    Mission Chains Update [April 27th]

But they do get more rewards. Once you get to week 10, you get 4 containers per week for playing everyday. The person who does not play every day gets 4 containers per every 2 weeks maybe.

    Mission Chains Update [April 27th]

Maybe they were. But consider the situation now: the more often you enter the game, the faster you will get a reward. So in a sense it still is a bonus, as you have to enter the game every day if you want to get the most out of the system. The idea of missions and mission chains was to reward active players. That still is the case with the new system, but with the added perk that quality of life is better. The guy that plays every day is going to get to week 10 after 6 weeks, while the guy that plays a few times a week is going to take several months to reach the final stage. Let's not forget that before missions and missions chains, we had daily gifts. And the majority of the crystals / supplies (for me at least) come from missions themselves, and not end of the week rewards.

    Mission Chains Update [April 27th]

Very nice, I will be definitely playing Tanki more often now. Before I didn't bother to try to complete missions chains because I knew I wouldn't be able to complete them anyway. Now I know that even if I miss a day I'm still working towards a reward, and that encourages me to actually play the game.
  6. It's not limited to ground speed. :) I was thinking that with a speedometer one could measure the speed of a tank flying through the air, for example.

Episode 169 of the V-LOG is live!

I don't think XT skins were ever a priority. On the bright side you have plenty of time to complete those super missions.
  8. Well here is the problem: I never claimed Tanki X was particularly popular. Of course it is nowhere near as popular as TO, because it hasn't been around for too long. But what I disagree with is the claim that TX is a "total failure." I criticized your example of EVE Online not because of its low player numbers, but that you used it as an example of a highly successful game in contrast to TO, even though player population pattern of these games is very similar. It seems to completely contradict your point. Blue is TX, green is TO. So there are several problems I have with this. First off all, your assumption is that because TO is dying, and TX has similar Steam trends, TX must be a failure too. Again, it is your personal opinion that TO is dying even though the amount of work put into development currently is higher than it has been in a long time. Regardless of whether it is dying or not, comparing the Steam figures of an 8 year old game vs a 2 year old game just doesn't work. You can't come to a conclusion on that front. Of course we also know that the majority of TO players don't play on Steam and the same is true for TX. Second, my problem is that judge the success of TX by player count. I cannot stress the fact that TX has been around for 2 years and officially released for only a month enough. Tanki has had 8 years to build a playerbase, it didn't happen overnight. Of course the playerbase of TX will be lower. Once 6 more years pass then I will find it a relevant comparison. The reason I disagree with the notion that TX is a failure is because it attracts a different audience compared to TO. The reasons as to why TO was successful are obviously subjective, but I think two reasons universally agreed upon are that the system requirements are low and it's a simple game easy to get into. Both mechanical and strategic skill-caps in TO are fairly low. Contrast this with TX: the system requirements are much higher and the game has more depth. It seems obvious why so few TO players switched to TX; it's a very different game at its core. TX has much more potential. It more modern, both in graphics and mechanics, and thus is more appealing to new players. It is less P2W; there are regular, quality updates, and the devs seem to listen a lot more to the community. TO is an archaic game. Without a major overhaul, there isn't very far it can go. The peak has come and gone. With TX the future looks brighter, and it's far too early to judge whether it's a failure or not.
  9. It may not be the most useful idea but it would be cool to see your speed anyway, especially when parkouring. We could have an official Tanki speed record.
  10. Actually Tanki X was officially released about a month ago.
  11. You do realize Tanki X is a downloadable game? A large part of TO players play it on the TO website, which is part of why it is so popular. You can't play TX through a browser and so it makes little sense to compare the ratings of the websites.
  12. What? Did you miss the part where I said "without much to back it up?" This is said by players on TO forum. Not on TX forum or anywhere else. We also do not know the number of players, and the game has been out for 2 years, the majority of which was open beta, vs the 8 years TO has been around for. TX has problems, sure. But the community honestly is way better than that of TO. You see lots of constructive complaints in the TX forum, calling for buffs to this and nerfs to this, rework that, etc. In TO there is a huge amount of moaning over how bad the game has become. Players in TX forum complain and offer suggestions because they know the devs are actually listening and there is hope for changes. With TO there is little of that, everyone's pretty much given up on communication at this point.
  13. This is your own assumption. Things have not been released yet, it's far to early to make such predictions. If you watch some of the vlogs, you will notice that "Pony Tail Boy" believes quite strongly that mobile users will be just as competitive at the game as PC players. So it's very unlikely that controls will be "nerfed."
  14. You completely avoided the question. What you described happening in TO is exactly what happened in Eve Online in terms of player count, which I found to be a strange example to bring up. And how do you know core players are leaving? All you have is your personal experience. Another strange thing to say, and it really makes me take everything you say with a grain of salt. What makes you think Tanki X is a "total failure?" I see this said by a lot of players without much to back it up.
  15. Found it mentioned on a forum. Got hooked. It was my introduction to games, and in all honesty it would have been better if I had never found it.
  16. Funny how you bring up Eve Online, which used to have 50k-60k players during 2009-2014 but in the past 2-3 years has had 30k-40k. Sound familiar?

He's asking why girls use Isida all the time and not why they are represented by Isida.

    Game economy

That seems to be the plan of the devs, judging by one of the latest (#168?) vlogs.

    Ideas for Game Modes!

It will never happen, because such Wasp Fire is literally just for grinding EXP and crystals and not actually meaningful gameplay.
  22. Maps like Rio, Future, Factory, and Skyscrapers would look pretty weird because they were added after Tanki 1.0 and can't be completely converted to old graphics.

    Complaint Book

Nothing has changed as far as we know. What makes you think there was ever a 30-50% chance to get crystals to begin with? This is your own (flawed) intuition.
