Removes supplies from enemies so this could make sense for allies.

Either you didn't actually have it equipped, your critical hit luck was just THAT bad, or every single person you went up against had heat immunity.

Not too impressed with what I've seen of it tbh. Definitely not a novelty- it's something of Gauss, Striker, Magnum, and Shaft/Tesla's firing modes combined.

It's very clear that the devs are aiming the game toward children now, with a more "simplistic", practically dumbed down interface, and mechanics. Removing a lot of good features/adding unnecessary ones to improve QoL for "new players" (such as merging MU/buy buttons or adding auto self destruct). It's obvious that devs know more kids are playing their game now and aren't as smart. If you look at the old trailers for the game, the targets seem to be teenagers and the teaser itself encourages intelligent crafty play, even showing off Rico's bouncing mechanics and flaunting different equipment and upgrades. One of its selling points was even "ONLY REAL PLAYERS", which is going away soon as the devs plan to add bots.

I logged in on the 3rd but I got a welcome screen that said "WELCOME, NO NAME" or something like that. Was that a common issue or did I mess up somewhere?

Game still crashes and lags a lot and I keep losing good progress... I just got a "Cannot load resources" error and upon reloading the game it wouldn't load. There goes my progress...

...As many pointed out, Titan's dome is already a pain in that you either can't do anything about it, or you're absolutely smoking whoever's trying to hide under it. This change would just make it even less welcome to those who belong to the former category.

New Rapid Fire Mode is insane, even with so many people having 50% protection.

Recovery is the rate at which Shaft reloads after a sniper shot.

Lowered from 50% to 30%. An augment like Round Stabilization can raise it to 50% again.

What does this mean..?

I just tried out the new Rapid Fire Mode and.. it's probably the best Shaft augment now. Here's why: Everyone knows 50% protection is a b---h. So when there are a lot of Eagle modules in the match, sniping mode is pretty much useless anyway. Critical damage is what champions the game nowadays, and you get that sweet sweet critical hit with arcade shots. The +167% recharge rate makes it so you can go from 0 energy to full energy in around 3.74 sec- which is around the time it used to take to recover energy for one arcade shot before. This increased longevity makes it so that the time it takes to recover energy for one arcade shot is roughly equal to the reload time for stock arcade shots. Sometimes I even find that I have energy for more shots than I anticipated. In short, RFM's sniping mode has been deleted but sniping is useless against Eagle modules and if someone's unprotected, 3-5 arcade shots can probably finish them off just the same. Plus you don't have to guess how much energy to charge and you get critical damage as well. Sweet. This recharge rate buff really makes all the difference.
