I wanted to give you my experience and thoughts of seeing others, and me, use Defender Drone: I have Thunder as my favorite Turret I use. It does 880 base damage to the enemy. If the enemy has Double Armor, I see that my damage goes to 440. If the enemy has DA and Defender Drone (max), the damage goes to 220. This is 880 / 4 = 220. This means that with Defender Drone, we can take 1 / 4 damage from all turrets. If you have 50% Protection, Thunder does 440 damage as well. With DA, Defender Drone, and 50% Protection, I see my Thunder do 110 damage. (With Double Damage, it goes to 220 again.) So we have 1/4 from DA and Defender, plus 1/2 from Protection Modules. This is 1/8 if we have all 3 things equipped.

Don't forget Frost and Electra. They look Legendary as well! But now, Animated Paints are the true feeling of Legendary! SO Legendary, that they move! Making our tanks look cool and intimidating!

Pretty interesting idea. So will all tankers in this new mode have 9999 GS? Or will the equipment and GS that they currently have on, convert to random equipment with that same GS? (Example: you equipped 7700 GS, and when entering that new mode battle, you still have 7700 GS with randomized equipment.) If everyone just gets 9999 GS, then all tankers will mostly play this mode because of how strong they feel, and not the other modes as much. Will this new mode be unlocked at a certain rank? Will tankers be given a random Drone as well?

I think they will still add the "cons" of each new Smoky Augment onto the Wiki later.

Nice idea. I would also want this kind of notification when obtaining new items. It says "Merge", which basically means that your idea is placed with a topic with that similar idea. So it is valid, overall.

Maybe it was not intentional. We should wait for a Helper's response to see if they think it is an error, or not. This is because this big update came out, just recently. The developers and Helpers of the Game said there would be errors. So I believe Ultra Containers should have the same contents as the Old UCs.
-
What gets on my nerves is basically nothing. True, sometimes I feel as though I am weaker than the opponent because of their combinations and equipment, but we should also look at how we can work, with what we have. If you face an opponent with Vulcan, incendiary band, and Heat immunity, you can try your best to defeat them, keep away from them, get heat immunity to help you more, and other things as well.

Hi there! I see what you are saying. I have "Old" Ultra Containers and when I click on "Show All", I can see the Ultra Skins. (Viking Ultra, Hunter Ultra, Gauss Ultra, ...) But when I click "Show All" for the new Ultra Containers, I don't see them either. I think we need to let the Helpers and developers know, to fix this error.

What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?
thunderhunter123 replied to Maf in Game Discussion
My thoughts on the Current State: I believe we are getting better with game play, increased rewards, and opportunities. Gameplay is better with changes to quality, number of tanks in battle, etc. Increased Containers with Shards: (We get 1.5 Containers, everyday, JUST from Daily Missions, now!) Opportunities with new Augments and other small features for better performance Let's continue to improve together. Keep giving your feedback everyone! -
Yes! I believe we definitely should still be able to earn stars! Or else we would not be able to get 3000 stars for Challenges.
-
Hope it works though. Thanks!

I apologize. Your grammar made it a little confusing to think about what you are saying. Do you believe I play too much? If so, I do not. I was just calculating what a Pro Tanker can get if he/she plays and does ALL Daily, Weekly, Challenge, and Shard Missions. No hard feelings? (I play about an hour a day.) I spend time on the Forum as well! ?

Cool, good to know! Thank you.

From the update announcements that we got, 1 of the 3 options of obtaining Shards was getting them free while logged into the game. We can get 1 Shard every 800 seconds. Question: Can we turn on the Tanki Online game, stay on the Homepage, and get Shards idly? Can we also leave it minimized? (This is after we are done doing our Daily, Weekly, and other missions and assignments.)
-
Can Helpers ask questions if they have any? Or are they not allowed to?
-
Even though the Thunder's mechanics got changed, it's still my favorite Turret no matter what. I feel the best while using this one, always! I was kind of sad to see the instant hit change into a projectile speed shot, but it's okay because it was kind of too powerful in the past. (I still love it though, with my Hunter Hull.)

Very nice updates! We're bringing more variety with the Smoky Augments. Now tankers can freely choose whichever Augment they want to use without looking at the number of items that cause each effect. (So a good amount of weapons do EMP effects, AP effects, Stun effects, etc.) ? Let's calculate how many containers we can get based on the number of Shards: (I think these are FULL Calculations. Let me know if I am missing anything.) It says we get 30 / 50 / 70 Shards (like Stars), in Daily Missions. This is 150 Shards daily 150 daily x 365 days a year = 54,750 Shards / 100 Shards per Container = 547.5 Containers a year! That is insane!!! (45.625 Containers a month). This is only Shards from Daily Missions! I'm still going to calculate the Shards that we get for free, plus the current rewards we get now!!!: It says we get 1 Shard every 800 seconds. 800 x 100 shards = 80,000 seconds / 3600 sec = 22.22... hours active For average tankers- We can get an extra 1 container if we play up to 22.23 hours a week. (3.17 hours a day) 1 x 52 weeks a year = 52 extra Containers a year! (4 Containers a month) The main way of getting Shards/Containers is Daily Missions. The free way is just another small way we can get them. The Tanki development is nice enough to give us this too. "Thank you!" Now let's put down the current items that we currently get: 3 Containers from Weekly Missions 4 Containers from every HALF-Month Challenge (no Battle Pass) 23 (with Battle Pass) 8 Containers from every FULL-Month Challenge (no Battle Pass) 46 (with Battle Pass) 3 x 52 weeks a year = 156 Containers a year from Weekly Missions 46 x 12 months a year = up to 552 Containers a year from Challenges (if we buy every Battle Pass) TOTAL Containers: 547.5 (shards option 1) + 52 (shards option 2) + 156 (Weekly Missions) + 552 (Challenges) = 1,307.5 A potential of up to 1307.5 Containers a year! (108.958 containers a month) Or even more with other Containers that we get from Special Missions, Contests, Events, etc. Is this correct?! ? Thank you.

That's all really different. Tanki is a fun game, where it's okay if you get bumped. You won't take damage, but just get pushed a little. In today's battles, and I was getting shot at so many times, and was not able to steady myself. Common annoying things like this happens to everyone, but we shouldn't get angry for too long. This compares better to how children are playing with toy cars, and one child accidentally breaks They could have gotten Mk7 Smoky to finally test out for a couple battles, while they were using another combination before. Or they could have gotten an Augment for Smoky to test. Even so, it's alright if they were not active that much. They just wanted to do something else for a battle or two. They have collecting supplies mission, or use overdrive mission. Or they were just wanted to play around the team mates. We should learn to let go of small things making us mad.

It's not nice to have these thoughts about players. You should always think positive about everyone, not get upset about their performances, and ignore them. It's the best way for us all to improve. We all only get better with experience. When I first played Tanki Online, I only wanted to battle and shoot with my turret. Later, I found out that I had a thing called a "Garage" that I could use to look at what was mine, and I could change into different combinations. After many years, I now can use my knowledge to get myself a Perfect Tank, perfect combination for myself, information I can use in battles and for enemies/allies, etc. Everyone has different knowledge, and things that they like doing or are doing in their current time. We should let them do it because later, they could be doing the important things like Missions, and playing the game.

I understand your pain of having lags. But you shouldn't leave just yet, or ever. Lags will come right now. You can try to uninstall and reinstall from time to time for a chance of better performance, but it could still lag. I used to have A LOT of lags too on both Flash and HTML5, from time to time. Whenever they came, I thought of quitting for the day. But the performance was better later on. However, since we moved to HTML5, we were told by the Tanki developers in the V-Log, that they will be improving the game faster now. They went slower before because they had to update for both HTML5 and Flash. Now they'll improve more efficiently. We just need to be patient and wait for more awesome updates and less lags from the developers. They know that lags can happen because they also test out everything at the company before releasing. Also, they test gameplay daily, as well. We do get update Patch Notes only monthly but I believe this is because developers want to test everything before release. They can only do so much in a day. They need time for coding, checking for errors, and they need breaks. (On Instagram, I saw how they were taking a break and playing with a fire extinguisher.) They also want to keep everything organized and release the items in order. They want to make sure the current things we have are not too overpowered, or hurting the game. I feel as HTML5 looks nicer than Flash. Flash looked kind of old and simple. HTML5 looks more in this time period. Also, the game will become more better visually as tankers want it. They do seem overpowered, but everything has a down side to it. Magnum is strong, but everyone starts off with a vertical rotating turret. Only some tankers will have the horizontal one. Also, you can simply use a Protection Module for Magnum for more comfort. Hopper is annoying with its Overdrive. However, you can use Heat Immunity Augment to help with one of its effects. Hopper also is a Light Hull. So even before it does too much damage on you, only a few shots can destroy it. People are complaining, but others are finding ways to deal with each situation, and continue having fun. The developers think a lot with every idea they update because they want to make everything balanced. If it is not balanced, they alter it. If they don't think it's necessary, they do not. We just need to admire what we have, because it's nice to have these new things rather than not having them before. The turrets were balanced better. Isida used to be able to heal others, do quite some damage, AND heal itself so survive longer, without needing to use Repair Kits. With the balance, Isida can still heal, but the self-heal is removed. But also, its damage is increased more than from the past! This makes it pretty balanced in my opinion. Also, we have Augments where you are able to deal less damage, but heal more. It's one or the other that we can choose, and this is balanced for all tankers. Don't leave @Son_Goku Not everything is good about the game, but we will get better. You should continue to have fun in the game, and on the Forum. Plus, you can do other activities, not in the game, like take part in Contests, give your Ideas/Suggestions, play Forum Games, etc. This helps me to feel better when I'm angry with lags, and bad updates. We will improve with time. Please be patient with us, and be here to experience the changes. Please and thanks!

Yeah, it's okay. If they want, they can. We should ignore, and play our part. In the next battle, we'll have other players with different actions.

Daily and weekly missions are meant to be the main focus for average tankers. We don't want too many assignments because then the average tanker feels as though they are not playing efficiently enough, and would not do all categories daily. Also, we do not have too many Missions because that would give too many rewards daily, to every tanker! Tanki Online makes it so tankers get a decent amount of rewards with their missions according to their ranks, and not too much. If you finish the Challenge, Daily Missions, and Weekly Missions, you can continue doing regular MM battles until the next Missions and Challenge arrives. Or, instead of playing extra, you can also spend time doing other activities (non-tanki related). This makes the Missions and assignments balanced, and not too long either, for everyone. Moreover, we do have Special Missions that you can do during special events. (They are in the "Special" category.) They are fun, interesting, and new, but also unique because they come only during the special events.

Not every computer/laptop is able to handle lo FPS/Ping like your computer. Some tankers can choose to go slower with themselves because of slowness. Not everyone likes or know about Test Servers. They might not be able to do it, or just choose to test their combinations in battle. Basically, everyone chooses to do everything, and whenever they want to. We should not get upset if it affects us because everyone will progress eventually. We all have different speeds of progression.

"This player was most likely protecting their KD..." You could be correct. He/she may not have realized, and will come to realize later on, that no one is able to hold onto their K/D rate. But they are not horrible players. They just have a little less skill than others, in the current time. They are just choosing to get away from the battle field, in some battles where tanks on the opposing side are much stronger than them. They just want to maybe watch other players, and get experience while on the sidelines. In other words, every tanker is different, and should be respected no matter what they do. Our main purpose and goal is to play well ourselves. We should help others, if we can, in battle. It's okay if they cannot do that much in return, then and there. They will try to help later on, if they choose to, and are able to. @wolverine848 I see that you are a Legend 10 rank. The tankers you think are bad, might have been Legend 1. They just ranked to Legend and were still getting used to battling with the other high Legend ranks.

Everyone, it's okay to get angry and/or upset on things that are annoying. However, we should stay positive with each other no matter the situation. We are all different, with different combinations in the game, different strategies, different interests, etc. We should always be nice to one another and not feel negative to anyone. We are all here to play and have fun. That Smoky/Viking might have had internet connection issues and could only move little by little in the camping area. He/she could have been doing a Daily Mission where he had to collect supply boxes. It could have been that he just wanted to camp in his area to try out his Smoky/Viking combination. He/she just wanted to do what they felt like during your 30-8 CP battle. You shouldn't say those negative words to any tanker. They are all different people, with different goals during their play-time. I know that this entire Forum Topic has negative things about tankers and about the game. Always remember to think positively, and in other peoples' point of view.
