Hazel-Rah is the name of a character in the novel Watership Down. “Hazel” translates to «орех» in Russian, and “Opex-Rah” is his in-game nickname.

You are Legends, and consequently mostly play with and against Legends. That doesn't mean that the average player is a Legend.

Majority of playerbase is new players.

What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?
ThirdOnion replied to Maf in Game Discussion
This was in response to player who said that he got placed in Red Alert three times in a row. This often happens to me too - MM will place me on the same map again and again. The MM algorithm does need changes. This was in response to a player who asked when gamepad support would be brought back. Hazel was confused about this question since there was never official support for gamepads in the first place, so he joked that they will bring it back after they add it and remove it again. This is more popularly known in English as a payload game mode - which was first featured in TF2 and has now become quite widespread in other games. It's a unique mode that could work quite well in TO, certainly better than the garbage that is ASL. In a stream last year the developers said that the earliest any news about the iOS version would come would be fall of this year. As for rank limits, they were intentionally widened during the second Mad Tanks experiment, with the goal being to reduce MM waiting times. -
June 4th Developer Q&A Summary
ThirdOnion replied to ThirdOnion in June 4th Developer Q&A Summary Archive
This is the summary of the June 4th Russian developer Q&A video. Note that English subtitles are available. The Steam release of the game will soon switch to the HTML5 version, and the Flash version will no longer be supported and will no longer work. The developers believe that the lack of diversity in MM is a result of the MM algorithm and not the number of maps in the map pool. Night mode will not be added to MM until proper lighting effects are implemented in HTML5 (there are plans to do so). Tesla will be revealed in the upcoming giveaway. There are plans to add Mk1 hulls and turrets to containers, and possibly drones and protection modules later. It seems that the developers believe new players may find the wide selection of turrets and hulls intimidating, and that by receiving equipment from containers they will try out new equipment gradually. The developers intentionally tied supply power to drone upgrades in order to limit drone usage by new players. They believe that new players have access to a mechanically simple and relatively cheap starter drone - Brutus - and that other drones introduce more complex mechanics that should be unlocked over time, hence their high price and long upgrade times. The developers continue to hint at a graphical upgrade to maps. There are no plans to add a Firebird + Hornet/Wasp game mode. The developers are aware of the problems with HTML5's physics. When Flash is completely closed down the developers may change impact force parameters to address some of these problems. The ability to show more detailed information about a tank's equipment in battle by pressing the R or V keys will not be added. The developers believe that the scoreboard and protection and status effect icons show enough information. While the developers find a payload game mode interesting, implementing it would require creating specialized maps and the idea is shelved for the far future.- 5 replies

If a player on your team who is using the Engineer drones picks up a supply box, your entire team will receive that supply. Your own supplies will not be consumed.

How about you guess who I am? I'll give out some hints: A. I took a year-long break two years ago. B. I joined the game all the way back in mid August 2015. C. I created multiple accounts, because who doesn't have more than one account these days?

I watched my experience bar when activating Dictator's OD and it seems that it does indeed give experience.
-
Didn't stop the devs from adding maps like Berlin and Lost Temple into the MM pool.
-
I saw someone on the TO Discord experience the same thing. Probably an upcoming feature that was accidentally (?) activated.

These aren't really "secret rooms." In both cases the tank is simply resting on the tile props that are used to construct the ceilings of underground passages.

https://tankirating.org/online Earning 3000 stars under the new challenge system will give free players no Tankoins and fewer crystals and supplies in exchange for three more containers.
-
Why? Do you think that MM battles should have friendly fire as well? That would only lead to teammates constantly killing and sabotaging each other.
-
Given that I can recognize what map this is, it probably is correct.

A comparison of the old and new silver tier rewards. Silver Tier Old (3000 stars) New (3040 stars) New (4000 stars) Crystals 25 000 12 500 40 000 RK 50 40 50 BD 75 60 75 BA 75 60 75 SB 75 60 75 Mines 75 60 75 Batteries 150 90 105 Containers 4 7 8 Premium 0 days 0 days 1 day You will get fewer crystals and supplies for earning the same amount of stars, but three more containers. You will also need to earn the full 4000 stars in order to get 100 TKs as before.

Wasp's overdrive lays a bomb. It really isn't that powerful compared to other overdrives. It would truly be exceptionally stupid if the bomb did damage to allies. Do you want your own teammates to kill you by placing a bomb where you are at?
-
This is not a bug. Since Patch #647 you can no longer micro-upgrade equipment once you have reached the unlock rank of the next Mk.
-
I am waiting with great eagerness for all those perfectly balanced Ultra container augments to become commonplace in matches.
-
Important: Wasp's bomb can inflict the Jammer status effect. This was mentioned in the RU patch notes but not in the EN ones.

So they do attain max critical chance after two shots. I don't factor in initial chance because it's only relevant immediately after spawning. There are a number of explanations for the apparent frequency. Critical hits for Firebird, Freeze, and Isida are tick-based, where one tick = 0.25 seconds. So an average of one critical hit per eleven ticks means a critical hit approximately every 2.75 seconds. Similarly, Vulcan, Twins, and Ricochet also crit often because of their high rate of fire. On top of that Twins is unique in that it has a 25% maximum critical chance chance. Railgun has the highest average critical hit rate out of all the turrets. On top of that, when you consider that there are usually at least 16 tanks in a battle there are bound to be critical hits quite often.
-
Really? What are the chance steps for Blunderbuss and Dragon's Breath? The maximum critical chance for most stock turrets is 10% - which means on average critical hits occur once out of every eleven hits. Maximum critical chance does not imply a guaranteed critical hit.
-
All but Smoky.
-
Don't worry, after five years you'll get HD versions of all XT skins as well.
-
Originally from the Wiki, but it seems that was a mistake. With these parameters, Railgun has an average critical hit rate of about 36%, which puts the damage distribution at Mk7+ at almost exactly 50% critical and 50% standard damage. So Railgun protection modules are in practice only half as effective as stated. A step of 100% simply sets the critical chance to its maximum value.
