Not a bad thing per se, more like a safer play. Lots of people and companies get success from copying others and getting inspiration from established names. I think it is actually more logical for relatively small company with far more limited resources like Alternativa to wait, see and analyze if the big trend of "return of classic version of games" is popular and sustanaible to be copied. Especially more true after the Tanki X fiasco. The way you make it sound, it feels like no matter what they do, they just cant win. If they continue this modern Tanki Online version its bad, if they provide a classic version which people asked them for its just some cheap copycat.

Oh, I thought u didnt know what the abbrevation means, it came around that way xD. My best guess is the one who dared to do it died midway, and others have since been scared to watch the whole thing...

Too long, didnt read. People use it to say they prefer a quick summary over something super extensive that requires too much time to go through. Like that 3 hr interview with Hazel ?

To each their own. Your preferences might be different than those of others. Just like people choosing to not really care about achieving Phoenix, you are more than welcome to ignore these missions as well. These are meant to be a bit of motivation boosters to reward people doing main objectives. Imo, there is no point to suggest missions like "hey gimme 500 UCs for capturing 300 flags", because giving the trends Tanki is showing in rewards, they would never give any massive reward for such missions. Expecting any groundbreaking rewards on lower levels just isnt realistic in the current circumstances. So my examples are simply what I think is reasonable to suggest and what I think Tanki would be willing to give. As I said these are examples, they can be adjusted if Tanki would find it reasonable. The rewards are suppose to be just okaish at start and get progressively better the more objectives you complete. My main point is to have smaller rewards that are getting better with higher tiers reached instead of having one big reward that feels incredibly unreachable for majority of players just like phoenixes are.

The one thing that comes to mind is to either raise the points for the main objectives like capturing flags or rugby ball delivery or adjust the point ratio between main objectives and destruction of enemy tank (basically if you do not raise points for main objectives, lower the amount of points for tank destruction in non TDM matches). Another option is to create some reward system specifically oriented for battle objectives that isnt part of daily or special missions. Something like Phoenix, but with more levels and without the ridiculous overexaggerated requirements that do not motivate most regular players like: Capture 250 flags: One regular Shot effect of your choice Capture 500 flags: One animated paint of your choice available in containers Capture 1000 flags: 1 augment from some selection of augments that are in legendary category and are still somewhat decent but not the stuff they are currently selling. Basically like the rankups used to be when with each rankup you would get more crystals, but instead of crystal you are working your way through missions that give you first just regular reward that progress to something better each time until you reach some ridiculous achievement of 10 000 flags, and you get idk 100 UCs and 500tkns or something. Because I think even such reward would not break the economy, given how much they reduced rewards for basically everything from rank ups to missions to regular containers.

I too personally prefer the number indicator as it gives much better time duration idea as opposed to visual filling bar. Agree with Maf that in this case, the filling bar can be a bit deceiving, and give a false idea of how much time is needed for next supply. When it comes to simplifying the amount of numbers on screen, I would remove the key binders for supplies on top as well as the number of supplies displayed in battle, because I dont think it is that crucial. Might be good on very low ranks where the amount of supplies is much lower, but as people progress, they tend to accumulate a good amount of supplies at which point they dont really need to see thisduring the duration of battle.

Very true. Healing Emitters Shaft has remained one of the most consistent augments throughout years. Its actually quite crazy, because I believe that silently, its the longest running overpowered augment that to this day remains extremely relevant if not very game breaking. While the support it provides is incredibly valuable, I feel it gains too much experiense for healing teammates. The long range healing is just that powerful, and at this point, it can be argued that it pretty much contests Magnum in level of annoyingness, in a sense that it can gain a lot of points by just supporting multiple teammates under heavy fire without ever exposing itself. This is on top of the fact that despite the damage nerf it received, it still can be used even on sniping offense. I remember how exhilarating it was when towards the end of 2021, Tanki added Blunderbuss, Vampire Nanobots, and Healing Emitters within a span of 2-3 months in to the Battle pass. Those where still some pretty busted augments in those days. Now look in comparison how the power creep changed these augments. Healing Emitters despite receiving some nerfs is still performing above average, and its basically the best healing the game provides in most situations. On the other hand, most players these days probably dont even know that something like Blunderbuss exists, and Vampire despite still being used here and there is also quite far away from what it used to be.

Strifing hulls are still op as hell. Crusader absolutely dominating almost every battle. At this point, the track hulls most true to the name of a tank are a joke for most part apart for Vikings and maybe Hunters. Every battle I see literally the same copypaste combo in Top 3 consisting of Crusader/Defender/ some OP augment/ and either Lifeguard or Blaster. So much for balance and diversity in this game.

The one thing I like is the Arms race, not even for the mode itself that much, but for the maps that have been selected. Finally something else other than the usual boring overplayed MM maps. Will enjoy a bit the Pass, Atra and Canyon.

We love our weekly/biweekly 100 Mines and Speed Boosts. Its a joy redeeming a code these days xD

I am not expecting any radical increase in the fund even with the Black Friday advent calendar. A lot of buyers who wanted to participate probably already purchased some offers, and given how the fund is progressing, I dont think there will be a big motivation to purchase any additional offers. Others with funds to spare may still wait for the low chance of higher levels being reached before participating, which may not even happen. For an increased prize of entry, there is no guaranteed initial reward. That's why people started to prefer events like Freezer Games, because it is cheaper and you know what you are buying. You pay the initial prize of 700 rubies, and you know you will get to lvl.13 with just missions. If you want two extra rather op augments, you pay 1.8 m crystals or extra rubies. But in Tanki Fund, you are not guaranteed rewards, unless others push it far enough before you participate. If you participate early, you dont know what you will get. Will it stop at level 8? Will it get to at least Tandem? Is there even a chance to get to Sustainable Nanobots and Destroyer? That's too many unanswered questions for many to risk the participation. Fingers crossed ? to those who choose to participate.

Ou no! What a nightmare! Vacuum is basically unusable now :(. And this was in a battle where a decent number of people had Striker protection, really good GS and other powerful augments. Even if we somehow take into consideration Phoenix and the fact this guy seems to be a nolifer mastering the "extreme skill" that is Vacuum, I think this in all seriousness pretty much answers the question whether this nerf was sufficient enough.

i think it will be more used by clans, I can see the Akumas and alike storming the battlefield with this while using some busted augments in conjuction with it. Youtubers will probably also have some friends boosting them or themselves boosting others. I think it will be mostly for clans and friend gameplay since those tend to be slightly more organized while playing. If I am not mistaken, Tanki follows the european time, so you will have to wait for server restart.

Cough, cough Quoting the announcement: "From the moment of purchase, starting from December 1st, new gifts will appear in the Advent Calendar section of Missions every day. "

Who said anything about deleting it? People only asked for it to be nerfed becase many have been running around getting 1000+ points with augment that basically had a very limited counterplay options and them being basically spawnkilled. The nerfs should be sensical and should make augments good while not busted and respecting the hierarchy of garage, legendary, and exotic augments. Obviously, Tanki is either outright ignoring or prolonging the process of balancing for the monetary reasons, as their monetary model was more or less almost always based on selling power. But, that does not mean that every busted augment should stay this way forever. And as we could also see many times in a past, a single nerf or rework isn't always enough to just call the augment balanced. Even recently, we saw Tandem getting nerfed, and surprise, surprise it did not make the augment balanced at all. Now, it received another nerf, and it is finally in a state where it still performs better than garage augments, but it isn't as oppresive as it used to be. played it yesterday, and it is still pretty good augment. I haven't seen many Vacuums, because of the distribution of freezer game augments that people are trying right now, but I doubt that 250% to 230% made Vacuum so much worse that it forced anyone to switch to RRE.

People do be so impatient these days, despite knowing very well how long it often takes Tanki to add items from events to accounts ?
-
By what I got from the rather poor browser translation, it's pretty much the same as here. Mainly its too expensive for most people, and for those that are willing to fork out those 1500 rubies are only going to do so if the fund reaches at least 15 levels. Most people are just meming on it.

Lol this hits hard. It really feels like the best the mods and helpers in general can ever reply these days is: a) "Wow what a great new art, the designers outdone themselves" b) "Good luck everyone" c) "Awesome new pay 2 participate event" (that only buyers, select few f2p who saved for months and years on end, and me cause I get paid in game resources for the helper job be participating) d) "What a great balance changes and fixes, great job devs!" (meanwhile years old visual bugs, other bugs, and 95% of broken equipment is still running around, while other equipment that desperately needs buffs or reworks hasnt been touched in months or years on end) Dont get me wrong, not really discussing their job or anything. I get it, dont bite the hand that feeds you (said metaphorically as they are not paid real money afaik), but boy oh boy, a lot of helpers do really come around as the npcs in the games that only have 3 preprogrammed lines to use xD

That is actually a very bad idea. First, it promotes the very act of sabotage as something legal and "good" which only leads to more people sabotaging and doing it even without the use of grenades. It also creates a lot of bad blood between players which leads to more personal conflicts and more sabotage. People start sabotaging back and it creates endless vicious circle of more and more sabotage that heavily distracts from actual gameplay. Additionally, the problem isn't in the camper players themselves. Camping existed from the very beginning of the game. Tanki even created turrets like Shaft and Railgun that are more or less for ages camper turrets, along with many more that can be to extent used for camping. The problem is in gameplay itself: a) Tanki failed to introduce effective anticamping options. Stuff like Magnum and Striker that have been advertised as anticamping new options have become some of the most effective camping turrets themselves. b) Gameplay heavily shifted away from battle objectives. Completing battle objectives is one of the main stimulants for players to not camp. Apart from TDM, most other game modes require you to move around the map to actually complete the battle objective - you need to move to capture flags, to deliver the rugby ball, to capture the points, etc.. However these days, completing battle objectives either outright does not give enough points to justify playing it (like after the score nerf, delivering flags in ASL), or even if the battle objectives do give quite good amount of points (like for delivering flag in CTF), you can still outperform players who are completing battle objectives by simply camping or playing every mode as a deathmatch, because a lot of equipment these days gives you more points than doing something useful like capturing flags, or delivering balls. For example, in my opinion, destroying an enemy should give far less points (excluding TDM) than something like delivering flags or rugby balls, These modes should be focused more on objectives and give far more points for succesfully completing them. On top of all of this, completing battle objectives has been far less important because winning or losing is no longer important for getting good rewards after the battle. You can lose 6-0 in CTF and still get more crystals than the winning team just because you have some busted augment that gives you more points than players on the winning team gained from capturing flags. And of course, missions and special missions which is the sole reason some players even play the game daily, rarely have any focus on battle objectives these days. c) A lot of people camp because they cant do anything else in battle. There is still a big imbalance between equipment of f2p and buyers. Lot of people cant leave the safety of their base, because the moment they leave, they get picked up by enemy campers or busted augments that kill them in nanoseconds. Some people simply dont have the skills or equipment to keep up with more powerful equipment of buyers or endgame players. So they stay in the safety of bases that often provide the power in numbers and camp because it is the only thing that somehow gives them a fighting chance.
-
No, it is not okay to sabotage your teammates. Sabotage of camping teammates was not magically legalized just because one description hinting at it appeared in the game. From my perspective, its one of those descriptions that should be taken with a grain of salt. Obviously, using smoke grenade on enemies is preferable and I believe in this camping meta, you throwing grenade at your teammates will not change anything. People will camp because they want to camp, or because it is their prefered playing style, or because it gives them better results than actively playing other objectives in the field. Throwing smoke grenade will most likely just distract both you and the camper even more, making your team perform even worse rather than forcing the camper to change his playing style. As for whether this will be considered a sabotage that needs some intervention is hard to say, and it is more of a question for the battle moderation. If I were you, I would not try my luck with any kind of sabotage or harrasment of your own teammates.

I bought a PASS TO THE freezer games and logged onto the event website, but cannot figure out how to play.
krokorok replied to Liberty_451 in Archive
Once you bought the event pass, you will start receiving missions that you need to complete to get the event currency - ice coins. Every day for the duration of the event one new mission will appear in the freezer games section that you need to complete and claim. This way you can earn a maximum of 13 coins. You can also buy additional coins in the shop under the ICE COIN subsection for crystals or rubies.
