I got mentioned by @At_Shin themself I feel so proud I did something productive for once. Ooh, that sounds really fun! Only problem is, not everyone passes in Rugby mode, so they'll have to learn if they can keep this mode working. (I myself didn't know the controls for passing for a while.)

Okay, phew, thanks. I was worried my favorite drone would get changed.

Honestly, I don't think that Hopper is that big of an issue any more. The only problem is with golds, but I stopped caring about those a long time ago. That being said, a good counter to a Hopper + Trickster/Crisis combo is Hunter, as it stuns, EMP's, and jams. Hunter is really underrated in the current game meta. (I don't use it, but I appreciate it.) Any EMP augment, actually, will help fight Hopper, as will Stunning. Hopper's still too easy to capture with (there's a really active thread about how to fix this in the I&S section), but it's not the worst. As @DestrotankAI9 said, Paladin, at present, is more OP. I love it, and even when it's nerfed, I'll probably keep using it, but until then, it's Paladin, not Hopper, that causes the most problems in capture modes. It's almost invincible, it destroys armor so you get kills so much faster, and the Jammer makes it impossible to fight back with anything but your turret and hull. All of which makes it really easy to capture.

Hold up, Supplier is getting a rework? I thought the buff was gonna be all that happened to it!
-
Eyy same. I'm using Paladin + Vampire Nanobots. And I am just waiting for the nerf to both. But I don't care.

All you have to do is go to the chat box, click on the dropdown menu, and go to the Events chat. At a pre-announced time (normally 1700 UTC), a helper will post a link for the battle. Just join that and do what they say.

I see. Is it just on my end, or do other people see it too? (BTW, something similar happens with certain buildings, like the big one in Dusseldorf.)

My Tanki bucket list: Max out my Isida and Wasp, and play it with either Brutus or Supplier maxed out. Use Vampire Nanobots at least once. (Already done, yay!) Use Vampire Nanobots at least once in Deathmatch. Obtain and use AP Ricochet at least once. Max out my Supplier. Obtain the Monochrome paint. Destroy @Maf in a battle (I've seen them once or twice). Get Isida's Adrenaline augment (I only have that one to get and then I'll have every Isida augment). Get a Gear Score of 9699. (I am not a buyer, ergo, I will never get the 9999.)

I don't use Smoky, but from what I can tell facing off against it, Supercumulative Rounds is much too high, Autocannon is too low, and Adrenaline is rarely better than Cryo Rounds. Just my personal opinion.

Appearance of Supply Boxes

Did the appearance of supply boxes change? I don't remember them looking like this. -
valid Friends List : Addition of Cancellation of Sent Friend Request!
readyfireaim replied to Vicky1410 in Ideas and Suggestions
It would be a simple implementation, and would be a nice thing to add, just for peace of mind. It's basically a list of all the friend requests you've sent that haven't been accepted or declined yet. Very simple, and it would help you find which requests got declined, or are unnoticed. -
This is my least favorite mode too, for the same reason. It's impossible to get anywhere as an attacker. I hoped this idea would fix that somewhat.
-
I'm hoping it's Isida. I'd think that would be the safest bet. Either that or Titan.
-
It feels kinda like the effects they have in games like Halo, where the voice goes "Killing spree" when you kill a bunch of enemies in a row without dying. My only problem with this is, it'll get annoying when you have an OP Juggernaut who goes around making banners show up everywhere. Would this idea have a "disable" option?

@IMPULSE-WARRIOR That's the thing. You've hit the nail on the head when you said that if you're playing Tanki, you've got three routes to go. One, you're a F2Per who just plays for fun. Two, you're a F2Per who takes the game seriously. Three, you're a buyer. (Need I say that buyers take the game seriously?) I fall into the first category. I just don't care that much. I mean, I do care some. It's hard to have fun when you're getting shredded by the godawful Hopper + Crisis combos. But that's the whole reason I play, to have fun. There's a reason it's called a video game. Now, there's a lot of people who fall into the second category. I'm guessing you're one of them. I sympathize with these people, cause I'm actually a very competitive person at heart. And like you said, with these people, thanking the devs is a no-no. I get that. Because the devs cater towards the third category, the buyers, who are willing to spend their cash on the game. And unfortunately, that never ends well for the non-buyers. Oh, and then, as soon as the non-buyers figure out a way to fight the buyers, the devs come in and take that way away, so the buyers will be more tempted to keep spending cause hey, what do you know, Tanki cares about them and wants them to do better than everyone else. But every now and then you get something that the devs do for the F2Pers. Case in point, this Black Friday. Because they are still a part of the playerbase, albeit, if the reports are true, a shrinking part of the playerbase. And I guess there are a couple different approaches you can take towards that. You can approach it like the first category (hello) does. Hey, look, something good! Maybe the devs will listen to us if we give them good feedback and they'll do it again! It might be hopeless, especially knowing the Tanki devs. But I try. (It helps that I'm an optimist.) Or you can take the second category's approach. The devs don't deserve our thanks, cause one little thing doesn't make up for everything else that they've done that's wrong and bad. Another fair approach. It all varies depending on the person. I won't try to change anyone's mind or any nonsense like that. I just wanna explain how I work. And I hope I explained how others work, too.

Well, I mean, I just upgraded Brutus. It feels like a pretty safe bet, because there's not much that can be done with it. So that's a possibility. As for your question, I'd say that they have a lot more room. They can add new turrets, new hulls, new drones, new game modes and mechanics... but that's not necessarily a good thing. Because most of these things will probably originate as buyer-oriented updates, and since when is that a good sign? I think the fact that they can implement a bunch of new features doesn't necessarily mean that those new features will be good for anyone.
-
Nice idea! It already exists in other games, why not here?

@IMPULSE-WARRIOR I think that you were calling me out for saying thank you to the devs? I'm not 100% sure, cause I missed the message, but I got a notif, I saw the quoted version, and I can read between the lines. May I make myself more clear? The new upgrading system is terrible in my opinion, yes. I never liked it. Also, I'm completely aware that my garage should probably be much more powerful than it is. I only have three Mk7 hulls, two Mk7 turrets, and one fully upgraded drone, at one rank below Legend. But I don't play to be a god at this game. I just play to have fun. So I'm fine with being weak. What I'm not fine with is the developers adding in a bunch of new stuff that causes huge discrepancies between buyers and nonbuyers like me. It's really hard, as a nonbuyer, to survive for any amount of time due to all the AP and EMP shots flying every which way. I don't approve of that stuff the devs decided to do in any way, shape, or form. Heck, I have EMP Railgun and I never use it because I hate Railgun, and I hate EMP shots. So I'm definitely not the kind of guy who would simp for the devs at every little thing they do. The only reason I was thanking the devs is for the sales. I've been struggling to choose a drone, my Isida has been stuck at Mk7-11 forever, I was pretty sure I was never gonna get Striker Mk7, and my protections have been useless cause I can't upgrade them. So when this sale rolled around, I really appreciated it, because I got a chance to up my garage, and get closer to what I should look like on the battlefield. When something good comes around, you have to acknowledge it, no? You leave positive feedback, it might change something, and they might decide to do it again. They might not. But you never know. And I genuinely appreciated the sales. So why not say that? I'm not mad at you, don't worry. I just really want to make myself clear. There are many things I don't like the devs doing. So when we get something good, I choose to be happy about it, and show some appreciation.

I wasn't sure if I was gonna make it here, cause of everything else I had going on outside of Tanki. But here I am... literally the only reason I did this challenge. And oh what the heck. I haven't gotten to Tier 50 yet (if ever). I know the augment is gonna get nerfed to the ground within a month. But, seeing as this was the only reason I was here (and so I can complete my collection of Isida augments, not counting Adrenaline): Thank you very much.
-
Oh, good to know hehe I think I will join you in being a Brutus-only player. Also, if you want Tesla, Christmas discount is in a month...
-
Okay, y'all, million-dollar question: should I get this BP? I have the TK, first off. Second, I have wanted Vampire Isida ever since its existence, and with Support Nanobots, I'll have every Isida augment except Adrenaline. Third, I like extra containers and crystals. But... the Nuclear Energy is still there... I already have the non-animated paint... and the augment is probably gonna get nerfed to the ground in a month. But then again, my whole philosophy with Tanki is "It's all gonna die any day now anyways... why not just have as much fun as I can?" I'm leaning towards getting the BP... but I'm not sure.
-
I think there are going to be two, and you can choose which one to use.
-
Overall, good V-Log. Excited for the new interface. I like the two interface options. I just hope that they have options to disable the emotes cause otherwise it's gonna be slightly distracting. It was a good question too.
-
I got Brutus to 20/20 for the Black Friday sales and I can actually feel the difference. For what it's worth, this drone can actually affect your tank somewhat.
-
Oh, cool, I never knew that! Maybe if this idea happened, the points for capturing a flag could be reverted to 5, not 6.
