so you play against harder players and vice versa. Uber casual players would be mostly matched vs similar eventually

    It is interesting. It seems like Wasp is the light hull folks only use for nostalgia...hopper seems to be the one all the heavily droned players use these days. I still see some wasps around but theyre usually getting killed a lot

    That makes sense. I just played a somewhat frustrating game. Started out well, but then the three main players on the other team swapped prots to shaft and with defender drone I couldnt do anything to them. Felt like I was useless lol

    Ive been messing around a bit lately. Shaft is my favorite turret but definitely feels powered down compared to many others. Even the other long range turrets have decent damage output seemingly. Any augments I should be running?

    Seems weird to have thunder with a short range augment since its always functioned as a mid/long range turret.

    Does anyone feel wasps OD doesnt compete with others? I play melee mostly and rarely find the bomb helping me out bsides maybe a kill per game. Just takes so long to tick down and doesnt insta kill i believe

    So is shortband emiters an upgrade to stock? I still dont understand exactly what it does bsides raising minimum damage which seems like a strict upgrade
  15. Whichever player mentioned the game changing a lot does seem to be addressing an issue. Every time I check in on the game, it seems like everything has been rebalanced and changed. I thought things were decently balanced years ago, yet things keep changing. Its had to grow comfortable when they keep adding game changing buffs/nerfs/new things. In addition, the game is really tilted by over powered players. If neither team has a player with maxed out everything, the game is fun, but having 1-2 opponents with hovering hulls etc really removes a lot of the competitiveness
  16. Not sure if this is bad or good. Hopefully they might slow down medium hulls so ppl cant spam vikings and outrun everything else
  17. There is definitely a difference in power level between hunter and the other medium hulls. Hunter's OD might lead to a flag being dropped or maybe a kill or two, while viking, for example can get 4 kills and clear out a base with its OD while being faster

    Underrated comment I play mostly with wasp and rarely have any problems with shaft. So many other more powerful turrets that kill me quickly

    I see those too but they get much score, which again makes me think they arent OP. I think its the camping players folks dont enjoy rather than the turret.

    But if you nerf its damage, its a terrible turret. Tesla can kill almost instantly at decent range as can hammer etc, but those also can keep moving while shaft is stuck in one spot unless it uses arcade. I dunno...I guess Ive been dying to other turrets a lot more than shaft lately, and I'd rather focus on those

    Thank you! ? My point was that other turrets, hammer, gauss, freeze, magnum regularly dominate games and theres no "nerf hammer" but when someone get sniped by a shaft for his first kill, ppl yell nerf. I rarely/never see shafts dominate unlike the others

    I dunno why hammer/viking can go 37-7 and easily dominate a game and no one suggests it might be a bit strong yet shaft folks get chased around the map and ppl yell "nerf"
