And in contrast to some other games out there, this is the only benefit they get. This is about time vs money. They don't get unique overpowered items, they can't use better weapons or supplies, they just level up faster to top equipment. The Premium Paint is considered as pay2win, but we will cut out protection from the paint as soon as paints and protection will be divided for every other paint in the game. So what is your point? We should give paying users nothing? Not power, I mean nothing at all?

SMP might be back, but I will only allow it to be back under PA requirement. SMP for crystals is a bad idea.

Requests to bring back SMP are puzzling. Additional experience without additional crystals is a clever way to force you donate later in the game, when you will face consequences. It is only fair that additional experience is now given only with additional crystals via PA. I do understand that there are people who does know how to use SMP properly but most of the time players are just hurt their own game. Now you ask to bring it back. This is just inhuman.

Those people forgot how I answered them that their ideas to cut supply usage is a no go. Too bad I can't speak in that section of the forum anymore. On the second thought though... it's good that I can't. Saying same things again and again is really boring thing.

It still stands, although it happens to be counterintuitive. I hardly will be able to explain how exactly it works without statistical data, which I can't show you, but think of it not as crystal to score ratio, but as crystal to time ratio. It happened to be that with PA you are not getting comfort game, but eventually will be forced to donate. PA should not do that. With score booster it is even worse. This is like giving a kid loaded gun while being a doctor. He most likely will harm himself and you will charge his parents money to help. Score boost should be available only with crystal boost, but we can't give crystal boost for crystals, so this is how thing got wrapped up.

I do not "have" XT's. I make them. Other than that, most of things that you can see I got long ago when I was an ordinary player. That K/D though!

We make premium account — players asking when will we turn the game into pay-to-play. We make statistics — players asking when will we give everybody passwords to their accounts. It's getting hard to think of an update with no possibility to overexaggeration! What's next? When we will update the looks of the garage somebody will ask when we turn it into vodka or something? :D

Ohh... reading this makes me feel bad. Especially after I was reading through some stuff on RU forum where tankers asked devs again and again "why is this premium account even there IF IT DOESN'T GIVE ANY POWER!?" Privelege by PA, lol. Privelege to have every gun pointed at you that is.

Interesting that you call current PA a fair deal. In my opinion PA either should give better exp+cry modifiers or should cost less. And there should be some more exclusive stuff to it. Oh well.

There is something weird about post-soviet game developers, who always spawn stories about post apocalyptic survival in wasteland kind of reality. Actually, there is no official universe behind Tanki, it's like Tetris. The game was created to keep software developer afloat, but it turned out to be so profitable, it changed whole company into gamedev studio. It always makes me envy for games like Team Fortress. Story creates game design guidelines and helps alot in many ways. For example if you think of making clan wars with building bases and raids you probably would really appreciate if there is a story that can tell what kind of war zone you need to set a stage. Or if you ever bother to explain why supplies boxes are dropped on the battlefield. Or how do they even work. Or if you want to handle the most bothersome thought I have. Why we fight for crystals!? What crystals got to do with tanks anyway? The books actually refer to them as 'energy crystals' but I can't really buy that story. Maybe on day we will sit down to make a worthy explanations to every aspect of Tanki, dunno. Story is a good thing, but it does create limitations. It might be better do keep things as they are.

Not anytime soon. It might easily take years to get to it. The development pipeline is not there yet even for the developers! There is no map editor, no proper libraries, nothing.

It might be, but it makes this discussion wierd. There are so many things that may go wrong so that wrong choice will happen eventually. And this kind of argument may be used to say something like "than don't change the game, it's that simple!" Yeah... makes me think about the Loadout game. It happened to be abandoned by developers on steam, so reviews are really bad. So yeah, updates = bad, no updates = bad. Makes you think people are just never satisfied with your decisions, but I learned it long ago in RU community. Not going to prove anything here, there is just no point to do that.

I have nothing to add. There is no single problem that cause updates to be changed. Some of the updates do change after release, some of them do constantly change before release, some of them never change at all. Crystal boxes were poorly handled indeed, but it showed how game braking boxes were in the first place, so right people do finally changed their opinion on the matter and boxes were removed. Daily mission were just too huge to predict exact consequences so we had to balance them on the go. Premium paint is whole another story. People do think the paint is OP only because it says "protection from everything". Oh boy, people will be hugely dissapointed by paint performance in real life, but as long as it makes community feel better we cutted protection beforehand. As I've said, there were no goal to sell power, only convinience. But hey! Nobody seem to really care about my statments, so we decided to cut it. No big deal.

Sure it will, but not a big deal. We might have certain issues with browser version of the game, but it won't prevent the game to be released.
