I never set any mode filters. Where is this mode filter? I log into the lobby. I see I have a CTF mission. I click on the CTF button and up comes the CTF battles, but one of them is RGB. That's normal? I wanted to play TDM. I click on TDM button. Up comes the list of TDM battles but one of them is DM. That's normal? Where is this filter you talk about. I want to give it a good scrubbing because this has been going on for quite a while. I'm not a newbie to this game. I've been playing for quite a few years. I remember when Marshal was the highest rank. So don't insinuate I don't know what I'm talking about.

I didn't click on a CTF battle and went to RGB, but rather RGB was among the CTF battles. The same with the DM in TDM battles. They were in the wrong list.

Quite often I'll see one battle that does not match the mode. I have a CTF mission. I clicked on the CTF button. I went down the list, clicking on battles looking for one near my rank, not caring about which map it is. I found one, logged in and found myself in a RGB battle. When I finished the battle and went back to the lobby, I checked to be sure I clicked on the right button. Yes, I was in CTF. So, why was RGB there? Last week, I clicked on TDM and ended up in a DM battle.

Becoming a Dev doesn't happen "overnight" as you know. It takes time, patience and dedication. Even after you've made a few games, they may not be good enough to earn a living. I suggest, if you are dead set against going to college, then at least go to a vocational school and learn a trade so you can pay the bills, put food on the table, etc. Or are you planning on sponging off your parents for the next 2-3 years?

Does that mean we have to go back and vote again?

Are you saying that you think buyers get more from the containers than non-buyers? How is that true? If a container is caught in battle, how does the system know if the catcher is a buyer or non-buyer? If you buy containers, then you are not a non-buyer of containers, so you get the same as anyone else. If you get a container from you mission, again, how does the system know if you are a buyer or non-buyer? Do you really think the Devs put in some type of trigger system that says, "According to the files, this player hasn't ever bought anything, so let's give this player some sort of token." " Ok, the person who just got this container, according to the files, is a regular buyer, so let's put something special in the container." I guess I've bought probably 5 containers individually. Each one had crystals and supplies, only. I caught one and all it had was crystals and supplies. Check this out: https://en.tankiwiki.com/Containers

Did you see the blue dome?
-
Done, with a few explanations of why I answered the way I did. If this was done in the Russian Community, you would probably get a whole different aspect. Makes me wonder how many American games the Russians support.
-
Really!?! Then I stand corrected.
-
Non Buyers were complaining that they didn't enough crystals for supplies and MUs. The containers are full of crystals and supplies so players who get containers can have both worlds, yet, people are still complaining. Non buyers want the crystals and supplies, the rest is gravy. Buyers want everything but the crystals and supplies. Abraham Lincoln 16th President of the United States said: "You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time." As I read the Tanki forums, it seems the first and last part of this quote holds true. The second part falls through the cracks. I guess there is no happy medium. (I wonder if I could put a quote in here about female dogs. Nah, better not).

Yeah I know. I guess my reaction was a bit serious. I didn't think it was pointless. It's an attempt to educate anyone who may be interested. Besides, I was enjoying my walk down Memory Lane. Too bad you couldn't put your imagination to work and walk down it with me instead of viewing it as pointless.

I had a miserable moment today. TDM on Osa. We were way ahead. Suddenly, the entire enemy team (and I mean entire) came at us with all the OD supplies activated and wiped us out. They retreated and a few seconds later, they came back the same way. When it happened the third time, I started recording, but the game ended before I got enough recording. I still think there is an OD hack out there. When they came at us those three times, I didn't see any blue domes. This is happening too many times in too many different battles on too many different maps to be lag. I've seen it happen in groups and individuals. I have seen the OD supplies suddenly appear above tanks right in front of me and no blue dome.

I have a better idea. If you want to build a birdhouse, use some scrap lumber or buy a kit and build one. No need to cut down a whole tree. If you want to help the birds, you can build a bird sanctuary in your backyard. Here's your check list: 1...Birdseed of all types, including black and striped sunflower seeds and cracked corn. A few unshelled raw peanuts mixed in are good, too. Not cooked, roasted or salted. 2...A shallow container full of water for them to drink and take a bath in. 3...A nest bag. (I'll explain further down) 4...Birdhouses for shelter and to rear their youngsters. Put the houses in the trees or on poles at varying heights. Put tin around the opening (hole) to keep the predators out. Make sure it's well shaded. A nest bag holds bits of nesting materials. What you will need: 1...Pieces of nylon netting no smaller than 8 inches square, 12 inches square is better. 2...String of varying lengths 3...Bits of yarn any color. But they prefer bright colors. 4...Small bits of cloth 5...Small bits of tin foil or anything shiney that won't harm the birds or their hatchlings. How to make it: Spread out the nylon squares. Add the above materials. Fold the corners together check to be sure the bags are no more than half full, then tie tightly. Hang the bags from trees, bushes, any place where they can see them. Some birds like to line their nest with bits of plastic from shopping bags. So, you might cut up some plastic bags into 1, 2, 3 inch squares and put into a container large enough for the birds to shift through and pick out what they want. I had a Bird Sanctuary in my backyard for many years. We loved watching the birds build their nests, feed the babies, encouraging the youngsters out the nest to try out their wings and learn to hunt for food. They would flit around from bush to bush, then from bush to trees and then into the sky to make a life of their own. I finally had to take it all down because the neighborhood became overrun with feral cats. The nights were alive with their meowing, screeches and cat fights. I cried because I had no way of explaining to the returning nesting birds why their Sanctuary was no more. :(

You don't need to be physically helping. Gofers play an important role, too.

Nobody.

Good. Leave all this behind and go out there and make a name for yourself. I mean it. Go spend time with real life friends. Online friends come and go. Real life friends are your support system and foundation. If any online friends want to keep in contact with you outside of Tanki, they will give you contact information. If they don't, then they are nothing more than Virtual Friends. There's nothing here that will help you advance in real life. GO!!! Get a real life. Good luck in all your endeavours. This is not meant to be a negative post. I mean it in a positive way.

April 22 is Earth Day. What will you be doing to help Mother Earth? I'll be joining several Organizations in replanting a forest that was wiped out by an arsonist. We start tomorrow and expect to work on the project for a week (or until we run out of trees). If at the end of the week we still have trees left, the project keeps going. So, what are your plans? (Making Tanki beautiful doesn't count).

No, actually you died, but your spirit doesn't know it yet. GHOSTBUSTERS!!

On my higher account I have Isida M2 and Hornet M2 and Isida protection M1. If I try to kill the enemy, I get killed If I come across another Isida and we are doing a 1v1, I get killed. If I'm playing on another account and encounter an Isida, I get killed. Unless the Isida is on my team, I try to avoid them like the plague. I've become so paranoid over Isidas, that when our own Isida heals me, my initial reaction is to move away and shoot.

You sound as if you know what it is. I don't expect you to tell us, but can you give us a hint or at least let us know on occasion which ones are on the right track? It's a mystery that needs to be solved. "The game is afoot."

You think someone created a fake Wiki page?

I logged in on a Sandbox non-formatted CTF battle with Vulcan/Titan. I was told to either leave or change turrets. For the short time I was there, I saw a variety of hulls, Railgun, Firebird, Freeze, and Thunder. I left only because both teams worked together to gang up on me. Since it wasn't formatted, I had every right to be there. Didn't I? How both teams worked together was while the opposing team was busy killing me, my team sat off to one side watching me get killed. I respawned and they did it again. And then a third time. The battle came to a halt until I left. Neither team attacked each other nor tried for the flag while I was there.

That's a pretty broad area. This still can be interpreted a couple ways. Do you mean OP in any and all games or any one game? There's online games, offline games, multiplayer games, individual games, board games, card games, backyard games, sports, games of skill, games of chance. The list is astronomical. So, I'd say No. A person cannot be OP in any game. Meaning any and all games. However, if you mean any one game, then the answer is Yes. A person can play a game many, many times, figure out the angles, knows what to expect in nearly all situations, almost to the point of getting into the Dev's head. That person would be OP in that particular game. So, I still don't know how to answer this question.

Are you talking about any game, including outside of Tanki? Are you talking about just Tanki and dominating the battles? How about more info and clarification, please.

Actually, it's up to you what you want to do. Just bare in mind that the longer you stay out of school, the harder it will be to go back. Right now, you have a lifestyle of going to school, learning, keeping up the pace, etc. If you don't stay with it, you will lose that edge. May I tell you what happened to the son of a friend of mine? I promise I will try very hard to give you the short version: He was a straight A student from the 3rd grade the 11th grade. In the 12th grade, he got a B in French. His IQ tested off the charts. He knew what career he wanted and had the college picked out. There were several grants he was eligible for from the Government and Organizations. He decided to take a year off. During that year, he found a fantasy card game and was at the game room everyday and on through the evening hours. Every week they had a tournament and he entered everyone of them. After a year of this, he lost his interest in college and immersed himself in this card game. His Mom told him to get a job or get out. He got a job flipping hamburgers. Quit that. Got a job stocking shelves. Quit that. Went to work as a cashier in a gas station and got fired. Meanwhile, he was introduced to CoD: Black Ops. He lost interest in the card game and now plays CoD and chats with his gf on FB. He just turned 21....still playing CoD and flipping hamburgers. I've asked him several times in the past years about going to college. His last response was, "Yeah, I'm still interested. I'll get around to it. I've still got plenty of time." Sad part is, he's no longer eligible for those grants. He had to apply for them within a year after graduation. I'm not saying this will happen to you. But it does happen. Taking that one year break is a risk. My advice to you as one much older than you...Stay in school for the next 4 years. If not, then at least learn a trade at a vocational school. Those are 1 to 2 years. You're young, pursue your dream.
