    Ok so right now I'm seeing a lot of TDM battles where one team is just absolutely crushing the other team, and players from the winning team are just invading the losing team's base with overdrive and spawnkilling everyone on-sight, and since they basically have eternal overdrive from sharing it with everybody and the losing team doesn't it's near-impossible for the losing team to fight back. These games usually end like 100-20. This NEVER happened before overdrive was implemented. Please fix.

    I would be fine if it had no high-caliber alteration. Tbh i never liked alterations anyways As someone pointed out, they were supposed to change the gameplay of the turret while still keeping it balanced, but right now they're almost always an upgrade

    Because wasp and hornet are literal paper and die to everything. It's ridiculous and I don't want to put up with that any longer. But at the same time I find peekaboo a very effective strategy and I don't want to give it up. I hate the medium hulls and would much rather keep my Hornet, but like i said, I just can't seem to make it work.

    ugh...i really dont want to buy hunter though. I really don't want to wait until WO4 to get it, and all the M1 kits with hunter are SO EXPENSIVE .-. One really important question though: can viking or hunter do peekaboo as well as Hornet can?

    But for him, it's also 30 seconds of double damage and 30 seconds of no double damage? It needs double damage to do so, WHICH IS EASILY COUNTERED BY A DOUBLE ARMOR FOR EQUAL COST. STOP ACTING LIKE RAILGUN COMES WITH FREE BUILT-IN UNCOUNTERABLE PERMANENT DOUBLE DAMAGE THAT IS IMMUNE TO DOUBLE ARMOR BECAUSE IT DOESN'T.

    Railgun doesnt need a buff!!!!!!!!1!11111!1 freeze and magnum and maybe smoky need a nerf (or at least to their anti-railgun power), that's probably what is making Railgun seem "under-powered". But Railgun itself does not need a buff.

    Ah yes. Railgun deals damage so it is OP. I see. Remember the Railgun boi can't just spam double damage, he's on a cooldown. Unless he dies a bunch which isn't the most beneficial to him either.
  15. Using the Freeze buff as justification is self-destructing to your argument because Freeze didnt actually need the buff, and now it's very definitely not "equal" to the other close-range turrets now, rather it's much better than all of them.
  16. A Thunder nerf would be fine. Don't buff Railgun, it doesn't need it unless it's just a minor one to impact force. Holy crap these proposed nerfs are brutal though. You might as well remove the turret entirely.

    this is not a valid point since it uses a supply and can be countered with another supply for equal cost. You're never gonna get a fair comparison from comparing a drugged turret/hull to another not drugged one.
  18. i was actually thinking of this exact same idea earlier today :), with the only difference being that the percentage of impact reduction be the same as the percentage of damage reduction.
  19. Holy god this is a horrible idea. It would make it ridiculously easy to hoard crystals at one of those ranks and wait until you're rich as heck and can instantly afford the very best equipment possible as soon as you level up, micro-upgrades and all. I could literally become an M3 at MAJOR because of this (due to microupgrades) and I don't even need to buy crystals to ensure i get enough crystals before i rank up and get placed against harder people. Also ranking up is actually the thing that makes Premium not pay-to-win, since with Premium you still gain crystals at about the same ratio as you gain rank. This would totally upset that balance though. Very bad idea for the game. PLEASE do not implement this.

    What's the better hull for Railgun: Hornet or Viking? Hornet is faster but Viking has much more HP and stability.

    I wouldn't say Railgun itself needs the buff, it's quite strong against most turrets. I think the issue is that the turrets that DO beat it are either super common (Smoky), super OP (Magnum), or both (Freeze). A nerf to those turrets, or at least to their anti-Railgun power, would be better than buffing Railgun directly.

    I think the damage and splash radius should scale with the firing power. For example, a low-powered shot (such as a short-range one fired in self-defense) would deal less damage and have less explosion radius than a high-powered shot (cross-map snipe). I'm OK with Magnum being able to snipe across the whole map, I just want to nerf its defensive power so it can't just blast away anyone who tries to approach it, which it currently can do. I would be much more fine with Magnum if it retained its sniping power but became much easier to close-range.

    I played this one Year 2042 TDM, and there was an enemy Magnum camping on the sniping tower near the center of the map. It was ridiculous. I could barely survive 10 seconds before shells blasted me to oblivion. Over. And over. And over again. He was literally unapproachable too because he could one-shot anything with his double damage, shrug off any snipe with his double armor, mine the only way to get to him, and he could keep away our team for long enough that his repair kit timeout or overdrive charge-up would always finish before we could kill him.
