Lol this hits hard. It really feels like the best the mods and helpers in general can ever reply these days is: a) "Wow what a great new art, the designers outdone themselves" b) "Good luck everyone" c) "Awesome new pay 2 participate event" (that only buyers, select few f2p who saved for months and years on end, and me cause I get paid in game resources for the helper job be participating) d) "What a great balance changes and fixes, great job devs!" (meanwhile years old visual bugs, other bugs, and 95% of broken equipment is still running around, while other equipment that desperately needs buffs or reworks hasnt been touched in months or years on end) Dont get me wrong, not really discussing their job or anything. I get it, dont bite the hand that feeds you (said metaphorically as they are not paid real money afaik), but boy oh boy, a lot of helpers do really come around as the npcs in the games that only have 3 preprogrammed lines to use xD

That is actually a very bad idea. First, it promotes the very act of sabotage as something legal and "good" which only leads to more people sabotaging and doing it even without the use of grenades. It also creates a lot of bad blood between players which leads to more personal conflicts and more sabotage. People start sabotaging back and it creates endless vicious circle of more and more sabotage that heavily distracts from actual gameplay. Additionally, the problem isn't in the camper players themselves. Camping existed from the very beginning of the game. Tanki even created turrets like Shaft and Railgun that are more or less for ages camper turrets, along with many more that can be to extent used for camping. The problem is in gameplay itself: a) Tanki failed to introduce effective anticamping options. Stuff like Magnum and Striker that have been advertised as anticamping new options have become some of the most effective camping turrets themselves. b) Gameplay heavily shifted away from battle objectives. Completing battle objectives is one of the main stimulants for players to not camp. Apart from TDM, most other game modes require you to move around the map to actually complete the battle objective - you need to move to capture flags, to deliver the rugby ball, to capture the points, etc.. However these days, completing battle objectives either outright does not give enough points to justify playing it (like after the score nerf, delivering flags in ASL), or even if the battle objectives do give quite good amount of points (like for delivering flag in CTF), you can still outperform players who are completing battle objectives by simply camping or playing every mode as a deathmatch, because a lot of equipment these days gives you more points than doing something useful like capturing flags, or delivering balls. For example, in my opinion, destroying an enemy should give far less points (excluding TDM) than something like delivering flags or rugby balls, These modes should be focused more on objectives and give far more points for succesfully completing them. On top of all of this, completing battle objectives has been far less important because winning or losing is no longer important for getting good rewards after the battle. You can lose 6-0 in CTF and still get more crystals than the winning team just because you have some busted augment that gives you more points than players on the winning team gained from capturing flags. And of course, missions and special missions which is the sole reason some players even play the game daily, rarely have any focus on battle objectives these days. c) A lot of people camp because they cant do anything else in battle. There is still a big imbalance between equipment of f2p and buyers. Lot of people cant leave the safety of their base, because the moment they leave, they get picked up by enemy campers or busted augments that kill them in nanoseconds. Some people simply dont have the skills or equipment to keep up with more powerful equipment of buyers or endgame players. So they stay in the safety of bases that often provide the power in numbers and camp because it is the only thing that somehow gives them a fighting chance.

No, it is not okay to sabotage your teammates. Sabotage of camping teammates was not magically legalized just because one description hinting at it appeared in the game. From my perspective, its one of those descriptions that should be taken with a grain of salt. Obviously, using smoke grenade on enemies is preferable and I believe in this camping meta, you throwing grenade at your teammates will not change anything. People will camp because they want to camp, or because it is their prefered playing style, or because it gives them better results than actively playing other objectives in the field. Throwing smoke grenade will most likely just distract both you and the camper even more, making your team perform even worse rather than forcing the camper to change his playing style. As for whether this will be considered a sabotage that needs some intervention is hard to say, and it is more of a question for the battle moderation. If I were you, I would not try my luck with any kind of sabotage or harrasment of your own teammates.

I bought a PASS TO THE freezer games and logged onto the event website, but cannot figure out how to play.

Once you bought the event pass, you will start receiving missions that you need to complete to get the event currency - ice coins. Every day for the duration of the event one new mission will appear in the freezer games section that you need to complete and claim. This way you can earn a maximum of 13 coins. You can also buy additional coins in the shop under the ICE COIN subsection for crystals or rubies. -
Lol, there are definitely far more players who have it and who can constantly get top 1 with it practically nonstop, despite protections. And even if it was so super skill capped, that does not mean that those who mastered this "incredible art" of Vacuum spam should be running around and getting 1000-1500 points in every match just because there are noobs who cant play it efficiently. This is completely irrelevant argument. Protections, Defender and Lifeguard together can pretty much counter everything regardless. Equipping these does not really make every augment balanced, otherwise there would literally be no point in having any balance changes whatsoever.

Feel like this will not go far again, no incentive on the first 10 levels just like last time. Tandem on 11th is getting nerfed again, and Bombard on 13th did not really make much of a splash as a new augment either. First really interesting rewards are on 17th and 19th level with Sustainable Isida and Destroyer. The price is also quite discouraging at lowest entry being again 1500 rubies. I wish it would do better than last esports major, but who knows, especially after some pretty good events in last months like Assembly, Trick or treat and the latest Freezer games probs already drained a lot of rubies out of people.

And conveniently at the time when it is about to be massively distributed as well through event. Predictable.

TNK00-00000-06F9M-9BROA-CPIIU Premium 1 Day

I think this leaves a lot of wiggle room for people to suggest ideas for additional rewards under the pretence of it being a new feature to try out and only obtainable after some mission is completed.
-
When was the last time you got 8 augments from 16 Ultra Containers? xD
-
Arent suggestions asking for any additional rewards suppose to be declined? Besides, these controls are made to give players variety in options with what they can play with, not for them to get more rewards from them.

You look like a familiar face from long ago. Dictator has fallen off massively and it is very sparsely used. Most people these days use either nontrack hulls like Crusader and paladin or Viking or at max Hunter as their ODs tend to be better in medium hull meta than Dictators. If you want to use Dictator, its best to share the OD with teammates to take advantage of the 20 points you get for sharing OD effect, and use the Supercharge effect with turret and augment that can take advantage of those 10 seconds of 100% critical damage. Dont spend crystals on supplies, if you plan to play semiregularly, you will get a bunch of them from containers anyway. Drones are absolutely necessary these days as without a drone your supplies are only giving you 50% power. Since you dont have that much crystals, you should defo save up for Brutus max upgrade during a 50% sale (probs Black Friday or New year sale). This is a basic drone that is fairly cheap and allows you to maximize the power of your supplies. Augments are also important, I am not sure about garage augments for Smoky, since I dont ever play them but you might want to save crystals for Rico Plasma Torch which is pretty good augment for crystals that is flying under the radar. As for equipment a lot of it has been moved to containers. From new turrets and hulls to augments and such.

Buyers will do what they know best to get that Freeze skin and Augment for faction winning.

I never mentioned anything about not being able to deal with it. Its not the point of being unable to deal with Viking OD, you can deal with any type of Overdrive under certain right circumstances, but it is the simple point of certain equipment being overused and frankly quite overpowered. By this same logic you are applying, if I am able to deal with vacuum Striker does that universally make it a balanced augment?
-
Lol aboslutely not dude, you dont have to play 20 hours daily for an event that lasts 26 days. I played at max 3 contracts a day so a couple of hours, usually at max 3 hours depending on how well I played and what I played with. And then the Firebird event came which honestly helped immensely. If that did not happen I would probably stopped at 5th checkpoint. I was able to finish one Silver Contract every 30-35 minutes without wasting any supplies. So I decided to give it a shot to last checkpoint. Only during the Firebird event I played 5ish hours maybe a bit more, but defo not too much more.

If Viking is the only way for you than that is simply your skill issue, of not being capable of doing anything any other way. And even if Viking was the only way to clear bases, it still does not matter, because that is simply the gameplay flaw of this game. Even if you clear enemy base with Viking people will still camp and do the same thing again, because there is no stimulus to do things any other way, People will still camp because it is profitable to camp, and a lot of people cant play otherwise because they cant face the op augments running around that basically force them to stay in their bases. There is also no motivation for a lot of people to leave the base and play game objectives, because winning or losing makes little difference these days regarding the rewards you receive at the end. It does not matter Crusader OD takes a lot to recharge, it still overperforms in battles heavily, and basically replaced Paladin as the top strifing hull that all the players with OP augments use these days. Strifing is just that overpowered.

Done with just Silver Contracts. 4.7 mil crystals spent ?
-
Lol. Would I be surprised if this was copypasted from different event without as much as proofreading? Nope, they have a history of doing that. But still we never even had an event where you would get this many augments outside of those that have like 20 to chose from. I guess we are secretly getting at least 24 augments xD.
-
Not just augments but also drones and hulls need balancing. Defender is way too overplayed it defo needs to be nerfed at least slightly. Crusader seems to be constantly overperforming, even more than Paladin rn. On top of that, support ODs like Titan and Dictator need buffs or reworks, while extremely overplayed offensive ODs Viking and Crusader should be nerfed a bit.

Event dates: from November 15th 2 AM to November 28th 2 AM UTC. Ofc, it does not.

Wait a sec? Regular container giving something good?

So as we know, only one contract can be active at a time, which is obviously in place to make players play more and not abuse the system by completing all contracts at the same time. However, I feel it would be so much practical to not be constantly forced to check the contract section for activation of new contracts and claiming of the finished contract. Once you would finish currently active contract, all the other exp you gain in battle is automatically counted towards the next contract in line. There is a time where you need to gain just a couple of hundred points and anything gained on top of that just goes to waste, or you have to leave the battle to switch to new contract which obviously wastes your time in battle as well as resources like supplies. There might as well be an option to turn the autoassignement of new contract off, in case you purchased too many contracts, so that they can still be refunded at the end of the event.

Some of the best augments rn are Striker exotic augments like Vacuum, Faust, Tandem, then Large Caliber Vulcan, Critical Mix Firebird, some Pulsars like Smoky, Firebird, Tesla, Freeze, Plasma Turbo Accelerator Twins, Hyperspeed augments, Healing Augments for Thunder and Shaft. Those are some from the top of my head that are either game breaking or performing practically constantly very well. Unfortunately most of these are exotics or legendary augments that are quite hard to come around, you usually have to participate in events to get these which oftentimes comes with a price. However there are also many garage augments that can still perform above average - my personal favorites are Shock Freeze, Incendiary Mix Firebird, Plasma Torch Rico, Heavy Capacitor Shaft among others that are still very much usable depending on your skill. As for Blaster, Lifeguard and Miner, they are now hull augments and quite powerful ones, especially Blaster and Lifeguard replaced many AP and EMP immunities as top choices. They can be rarely obtained from containers as legendary drops and sometimes appear as prizes in events as well.
