This would take a long time for developers to organize, code, create, and release. Plus, it would only be enacted if developers have the intent of doing a Tanki X Event. But it would be nice to have in the future, when everything opens up, and there's more Tanki developers working at their company. (Looking forward to it.)

I don't think the developers changed it yet because it is pretty balanced, overall, in the game. In my opinion and experience, it's not too powerful. I faced at least one in every battle. It's because: With Shaft protection, it makes the damage half less. (divide 2) With Double Armor and Shaft protection, it's divide 4 from all Shafts Some might be using Booster Drone, or a good Augment to one shot Tanks, but if we have defenses equipped, then we can survive it. We can all feel that some Turrets are over-powered, if we don't have their protection. It's like how I think Magnum and Vulcan are super powerful because they both can destroy a tank with one shot or in a second! If we think about it, all Turrets are powerful, but if we have protections for three Turrets, those we will feel are not that scary.

Yes! Tanki is getting more modern and futuristic. As you have in the first image, the game looked packed together with all the Turrets, Hulls, Paints, ... all in one tab! From the second image, we can clearly see that now everything is more spread out and organized into different Tabs. We're also evolving our equipment and other items as we go into this new year, starting with the HD Turrets and Hulls!

If you want to increase your efficiency rating, but are unable to look at the complicated formula, then like me, you should basically: keep a good K/D rate in your profile and from battles destroy many tanks ; get destroyed less capture Flags often score Rugby balls often capture Points often Destroy the Juggernaut often play often come online daily do your Daily, Weekly, Challenge, and Special Missions (I personally believe daily activity in the game matters for efficiency. Or else the efficiency drops as you're more inactive.) upgrade your Garage items, buy items you can with Crystals, and obtain the rest from Containers, Contests, ... having a good Garage can also give more efficiency. But also, having high or low efficiency doesn't matter for a tanker. It is simply just a number. We all still have the same skill and strategy for winning and losing. So be proud with whatever efficiency you have, and increase it gradually and slowly, with the above methods.

Why did they remove old turret/hull models?
thunderhunter123 replied to benjaministhebest in Archive
In simple terms: First: the developers made the 4 old Upgrade Modifications, M1, M2 M3, and M3+ into 8 new ones, Mk1, Mk2, Mk3, Mk4, Mk5, Mk6, Mk7, and Mk7+. Second: they wanted to make all designs of each turret ONLY into what M3 looked like. (Max upgrade visual look.) It's because they then wanted to redesign those old M3 visual looks of all Turrets/Hulls into HD designs! High Definition (HD) designs would be great to have now, considering that we moved into HTML5 and want to, and are getting more futuristic as time passes. With this thought in mind, the developers want to evolve old Turret Designs, Hull Designs, and other items too, as we proceed into this year. Plus, it would be nice to see the old Turrets/Hulls, etc. from the past, re-designed, cooler, and looking up-to-date. Don't you think? I can't wait to see Thunder and Hunter's new High Definition designs! ? -
Yeah! If you put your best effort, heart, and interest into your art project, you can win the top 3 places, including 2nd place, which you'll be able to win any Augment of your choice, with the guidelines mentioned, and other rewards. But even if you don't win, it's still very fun to have participated in them. Definitely do this, and tell your friends to participate too! Also, I used to do these Contests and win a lot of Top prizes. Sometimes I didn't win, but most times I did because of the work and interest I put into them. I wrote down ideas of what to include in each project to make it the best it can be for each topic we were given (COVID, Christmas, Tanki's B-Day, ...) I had a goal of beating @Volturo because he had won 1st place many times. With this motivation, I worked hard on every project or Contest that was given, and won 1st, like him. Since I don't do Contests as I am a Candidate, you'll have a higher chance to win them now! :)

category Ideas for Hulls and Overdrives!
thunderhunter123 replied to Ilia.ArchangeI in Ideas and Suggestions
I don't think we need another Hull like others have said above. It's because we are still starting to get used to the Hulls, Turrets, and other features that we have now. Also, the Overdrive, for your idea, is not perfect for use because: It can go fast for 3 seconds without being able to turn it can fall off the edge become unstable by getting hit by others it would only lower damage by 75% for only 3 seconds then it would have to start reloading its Overdrive again -
Yes. We have inflated in the amounts of Crystals to spend, but also, we have improved in ways of getting Crystals way faster, easier, and in different ways. As you pointed out above, a Mammoth cost you only 1.8k Crystals to get to Mk1. The costs are more now, but you can get these Crystals by: playing regular MM battles opening Containers (Daily, Weekly, Challenge, and also Special) doing Contests that offer them buying them if you want catch Gold Boxes The above ways, plus other ways, can get you so many Crystals to upgrade your items. The reason why developers came to these prices is to keep everything balanced, and allow ways for everyone to benefit, improving the game economy.

Hi. (We just started this new privileged discount sale for the most active tankers. It can be continued or even stopped depending on what developers find comfortable. Right now, I believe we'll have it again soon!) These discounts come only during special occasions. (holidays like Valentines Day, Christmas, April Fools, and Tanki's Birthday, maybe Discount Weekends, etc.) You have to be lucky and active during the time when they make a 70% sale announcement. This means that you should: have an Instagram and/or Facebook account ready to use. have your notifications "on" for your Social Media(s). check your device for any new notifications about sales.

I have one main, favorite Paint. It goes perfect with Thunder: Lightning Storm Animated Paint! But I also use other Animated, Non-Animated Paints with other combinations that suit it. (Frost, Inferno, etc.)

Shards are great! An extra 365 Containers free just for logging in daily, without playing! Plus we get Shards from Daily Missions and Special Missions, which adds to almost 3 Containers a day! I made calculations in the past in another Forum topic, and I calculated that F2P players can get 500 Containers annually more with other areas like Contests, etc.! Let's continue getting better over time!

I prefer sunny weather. What is your favorite Anime, cartoon, T.V. Show, or movie? (Write the title and which of the categories, above, it is.)

People who don't go for the gold box but kill other people going for it, why?
thunderhunter123 replied to Poppy in Archive
It's like the saying, "If I can't have it, no one can!" So they try to make others feel how they feel, when they can't have the Gold Box, by destroying other tanks and not allowing them to take it either. Some tankers shoot to try to get an opening, to take the Gold Box if they're behind the opponent. I do this when I have a small chance of being able to get the Gold Box and I see Wasps or other light Hulls in the area. -
Don't forget. It could also be that since we live in different time zones, and our internet, connectivity, and speed are a little different, we can experience a time when a tanker, living in an earlier time zone, does an extra 1 second time of damage no matter where you are. Example: (In this example below, the Isida is in an earlier time zone than you.) The Isida tanker is attacking on its end of the computer, and then you go behind a wall. The Isida will attack for its last one second while you're getting behind the wall. But for you, you'll see that you're already behind the wall, and you get Isida damage taken, through the wall. This makes it seem like it's a lag. (different timings) Does this make somewhat sense? (But also, I agree that we should fix this kind of problem.)

Thank you for this! ? We'll finally get to see 70% sales again, in a long time. Plus new tankers are going to be able to experience these as well! Let's continue getting more awesome stuff in the future!

Nice V-Log today! I hope people are satisfied, especially with getting their questions answered, getting news on the Tesla Turret in working progress, release of Railgun HD soon, and the spectacular 70% special sales throughout holidays! Let's continue staying positive, giving our feedback, plus our support to the Tanki development, and we'll see more awesome rewards in the future!

It's not that. We all have different point of views and positions of how we feel on everything. I just feel that it's not bad to have these features in the game. I simply enjoy battling Hopper/Crisis, hating them at a point, but then again, wanting to face them for a rematch.
-
No. It's awesome for buyers. But F2P players can have as much fun if they focus on their one favorite combination, and play with that. They'll level up faster, gain more experience, and make it easier to battle with their favorite weapon! (This is the whole reason why I, as a F2P, created this account, with this nickname.) By doing this, I would say it's pretty fair to everyone because it's possible for everyone! I personally think only the first two options (or maybe just the first option) in the Shop categories are reasonable. I agree with you and F2P tankers that prices are kind of high. I don't use the Shop much, unless I have Gift Cards, and I only focus on the first two categories. I think MM works most of the time. For me, as a Legend rank, I get other Legends often. Only sometimes (maybe twice a week), I get placed in a battle with some lower ranks. But the good part is that no matter where we currently stand, we only get stronger with time. Later, we'll be the strong ones, and later, the opponents will be stronger. It's all part of MM: to get stronger in any battle, easy or hard. Of course! Why is it not, for you? No, but they do work daily to make Tanki better: check for any current bugs, check the statistics on player activity, items used, gameplay time, make V-Logs, release updates/Events/special items, and much more. (It takes us a day just to finish our nightly Homework. It takes the development a day to finish their section of coding/reading/working on getting the data they need for changes, etc.) Important: I hope you read this last one Sonic. No. They might not be working in order. (Not releasing current skins we need, not giving the players what they want quick enough, etc.) This would make us think that they don't seem to know what they are doing. But it is to be expected, as everything comes at a certain time. They want to do what they are more comfortable with at the moment, but they will work on the other updates in due time. We just need to be patient. (If you had homework, and you had a week to do it, plus it was really easy, but you wanted to watch a movie and relax at the moment, you would probably choose to relax and watch, right? You would want to do your easy assignment the next day. Similarly, the developers want to release the items they find more comfortable for now, and easier/faster to do. They will release the other items in the future.) This is my personality, overall, as a real person and as a tanker. I like being positive, but I do agree with things I find that can get better. We all want things to be easier in life and in the game. Since they are not, for now, we should learn to improve, just a little bit, by getting the experience of the hard/annoying things. This makes the hard things, turn into regular, basic things that are not that much annoying, as they were before. Think about this deeply, please. Thank you!
-
Yes, it is possible that developers change up the modifications for anything they feel is becoming too powerful/annoying for players. Also, they do take in tanker feedback, and apply the changes we desire. Remember how we got back Augments? They were increased in prices, but we got them back with the feedback given to tankers. In other words, if we continue giving our feedback and honest opinion about Hopper, Crisis, and other personal important things, we are surely going to get a response on the Tanki V-Log/Announcements/etc. on what they will be doing. Everyone, including developers, want a well-developed, balanced, and fun game for all. So if we all keep a positive mindset, while also trying to express how we truly feel about the things we don't like, then we will surely be able to bond better with Tanki and keep this positivity in the community, (like me!) Also, if you guys ever become tired of playing with annoying combinations and features, you can always take a break and do other activities like Contests, Forum Games, or even non-Tanki related. (I do this from time to time.)

Hi. Pretty cool idea! Some of my thoughts (plus you can add your thoughts too!): So, ... If the turret does around 500 damage as a weaker Turret, then the user will heal 50 HP each shot? If the turret does around 1000 damage when it's max, then the user will heal 100 HP each shot? What if a Turret, such as Vulcan or Smoky with Auto-Cannon Augment, is used. They do damage every less than a second. Will the Drone heal the user with every one of its shots? Will this make it a little too powerful and/or unbalanced for the F2P players? (I would love to have this cool Drone, but I figure others might not like it as much as I do.) Does this Drone have a recharge time, or is it a Passive Drone (it will stay during the entire duration in battle, like Crisis, Brutus, etc.)?
-
If developers need to, they can change up the features of Hopper's speed, and Overdrive to help all tankers during gameplay. There's always a way to make everything more balanced and fun for all. The developers collect feedback and data on the things that are needed for change. So we will see nice and satisfying updates in the future!

We can get Crystals by playing Battles, doing the Free Tier Challenge, Doing Daily Missions, Special Missions (Rank Up ; not the other missions unless they're easy for F2P), Weekly Missions (Weekly Containers), and even Contest/Events. Also, we can get a lot more Crystals from Containers now because of the Shards update. If you keep playing and doing all the different kinds of Missions, in months, you can get enough Crystals to upgrade a Drone that you like to max, and also get a lot of Containers, and possibly get an Augment to use against Hopper/Crisis. On top of that, the best time for F2P players to spend their Crystals is during ONLY 50% sales! (I only spend it then.) Don't you believe this is do-able for F2P players as well? (The Tanki development was nice enough to give this update to us. We should be thankful, and be positive about it.) You asked, "Is Hopper/Crisis not a flying hack given the parameters you are a non buyer that can't afford Mk8s?..." It is a flying hack, but it IS the ability given to this Hull and the Crisis Drone, which changes the gameplay experience and atmosphere. This combination will make us angry when it's used in battle, but it's there for a good purpose too. It's that we'll never get bored of seeing it in battles. We'll become more cautious and aware of its activity on the battle-field. It's also nice to have this unique combination, as it brings in more fire to the battle. Don't you think so too? Would it be better to not have this combination at all, or at least have it, and experience how gameplay changes, and act upon it for our benefit?
-
That analogy is way different than this because this is just us seeing the attributes for a game. Real life, it's a different feeling. For a game, the damage only lasts until we get destroyed and re-spawn. In real-life, the damage we take, lasts longer. I like it when things are hard in the game. Having this fun feeling that I will face annoying tanks, drones, and skilled players with different combinations will improve my own skills in the long run. Don't you think so too? Also, I think about this: What is the main point of a game? Is it supposed to be all easy? If it's too easy, will it be fun, or will it become boring?

I stopped many of them while they weren't looking or expecting it. Other times, I was glad that I had Heat Immunity, so I could survive long enough to continue defeating them. So there's always a way to get by with everything. We just need to look for the positives in all things. Ask ourselves, "is it actually that bad? And can I do something to improve my gameplay with these combinations in battles?" I use Heat Immunity for no burning effects. Since I have been using this Augment, I found that Hopper is not that annoying to face against. This changed my prospective and feeling of its annoying feature. We all will get Augments soon, if not already. Right now, you should use what you have to counter the combinations. Maybe all we need to do is use something to help against what is annoying. (Get a good Augment, Defender Drone, ...) Then our angered feelings will reduce, and we can feel positivity overall.

I faced some Hopper/Crisis in battle just today. I do agree with you, that even though they were fast, hard to face, and ending the battle quickly, I still did not mind this due to the main fact that, this gives a different atmosphere to the game. Having these different weapons, Hulls, tactics, gameplay experiences, and many other unique features, really makes tankers like me fired up to face and to defeat them! Also, I'm not saying positive things just because of this job position. I already have these thoughts about Hopper, Crisis, and many other things in the game, regardless of where I stand. It's just my positive personality that I have on everything about Tanki Online and its game updates. (Meaning: I always look at the bright side to everything bad.)
