They have determined that more 'clicks' equals more fun. Clicking is addictive. It's psychological persuasion at it's core. That's why you can click up to 4 times to open just 2 crates. Hick's law (although I think the devs want players to stay here for longer amounts of time), Fitt's law, Visual Hierarchy, and Color Psychology. Google them all and then return to tanki's mission page...

I always thought they just posted a fake message about moderator analysis being complete, lol. I would have thought come up with a better message like 'hacker booted. thanks for keeping tanki real'. Effective at what? Reducing hackers/saboteurs or more effective at mods understanding the report? As far as I'm concerned, the bots are the biggest saboteurs in the game today. They block you and your path, they bump you when trying to shoot, they shoot directly at you (sometimes) and not the enemy, They don't shoot at each other, and they don't participate in the game mission, Sounds like multiple violations... -
The gamepad's horizontal aim-assist is a huge problem and NO ONE REALIZES IT
Jeers4U replied to Son_Goku in Archive
And tanki knows that the core will never leave despite these unfair tools. They owe PC players nothing. I just leave the games where one or more rails have auto aim. Good luck 4 humans and 8 bots left playing on my team. -
What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?
Jeers4U replied to Maf in Game Discussion
Not sure I can find the actual statement where I say it will be lame. Do I think it will be lame? If the devs/owners approach classic with the exact same mindset as they did with the current version of tanki, then yes, it will be lame. If it's a pet-project of the devs with no links to monetization or profit or revenue--and just for pure game enjoyment-- then I believe it will actually be... a good start. And I'll be the first in line to play. History of their involvement with this game, however, suggests the former and not the latter. And I say that the devs have promised a lot of things that have turned out to be not true. And do you believe everything the devs tell you? In that case, what is there to discuss from YOUR standpoint? Why even reply to me? Why not just say 'every conversation in this forum is moot, so I shall not engage, because the devs tell the truth 100% of the time and are always right'...? Oh, I believe they ARE collecting suggestions. But I also believe that is ALL they are doing: collecting. Not listening. Just collecting. Remember the survey from a couple of years ago...? Did anything change for the better (from the players viewpoint)? Did the players who responded to the survey in this very thread change their vote from 'on edge' (43%) or 'hate it' (27%) to 'love it' (9%) and/or 'satisfied' (21%)? No. They did not. Because tanki was just collecting. I have literally a decade of evidence that they only listen to their owners. And I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve with your reply. As far as I can tell, I'm actually following exactly what the title of the thread is. I'm giving my opinion. Again, I'm not responsible if that hurts anyone's feels for having a contrary opinion to something that doesn't exist yet. If you'd rather me not give my opinion, you are always free to block me, ban me, or scroll right on past. Or--as forum moderator--you have the power to re-title the thread: "What is your opinion about the current state of tanki online?--except jeers". Your choice, my dude. Since we both like quotes, here's one that i think might apply to the dev's course of action regarding this business. "It is easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission" -

Lol. Because what they say is etched in stone, lol. I don't watch their... self indulgent... videos. I tried watching one but it went on forever, was rambling, and almost made me fall asleep twice. -

Will this game be 'for profit'? Will there be lame bots? Is the matchmaking going to be just as terrible as it is in this version of the game? And really... are we expecting them to listen to anything we say when the last several years of pleas (and dwindling player base) haven't prompted them to listen here? -
Just had 6 out of 8 team mates sitting in the base lobbing magnum shells and thunder frags during a siege game. Only one other tank left the base to grab a siege point. There is absolutely zero reason to play the mission objectives and not to camp. Tanki is the evolutionary equivalent of the horseshoe crab. So sad.

Tanki is a business first. A game second.

Dead tanks make your tank immobile for a brief period of time by blocking your path. That increases your chance of getting killed by the enemy. Which causes you to use your supplies immediately upon respawn (damage, speed, or shields--or whatever). Anything that causes you to die increases the chance that you will use supplies upon respawn. And if you somehow run out of supplies, there is a chance you will spend money to get more. Die enough times and there is an increased chance you will spend money to upgrade your tank in some manner to prevent yourself from dying so much in the future.

So now, you're putting 8k enemies with 3k bots? Can you make it make sense? Are the actual numbers of players playing so completely non-existent that you'll just put anyone, any gear score into a battle now as long as they are human...?
-
Back when they only had 1 juggernot in the arena, everything degraded into a DM and no one (except one or two actual humans) hunted the jug. Now, jug is just a regular DM game with two slightly more powerful tanks on each team. That isn't the description of a casual player, though. Not even close. I'm lucky to find 3 assault GAMES worth staying in--and playing--in ONE DAY. As for capping 3...? LOL. Not when tanki consistently puts me into games (me: 4k) with all the other players/bots being 5.95k and 6.6k, plus a couple of 6k humans on the enemy. It'd be interesting to see the statistics on how many players leave games vs. stay and play.

Fixed it for you
-
So tanki is going back to sneaking in two or three H6k+ GS tanks in a H4k battle again? What, are there no 5k bots available to keep the teams even anymore? For this comment, H = Human, B = Bot, GS = Gear Score

Juggernaut's auto destruct upon death should be on that list as well.
