  1. Remember I told you my opinion on maintaining lock on target? Done. It's yours now. The game is already updated.
  2. There is another problem that friendly tanks counts as new target as well, hence restarting locking. Initially facing this issue I concluded that I didn't had much time to master aiming and players will be able to overcome this shortcoming with skill eventually, but I agree this is not the case. It will only force players to choose heavy tanks to mitigate this and still won't fix it. I'll run a prototype with this behavior changed so aiming will remember last target until lock on will be completely lost or re-initiated by player with re-firing at new target. This might impact current aiming grace period of 0.7 sec down to 0.5 or less to compensate, idk, but the turret will be more consistent so it might be worth it. Not sure if we will be able to update Striker's behavior until New Year's holidays though.
  3. Sure. Min-max damage is always a damage spread for standart hit on distance of max damage, only exception is Shaft. You are correct. It works as any other normal turret in case of damage spread. Rockets damage does not degrade over distance, but after max range every rocket explodes. 10% weak damage is for splash damage only.

    Asking both damage decrease and aiming simplification for this turret is as if you asked me to make Railgun both deal less damage and charge faster. See where am I going with this? Your suggestion is bad. Also, current stats I am using for testing are M4's stats and I can't keep up with first place most of the time. Think about it.

    Oh trust me, you don't want that. Using this thing is even for me surprisingly hard. Despite damage capabilities are being really high, potentially OP, both arcade and lock-on modes are not what you expect in terms of difficulty. In arcade mode you always have to keep in mind which RL will fire next or you will miss. In lock-on mode you always have to predict enemy movement or he will dodge. And in both modes you have to keep in mind the distance — should not be too close and not too far. Or you will miss. Picture keeping all of this stuff in mind while on the move? Feels like playing a piano. I didn't expect it to be this hard. And I like it that way. This turret potentially more skill-demanding than Railgun.

    So you suggest to nerf Firebird's alteration as it gives plain more effectiveness to make it clear that balance changes are not there to cripple turrets to make room for alterations, hence alterations will not give additional effectiveness as it stated? Fair enough, will do.

    After a few days with this update there are some interesting results. Basic battles indeed become almost always full of players at any map there is. Though, the number of maps itself become much more limited. With less maps in the list comes problem of doing map-based daily mission properly. Variety of maps being created are around of 30 and daily mission comes only with around 10 of them. Making daily missions be passable only via pro-pass is unintended, though there will be changes planned as we look closer at data during this weekend. There should be a way of achieving more maps in the list as well as keeping achieved variety.

    I find this kind of comments going really too far with idea of this game going pay to play. This game is free to play at its core. Free to play games works only if paying users can play alongside non-paying sers. If a large portion of the game will be locked behind pay wall, there will be no players to play that portion. Making this game pay to play will not work. Hence, it will never happen. Keeping pro-pass always accessible with crystals makes perfect sense from both game point of view and business point of view. And it if fair.

    It might be but always keep in mind — more time players can not act = more chances for enemy team to make your life excessively problematic. At this point pause time will stay as it is, but next year I got something planned to properly address this issue. Inactivity should be minimal but any player should have an option to take a reasonable break.

    I've just read that whole thing with I.Devastation and I3est happened here. Wow guys. You really overdo it. I am confirming that given by BlackWasp777 explanations are correct. Custom rank limits will not be changed, things will stay as they are for any CS activities. Also, if this update will prove itself to be good, we will continue to create differences for normal battles and pro battles, so the latter might be getting even wider rank ranges.

    This is exactly why this is paid option only. Look at the current Shop in the game? Everything unique I put there cost not that much, but when it comes to Kits... oh boy.. them prices x_x This is what happens when anything got it crystals price first and then you tries to bring in real world money price tag on it. This issue cannot be discussed in friday evening, sorry, as it takes a few good books to explain why in-game currency inflation connected to this pricing problem.. Let's just put it this way: Clans give you too much benefits to be sold for 20 or 30k crystals as you can get this many crystals relatively easy. Four bucks though is whole another story.

    Naturally, this is not how things work. 1.000.000 is a crystals price tag for a single player. Ten times for every member. It is either cheap with money or overwhelmly expensive with crystals. I can explain why, but there are obvoius reasons of crystals inflation in game towards higher ranks. M3 equipment is expencive for real money not because we are greedy =_= it is because of crystals being inflated. And being an only currency. This is whole another big topic actually.

    Oh I know how it works! :D This is why I plan this in-game clan system a bit differently than average game out there. Clans should be valuable for a clan leader, at least, with any players of any skill level. There will be an in-clan economy system involved. More on that will be in second interation.

    Can we not start this argument again? Back than we paid for traffic to buy new players, as any game does. It got to the point of being too expensive to keep the game going. Since then this game run on viral traffic only. And it's doing pretty well.

    If clans be purchasable with crystals, the price tag would be ridiculous. It is either small payment or huge crystal pile. To put in perspective, it might be either 5$ or 1 000 000 crystals. There are no easy solutions there.

    We will handle this kind of clans manually for a while. I plan for system to buy-out clan leadership by any clan member if clan leader goes offline for whatever reasons. Will see if there will be a real need in that system. As for price, my guess is less than 5$. Think of it as umm... game expansion? I know this statement is arguable, but gotta do something to keep this big boat afloat.
