How has the new format changed how you play wasp? I'd suggest that with more players, you are less likely to be targeted at spawn. I never get spawn killed in the current 16v16 maps
-
Is silence a good map? Every time I've played it, I feel that there are so many maps that are just better
-
A few more thoughts: first I love the full battles. They feel like the battles ive only seen on video from old tanki. Second I love the big maps. So many amazing and fun maps to play on and explore that normal matchmaking just skips. Third, 16v16 might be a bit much but i do like the larger numbers. Perhaps 12v12 would be a good substitute. all in all, please dont get rid of these amazing large beautiful maps. Death track, skylarck, Lost temple, Berlin are so unique and fun. Keep them in rotation
-
So, what are we learning? Some people like larger battles and some like smaller ones. I personally enjoy the larger battles, but I think there needs to be variance in player numbers based upon map size. Iran should have fewer players than Barda or Berlin, for example, but both should be included

Alright folks, just like the previous experiment, my perceptions are changing. I just played the most amazing CP battle ever. It was on massacre. It felt like a literal battle with huge armies of tanks rushing forwards to fight. Any time the defenders of a point would be driven back, a wave of tanks would surge forward to take it and would be countered by withering enemy fire. This led to large movement of tanks and lots of excitement. tldr: So far I really like the larger numbers of tanks on big maps

That is literally what it is most games lol

The changes are cool for the most part but certainly 16v16 seems too extreme on medium maps. I wish TO could makechanges a little at a time instead of huge extreme ones. Berlin works well with 16v16 but 12 is probly better for most larger maps. Kinda wish they could keep all maps and have varying numbers of players per map -
Choice of maps=AMAZING!!! Why have we waited so long to include these larger maps like deathtrack in the rotation. There are soo many amazing maps and now we get to enjoy them in MM. I'm wondering if a compromise could be found, instead of each map always being XvX, they could have maps fill based upon specific size. So berlin fills to 16 and iran fills to 6, for example

I think its pretty straight forward. Defender makes the cooldown for DA a lot shorter. If they removed the bonus damage and protection given by defender and booster and just reduced cooldowns for each supply respectively I think it would make them helpful but not oppressive.
-
I'd say making defender a drone that lets you have constant armor activated and Booster giving you constant DD would be a balance. Currently when I use defender, it is for the quick armor reset, not bonus protection. Making people invulnerable or able to one shot enemies is too much imho

Yes I meant thunder, ugh. I'd love to see more people using gauss prot
-
If you areexperiencing something like this, Id suggest you film some games to show what is happening
-
Was it ever not playable? Ive been solely using it and performing excellently
-
Probably is and yet ppl heavily use gauss protection

Ive seen a number of competitive battles recently. One yesterday in low ranks vs much higher gear scores. Tdm, we got down by maybe 20 points before rallying and winning. In higher ranks i rarely see battles like that as most mechanics like overdrives and matchmaking are suuper snowbally helping the winning team to win more. With short battles there really isnt a reason to care whether you win or lose. I wish devs would seek to fix the problem of unbalanced games. There are probly abunch of potential fixes but few/none have been tried from what ive seen
-
Really good idea. I think module use is more based upon popularity of turret than how powerful. Hence Rail, Thunder, Fire, and Rico are high. I tend to do the opposite in battle, changing to whatever I view as the biggest threat, but many times it is those 4 that I use
-
I think this is good. They should be working on one project instead of two. Also TO runs quite well even on lower end machines and theyve allowed lower graphics I believe. They just need to advertise more and ppl will join

Help me out here. When you say cheat, are you using your old definition of cheat we chatted about the other day which was something not really a cheat or are you using the normal definition of cheat which means "to cheat" -

Dont use speedups. Only upgrade during sales. It gives ppl something to work towards once they have full m4 garage -
So, I've become more and more convinced that rfm is really good. I have always been a fan of LCs but rfm lately just creates a much more enaging gameplay style. Every battle is super intense and rewards good play. The ability to quickly kill opponents from up close is so good. Edit: And it gets around the more difficult scoping in html

Thanks for the topic. Supply usage is an undervalued skill I'd say. When I have good games, it is always bc my opponents aren't using supplies well. I do think there are times when DD should be your first supply, but you are correct that DA is typically more important
-
Yeah I do miss dictator. I guess when you have speed and health, like viking, there is little reason to play anything else. If you watch esports formats, they tend to be mostly vikings with a few hunters mixed in
-
I'm not an isida expert lol but it seems a lot of ppl miss its healing ability in general.
-
It does seem unfortunate that they have nerfed support roles like healing. People complain about the lack of teamwork, and isida is the ultimate team turret. They should nerf its damage and increase its healing.
