  1. Hackers will hack anything they can hack and this seems like a good one. EDIT to : I didn't mean to imply that you may be a hacker. Ummmm, did that come out right?

    batteries as mission rewards

So far, we've heard more from those who don't have drones. I want to hear more opinions from those who have drones.

Too Many Goddamn Noobs On My Team

So, you think it's fair if one team is OP, in relationship with the opposing team, and spawn killing the entire team for 5 minutes or more is absolutely fair. If you were on the OP team, I'm sure you would find lots of fun and excitement. But how would you feel if you were on the losing team getting spawn killed? Would you still have that feeling of fun and excitement? For those of you who think some type of punishment should be implemented into the game for leaving a battle early, take a moment to think about this discussion before leaving. Better yet, pretend this has already been implemented and stay with your teammates to suffer the same outcome. Since you think leaving a battle early is reason for punishment, then you should have no problem with staying. Am I right?

    Friendly Fire

"...too easy and "childish"..." Really? Then how come not more battles are created with Friendly Fire activated. Personally, I think it's activated to legally break Tanki rules, which is a total contradiction.

What to buy? Which is better?

On my alt account, I have Isida M2 and use either Hornet or Titan. I need something a little faster than Titan and more armor than Hornet. I was thinking about getting Viking as a good all around hull. What is your take on this?

Too Many Goddamn Noobs On My Team

I tried that. Even with DD activated I was doing very little damage (single digits) even though the tanks I was attacking didn't have protection against Vulcan. I was one shotted many times with full health. I became a target. If being a team player with a team mindset is wrong, then I'm guilty as charged.

Too Many Goddamn Noobs On My Team

For mults? No For those who have a death wish? No For those who are dumb enough to think they can take on a whole team single handedly? Yes. However, leaving isn't always a bad thing. When I'm put on a team with higher Generals, Marshals and Field Marshals, I don't think I would be an asset to the team. So, I quit to make room for someone better than me.

Too Many Goddamn Noobs On My Team

The ones making this suggestion aren't thinking through the different scenarios thoroughly, like getting spawn killed for 5 minutes or a team that has 4 good magnum players and your team has none.

Too Many Goddamn Noobs On My Team

When players started making this suggestion one of the Mods said that the Devs were considering it. That was before the battles were reduced to 10 and the increase of individual funds. The crystal incentive still isn't high enough for players to stay in a losing battle. The funds have to be more proportional to the next M? not the next M?.?. In other words, if you have an M1.0 the funds have to be more proportional to M2 not proportional to M1.1. I have to give the Devs some credit in area. When I first started playing Tanki, the losing team got 0 funds if they didn't meet the objective. Say in CTF, if the losing team didn't get at least one flag, they got 0 funds. But one flag would put them on the scoreboard and get a small (very small) portion of the funds. So players stayed, teams strategized in team chat, we encouraged each other to stay and help to get that one flag. But that privilege was taken away from the EN community as an incentive to......QUIT. (Oh, oh, I see someone bringing the the soap box, so I better stop there). Anyway, when it was announced that the losing team would get a portion of the battle funds, we players were ecstatic. But it turned out to be not worth a pee in the sea. Now, they have increased the funds according to the individual participation. It's still not enough, especially for the none buyer. Ok. I'm done for now.

Being ganged up on by Russian players

This has absolutely nothing to do with skill. I spawned into a battle and never got a chance to fire a shot before I was attacked (sabotaged) by my own teammates. Some Russians are very protective of their battles. They may feel that our pixelated DNA may attack their pixelated battle with a pixelated virus or cause their pixelated tanks to contract a pixelated cancer. Outside of the military and politics, I have nothing against Russian people as a whole. I have some Russian DNA flowing through my veins. Some Russians want to make something political out of a game. Enough said about that.

    Friendly Fire

Interesting concept. Now that we can put titles to created battles, this should be added as part of the title. Example: Join my CTFDM. My Isida will not be joining your party.

Too Many Goddamn Noobs On My Team

In Tanki Online, matchmaking refers to the process of distributing players into battles based on their rank and other factors, resulting in a fair match where players or teams have equal strength. The goal of the system is to allow players to quickly join battles and have fair and balanced games. As a Captain, I was put into battles with with Generals. That's fair and balanced? Maybe for the opposing team. As a Colonel, I'm put into battles with Field Marshals and I'm the lowest rank in the battle. Would you say I was an asset to my team? I was more of an asset to the opposing team. In these cases, I felt I was more of a hindrance than an asset to my team, so, I logged out of the battles to make room for someone who could possibly help the team better than I. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If you were queued in a team battle mode, a team balance system will first balance the teams to make them more or less equal to each other. "....balance the teams..." I don't think they are balanced. "...make them more or less equal..." Do we really need MMS to make a battle more or less equal? We can do that on our own without MMS and probably do a better job of it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Once the game starts, a preparation period of twenty seconds will start, with the words 'Prepare for battle!' written on top, with of course, the timer counting down. In this period, crystals and experience can't be gained and damage can't be dealt to the enemy.I don't recall seeing this at the top of the screen at the beginning of a battle. Damage can't be done to the enemy, huh. I'm going to have to check this one out. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ In the matchmaking system, every battle will start from exactly ten minutes. Joining a battle in the middle is still possible, but the system favors creating new battles more than making people join battles that are already underway. I think someone forgot to show this to MMS. It isn't very often I'm put into a battle from the beginning. Many of them are less than 3 minutes. When I am put into a battle from the beginning, I have to do a double take to make sure I'm seeing it right. I think it favors shoving a player into an empty slot rather than creating a battle from the beginning. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The above excerpts were copy and pasted from Tanki Wiki. To @Delta_Rail: I think the above excerpts goes along with what you are saying and feeling. You are not alone in this boat.
  14. Nope, thumbs down on this one. Did you stop to think how you would feel when the other team used it, too? Would you really calmly say, "Oh darn. He's using the invisibility supply mode to cap the flag." Later, "Oh shux, another invisible tank. Oh! Isn't this fun? I hope they do that again!" "What the.... Who's firing at me? Where did that come from? Oh, well. Must be someone using the invisible supply mode." "How come the other team is using the invisible supply mode and our team isn't? Oh yeah. There's only 3 drop zones and my team is base camping. Oh isn't this fun? I'm glad the Devs decided to put my suggestion into the game."

    Ideas for Game Modes!

Yep, I can see that. Map: Stadium......Battle Mode: TDM......Battle type: Oddball Red team member grabs the ball and heads for the bleachers. Rest of red team follows. Blue team goes into the bleachers to fight for the ball. The entire battle happens in that one small area of the bleachers and the rest of the field is used for respawning. They'd have to make up a new map half the size of Polygon for this one.

Being ganged up on by Russian players

I didn't seem to have that problem until yesterday. I joined a losing team, but the gap wasn't very big. They were down 2 players, I thought I could make a difference. Of course, the title was in Russian so for all I knew, I was joining a CP battle. I spawned and only got like a couple feet before I was blocked by 2 teammates. I couldn't maneuver around them. Obviously, they didn't want me there, so I left. If it was a certain turret/hull only, I don't know. I knew it wasn't XP/BP. Well, another suggestion made by players that went haywire. Be careful of what you wish for, it may come true, but not the way you expected. We seem to forget that this game has been overrun by the Russians and expect everything to be in English. We are part of their money making scheme, but are not accommodated. I consider ourselves lucky to have an English forum. That could be taken away, too. Think about it how things have gone in the past, then fast forward into the future.
  17. I'm a Vulcan user. I find that Vulcan has to be used much like Railgun. First, you have to know where your target is. Then have the barrel turning before you round the corner, before you go up over the ridge, before you get on the bridge, before you come out from behind the wall. Much like Railgun, that one second delay can mean the difference between life and death. A good Railgun user doesn't expose himself then gear up the turret. The turret is geared up before he exposes himself. Vulcan same way. Using this method, you can start doing damage before they start doing damage to you.
  18. Please answer these questions.
  19. This is when anyone could create a battle, before Pro battles came into existence. If you wanted your share of the battle fund, you had to wait until the timer ran out, even if there was no one on the other team, like it is in Pro battles now. Many players complained because if they created a one hour battle and the other team left in the first half hour, they either had to wait it out or leave. So, the Devs added an auto-end button. If there were less than half a team or a team left completely, the timer would start. I forget how many minutes...one minute, I think. If the team with lesser players started filling up, the timer would stop. When they created the Pro battles, that privilege was taken away and only Pro battles could be created, but it seems the auto-end button was left out. In the place of auto-end, they reduced the battles to 10 minutes and gave more funds to the individual player as an incentive to stay. I think the auto-end should be reintroduced for the regular battles and the auto-end button be put into the Pro battles as a choice by the creator. Even with the added individual funds, players are still leaving the 10 minute battle if the other team took over the battle early and there is no hope of recovery. I think the auto-end would reduce the agony of being spawn killed for 5 minutes.
  20. Does the Supply Drone work with OD, too? If I or a teammate activates OD then I activate the Supply Drone will that make the OD last longer?
  21. I don't usually run after it, unless I'm respawning and happen to see it as I ascend to the next realm for rebirth. If it's far away, I'll cap, change a CP or whatever I can do to help the team. If it's close, I'll take a stab at it. If I'm too late, I kill, kill, kill. The luckiest gold box drop was a few weeks ago. The siren sounded and I started shooting at the enemy team to make them weak. I was killed and respawned right next to the gold box at our base. No one else was there.
  22. I played Miniclip a lot and kept seeing the ad for Tanki Online. It looked intriguing so I tried it. It wasn't long before I was hooked. Right now, that hook is bending.

I wouldn't kill you....I can't kill you. All I can do is heal you as you kill me.
  24. What do you mean "nothing?" Every container contains something. I think the most unlucky you can get is to have all the containers contain batteries and you don't have a drone. :(
